The aim of the article is studying the essence of the basic models of world order, defining features of the formation of multipolarity as a modern world system with new centers of economic influence. By analyzing, systematizing and generalizing research works of a number of scientists, the formation of multipolarity is considered as an alternative to the unipolar model of the world in the context of the growth of new centers of influence, in particular, the problems of a multipolar world in the context of globalization are identified. The relevance of the fundamental study of the multipolarity phenomenon of the modern world is grounded, the development dynamics of the economically growing countries of the Asia-Pacific region in comparison with the world’s leading centers of economic influence: the USA, the EU, and Japan is described. Considerable attention is paid to the formation of new political and economic associations. New trends and features of the multipolar system of the world order under modern conditions are revealed. With regard to the prospects for the emergence of multipolarity, the author notes that the transition to the new system could be a source in solving many global problems associated with: establishment of a stable balance of power; consideration for common interests; reduction of opposition between centers of influence; establishment of stimulating co-operation.

The aim of the article is to study the competitiveness of the national economy of Ukraine and factors influencing it, determine the position of the country in the world economic rankings, monitor the latest global trends and analyze their impact on the competitiveness of Ukraine in the context of globalization. The theoretical bases of the concept “competitiveness of the national economy” are defined, and factors and patterns of the country’s competitiveness in the global space are systematized. It is determined that innovation, technologies, and human potential are the driving forces of competition in the modern world. With regard to the international practice, it is concluded that the use of the index method, on the basis of which world competitiveness rankings are formed, is optimal. It is established that the most positive dynamics is observed in terms of the Ease of Doing Business Index. At the same time, other indices have a relatively moderate trend with a slight positive or negative deviation. Prospects for further research in this direction are the issues of optimizing national competitive advantages under the influence of global challenges, constant monitoring of the latest trends in the development of the world economy, and analysis of the impact of globalization processes on the formation of the country’s competitiveness.

The current problems in the development of small enterprises in Ukraine are identified; the experience of European countries in the development of small enterprises and their promotion is studied. The analysis of the main shortcomings of domestic programs is carried out, and the most ambitious programs to support small enterprises in the European Union are considered. A classification of public-private partnership projects is developed based on a number of essential and independent features. It is proposed to classify the projects by traditionally considered features (form, stage at which the private partner is involved, source of funding, facilities, implementation, innovation, mechanism of interaction between the public and private partners, number of private partners involved, level of completion, level of public administration at which the project is implemented, legal mechanism of interaction between the public and private partners) and new ones (subject composition of partners, risk level). Moreover, the problems of controversy in singling out certain types of projects within the traditional classification criteria are eliminated. Based on the results of the research, it is proposed to break down corporate and contractual public-private partnership projects by their form; the existing, emerging or acquired ones – by object; projects in which a private partner is involved at the stage of design, construction, or operation of the object – by stage at which the private partner is involved; projects which are financed by a public, private partner or have mixed financing – by source of financing, etc.

The state of decentralization in Ukraine and the innovative achievements of various united territorial communities are considered. The analysis of possible implementation of these technologies in management of a united territorial community is carried out. New tasks of the regional strategy in terms of enlargement of districts in regional territories are considered. The concept of the changes is based on the need to remove the contradiction that has arisen in connection with the creation of united territorial communities (UNCs), when the functions of the united communities and district state administrations coincide and are duplicated. Indicators to characterize the situation, some axiomatic provisions, and a new model for ensuring the development of enlarged districts are proposed. The role of suburbanization as a strategic function of the development of territories is determined, and it is proved that suburbanization has an opposite effect on the development of cities and urban-type settlements. It is shown that the main problematic issue of the process of enlarging districts is to determine the proportions and balance between state influence on the regions and the limits of self-government.

The aim of the article is to study the theoretical and practical aspects of forming a system of competitive advantages of higher educational institutions (HEIs) in the context of globalization based on international and national ratings. The subject of the study is comparing competitive advantages of the world’s and Ukrainian HEIs on the basis of international and national rankings. The object of the study is the process of improving the competitiveness of Odessa National A.S. Popov Academy of Telecommunications under modern conditions based on the world and national ratings. The globalization of the economy has led to globalization of competition. One of the indicators of a university’s competitiveness is its position in the world and national rankings. A ranking for an HEI is an opportunity to become more recognizable, improve its reputation. Taking the leading positions in the national, and even the world ranking, the university improves its attractiveness not only for applicants, but also for employers, investors, and the state. However, there are weaknesses in modern rankings, and it is very important to avoid turning the rankings into an end in itself.

The article deals with modeling and forecasting the population of Ukraine by time series. It is shown that time series analysis is a complex, multicomponent econometric task which does not have a universal approach to its solution. This is due both to the diversity of methods of and approaches to time series analysis which were developed over time and to the specifics of time series data. For example, the authors of the article worked with a univariate nonstationary time series, therefore, the approaches and methods presented in the article are not recommended for time series with different properties. The article has an enormous practical value, since it discusses in detail issues of computer modeling of tasks of the kind. The carried out analysis of the literature has shown the relevance of the problems considered, among which particular attention should be paid to the choice of the ARIMA model, data visualization, and forecast accuracy.

Modern determinants of the systemic transformations in the accommodation sector, which are intended to contribute to promising areas of the restructuring of the national economy, are investigated. It is proved that the accommodation sector is a specific field of activity, a part of the hospitality industry, which depends on consumer experience, quality of service, location of a subject, political and economic situation in a region, country, city. The accommodation sector is available for large institutional investors that have assets in prestigious locations, but investments in this sector are becoming increasingly popular among private, smaller investors as a way to generate active income and capital growth due to the right location and effective hotel management. In the modern world, the accommodation sector is developing at such a rate that a high level of service in the accommodation sector: high-quality hotel services and competent hotel management, is becoming a top priority in hotel management. The leading place in the system for managing enterprises working in the accommodation sector belongs to the complex automation of hotels, which includes the automation of the processes of booking; settlements with guests, agents, tour operators.

The aim of the article is to analyze the characteristics of the functioning of and competitive situation in the postal market of Ukraine as well as the ways of its development. The analysis of the current state of the postal market in Ukraine has shown the dynamic development and intensification of the competition, in particular due to the rapid development of e-commerce. The growth in the volume of sold services in the field of telecommunications and postal services in Ukraine is stated. The analysis of the main competitors in the market – OJSC Ukrposhta, which is the national postal service operator, and LLC Nova Poshta showed the dominance of the latter. The main competitive disadvantages of OJSC Ukrposhta in the context of postal infrastructure, logistic routes, level of service, etc., are highlighted. A number of measures are proposed to speed up the development of OJSC Ukrposhta: fleet updating to shorten the delivery of goods; automation of the workflow to improve the quality / speed of provision of adjustment services; cooperation with global Internet portals to increase the volume of deliveries, etc. In general, the analysis showed that despite the dynamic development of the postal services market it needs effective strategic solutions, without which it will be difficult to intensify its activities on a global scale and to observe the country’s European integration course.

Positive and negative factors affecting the technological operations in the process in the enterprise’s functioning are analyzed. The aim of the article is to analyze the adequacy of a set of indicators characterizing the state of Ukraine’s industrial security, and to diagnose it on the basis of indicators supplemented by the authors. The set of indicators envisaged by the current regulatory framework for assessing the level of industrial security of Ukraine is analyzed, positive and negative aspects of their application are identified. The key indicators of industrial security of Ukraine describing production performance, degree of depreciation of fixed assets, profitability of operating activities and efficiency of enterprises by key economic activities are analyzed. Based on the analysis, threats to economic security and government measures aimed at enhancing industrial security are identified. The necessity of structural changes in the economy is argued. The authors have come to the conclusion that the analysis of the industrial security of Ukraine reveals the key strong and weak positions of the country in this area. Management at the national level, aimed at eliminating the identified threats to industrial security, will make it possible to comprehensively solve the pressing economic problems. The restructuring of the industry will make it possible to strengthen the export potential of Ukraine, ensure an adequate level of profitability of enterprises and resolve a whole range of related social issues.

Five companies (leaders and outsiders) of the life insurance market are identified: MetLife, TAS, Grawe Ukraine, INGO Ukraine Life, and AXA Life Insurance. It is accepted to consider the share of each company in the life insurance market structure in terms of insurance premiums as the resultant indicator and the equity, assets, investment income, insurance payments, insurance premiums, insurance reserves of the life insurance companies as the factors affecting their success. A general trend in activities of the companies under study – a gradual growth in their equity and assets, an increase in the insurance reserves – is identified. It is proposed to apply correlation analysis to determine the influence of the empirically selected factors. The presence of positive or negative trends in the development of life insurance companies in Ukraine is established, and the nature and strength of the relationships among factors affecting activities of the companies is determined.

The entire period after the global financial crisis unfolded, lenders suffer losses due to ultra-low interest rates, while entrepreneurs suffer from a shortage of bank loans. The emergence and accelerated development of various forms of crowdfunding, i.e, in literal translation – “funding by the crowd” has become a logical solution to the problem. The evolution of one of its varieties — namely, debt crowdfunding — is the research subject of this article. Studying activities of crowdfunding platforms allows to select six basic business models, only three of which operate on the basis of simple matching of lenders with borrowers (P2P is a model for mediation in unsecured borrowing, a balance and hybrid model). The three most recent business models of crowdfunding platforms are associated with securitizing loans, issuing transit securities and selling loans entirely. Analysis of the economic essence of the new types of platform operations gives grounds for concluding that the so-called “disintermediation” period of the market is ending, being replaced by the expansion of new financial engineering products with the corresponding subsequent development of this market.

The article analyzes the condition and problems of the system for financing state higher education institutions in Ukraine as well as ways for its optimization. Undoubtedly, it is important to determine the role and significance of education in society in the period of globalization, marketization and transformation processes. An analysis of different ways to diversify the sources of financing state higher education institutions is made and a system for financing a state HEI based of the results of its performance is proposed. It is proved that expansion of autonomy (financial, organizational and academic) of state HEIs is an inevitable process for ensuring a further increase in their efficiency. The reduction of budgetary allocations in general and in education, in particular, gives an impetus to state HEIs to search for alternative sources of financing. In this regard, it is necessary to pay attention to solving this problem, including the following: studying the world experience, analyzing the proposed mechanism for performance-based financing of state HEIs and considering ways to optimize allocation of their resources.

The aim of the work is to determine the content characteristics of the staff management system, develop guidelines, and assess competitiveness of the staff management system of banking institutions using benchmarking tools. It is proposed to assess competitiveness of the staff management system using benchmarking tools, which involves comparing HR practices of an individual institution with those of its main competitors and determining on this basis the best practices in staff management. The article contains methodological guidelines for assessing competitiveness of the personnel management system using benchmarking tools, which have been tested using as an example banking institutions. According to the results of the comparison of the staff management systems of the banking institution ¬– which is the object of the study – and of leading companies, the competitive positions of the studied bank are determined. Based on the results of the assessment, directions for increasing the attractiveness of the bank in the labor market are indicated.

The aim of the publication is to determine the essence of emotional intelligence, its place in the process of managerial decision-making at different levels of management, and relationship with the processes of labor activity. The article examines the essence of the concept of emotional intelligence, analyzes approaches of different authors, and proposes its original definition. Taking into account physical processes of brain activity, the algorithm for making management decisions and the role of emotional intelligence in it are clarified. The composition of emotional intelligence is determined, and the essence of the concepts of its main components – emotions and intelligence is revealed. Positive and negative effects of emotions on processes of labor activity are investigated. A matrix of interrelations between subjects of emotional intelligence and processes of labor activity is formed. The essence of the four main areas of emotional intelligence: self-understanding, self-control, empathy and management is determined and described. Examples of the impact of emotional intelligence on activities of companies are given.

The aim of the article is to justify the need for segmenting and choosing partners of an enterprise in the process of marketing activities. By analyzing, systematizing and summarizing scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists, the essence of partnering relationships and their role in implementing marketing activities of an enterprise are determined. Criteria for segmentation of participants in an enterprise’s relationships are identified, and existing matrix models for segmenting and choosing partners are considered. An important step in forming partnering relationships is evaluation of partners. Among the main groups of indicators for evaluating and choosing partners are: production, marketing, organizational, sociocultural, technical and technological, financial (economic) ones, information groups of indicators, which allow to comprehensively assess capabilities and resources of potential partners as well as benefits which can be obtained by the company in the process of cooperation. A promising direction for further research is to determine possible forms and types of relationships with partners which will allow improving effectiveness of marketing activities.

The article is aimed at defining points of intersection of interests of public sectors of economy with ways of influence of civil society institutions on the development of national higher education. In this regard, evolution of the participation of civil society in the functioning of economic system, as well as the system of higher education, is researched, identifying forms of participation in this process for public organizations, the State and business, which would be efficient in view of modern development of higher education in Ukraine. The evolution of civil society institutions came from their association with the State and the system of authorities created by citizens to overcome the syncretism of society and the State in the industrial era. The formation of post-industrial society along with the integral socio-cultural space accelerated the processes of self-organization of society, resulting in increased quantity and quality of the civil society institutions, their growing role in the functioning of public sectors. In the context of globalization and increased competition in the global market, the development of national higher education systems is being increasingly influenced by the international public organizations. The new paradigm of the interrelations of civil society institutions with the State, economy and higher education should be based on the search for points of intersection of their interests through the interpenetration of sectors and the creation of a single space of functioning. The analysis of the modern status regarding the mechanisms of interaction between the State and civil society in the national sphere of higher education allows to assert that formation of institutions «from below» and their efficient functioning have not yet acquired systemic character, have not become the basis of the process of formation and implementation of educational policy, are poorly perceived by most participants in the educational process. The structures established by the ministries or upon the initiative of other authorities are formal, their functional capacity and real influence remain still low and fragmented.

The publication is aimed at analyzing the gold market, defining the main factors that influence the pricing for gold, analyzing the world demand for gold. It is indicated that gold reflects the monetary and financial positions of the country and is one of the key indicators of its competitiveness; it is emphasized that the world gold market plays a special role in international finance; it is estimated how the world countries apply a variety of policies to form their gold reserves. The world gold market is analyzed for the time period of the last 10 years, identifying that the demand and supply of the yellow metal are constantly changing both structurally and functionally. Demand depends on the level of industrial development, the need for replenishment of gold and currency reserves of the State, speculative tendencies and generally tends to steady growth. The article covers the issues related to the world economic crisis, which started in 2008 and caused changes in all spheres of life: social, economic, political; which influenced development of the financial sector and the dynamics of both the world and national currencies, provoking instability both world-wide and in the scale of individual countries. In the crisis moments, gold is always an object of increased interest, being a risk-free and protected asset that has high liquidity. The conclusions can be drawn as follows: gold, in comparison with paper assets, remains a popular investment instrument and retains its significance for the States; the factors influencing the formation of gold prices are multifaceted and cover all aspects of the production, sale and consumption of gold. Currently the pricing for gold is being formed under the influence of political and financial factors.

In order to research the issues of creation of a competitive engineering product for the innovation-oriented international business, the article examines the aspects and tendencies of development of the modern engineering services market as an important part of an efficient economy. The attention is focused on the research of engineering activity of the industrialized countries – leaders in the modern international innovation-oriented market. The article allocates the factors which should be taken into view when making decisions on the part of customer as to expediency of concluding a contract for engineering services. A detailed characterization of engineering is presented, based on the following structural elements: subject of trade, main directions, and material component. The authors actualize the issue of elaboration of an efficient method to create an engineering product, the result of implementation of which should be innovative engineering solutions taking account of the needs of a particular customer. On the basis of the carried out researches the algorithm of formation and selection of competitive engineering decisions is developed, based on the principle of innovativeness of engineering service, which should be the basic factor of influence on competitiveness of the innovation-oriented international business.

Since inception more than 20 years ago of the World Trade Organization (WTO), as the main institutionalizing force in the sphere of trade, the developing countries have sought to achieve special recognition and attitude within the multilateral system to address their own structural and systemic problems. However, the influence of global institutionalization within the framework of WTO on the foreign trade of member countries remains debatable. The article aims its research at the influence of global institutionalization within the framework of WTO on the foreign trade flows of Ukraine. The objective is to assess the influence of the global institutionalization within the framework of WTO on the foreign trade of Ukraine and to elaborate a roadmap to improve the national institutional environment. The main method is gravitational modelling. The Index of Economic Freedom of The Heritage Foundation, the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum and the global indicators of the World Bank are used separately in the built models as institutional variables. All models also contain fictitious variables that indicate membership in the WTO or the regional trade agreements (RTA) of two countries. The sample includes all the countries that have been trading partners of Ukraine for the last 20 years. The following results are obtained: 6 gravitational models are built, allowing to calculate the possible growth rate of Ukrainian exports due to approximation of the institutional variables of Ukraine to the Central European level and to develop a roadmap to improve the national institutional environment. The calculated increase percentage shows that te global institutionalization within the framework of WTO can have a positive influence on Ukraine’s foreign trade flows, and gravity modelling can facilitate the determining how to improve the national institutional structure of Ukraine.

The article discusses the theoretical principles of the management of supply chains in terms of international contacts on the basis of application of a logistic conception. The concept of the international supply chain is clarified, the basic variants of its building are researched. The publication argues that logistic providers create preconditions for more efficient performance of business processes. It is proved that the organization of multimodal transportations of goods in the international supply chains should include harmonization of the overall characteristics of the cargo units on the basis of logistic accounting and contractual units, simplification of customs formalities and presence of a single person responsible to the owner. Features of the main technologies of cargo transportation in the international cooperation are considered and recommendations on increase of efficiency of each of them on the basis of application of a logistic conception are suggested.

The article is aimed at identifying the current tendencies of the lifelong learning in the EU countries and studying the peculiarities of formation of the key competencies of European employees. It is defined that in the European countries’ policy on vocational education and lifelong learning a promising trend is the approximation of vocational education to the labor market. The main changes in the definition of essence of the key competences for lifelong learning in the normative documents of the European Union are researched. On the basis of an analysis of legislative acts, the continuity of Ukraine's policy and loyalty to the European principles regarding the improvement of educational activities are substantiated. The main problems of gaining of key competencies by European workers and positive tendencies of spread of lifelong learning as well as the main indicators of its development are identified. The quantitative and qualitative characteristics of introduction of lifelong learning in the EU countries are determined. The modern innovative programs and measures for the financing of continuous vocational training of staff in the European countries are covered. The necessity of using European experience and the possibility of spread of life-long learning in Ukraine is substantiated.

The article is aimed at complex researching of modern institutional forms of the State regulation of innovative development. A scientific search of innovative solutions and mechanisms for innovative development which would provide institutional status of the State is carried out. It is identified that in the conditions of the growing social-institutional gaps there arose a question about activization of innovations which should correspond to the purposeful transition of Ukraine to the European way of development. Mechanisms for implementation of innovative development in Ukraine are analyzed, possibilities of application of modern institutional forms of the State regulation of economy are considered. It is proved that the main obstacle to resumption of innovative activity and realization of potential of innovative economic development is absence of a systemic approach, which should be based on complex combination of the institutional mechanisms defining current and strategic prospects of development of innovative activity and usage of its results for the purpose of inclusive growth of Ukraine. The author defines the instruments of the State’s influence on technological development together with the problems which the country should solve for preservation and development of national identity as a basis of its subjectivity. The necessity of introduction of purposeful measures of economic power concerning provision of a new stage in development of economy of Ukraine which should be based on a population of creative ideas of innovative-modernized development is substantiated. Prospect for further researches in this direction is substantiation of questions with regard to definition of problems of innovative development as a factor of demand for economic power of the State.

The problem of unevenness in development of regions is considered, which leads to weakening of their economic protection against the external and internal risks. The mechanism for diagnostics and measurement of unevenness in the socio-economic development of regions of Ukraine is elaborated and its influence on the grade of economic security at the regional level is analyzed. The results of the work are the conducting a cluster analysis of regions; calculation of the integral index of the economic security level; construction of the spatial-dynamic model, as well as calculation of the coefficient of unevenness in development. Two groups of regions differing in terms of economic security are identified. In order to define the integral level of economic security, a taxonomic index has been calculated, confirming the constant imbalance of regions in terms of their development in the national economy and increasing the unevenness in development over the years. The article is aimed at substantiating the system of formation of the model of modernization of the social sphere in the system of sustainable endogenous growth of regions of Ukraine. An analysis of the status of social security in the regions of Ukraine is carried out, which includes calculation of the integral coefficient of the social security of regions. It is determined that the general situation connected with social security in the regions of Ukraine is unstable, and in some regions critical. The sequence of changes in the model of social security in the system of sustainable endogenous growth of regions of Ukraine is defined, allocating the alternatives with regard to the decisions of regional authorities whether to preserve the current situation with shortcomings of the social security system or to eliminate them, which resulted in the formation of a qualitative model of social security. A model of social security in the system of sustainable endogenous growth of region has been developed, in which the directions of implementation of the regional social security policy are defined. According to these directions a set of the instruments focused on the formation and efficient functioning of the system of social security and achievement of its purpose within the framework of the policy of ensuring the sustainable endogenous growth of region is proposed. It is determined that in formation of the social security model is important that all its elements are oriented towards achieving a certain goal and are being introduced in accordance with the social security components of region: security of population reproduction and labor potential, security of the social sphere, security of the labor market and employment of population, migration security. Prospects for further researches in this direction are strategic directions, instruments and means of implementation of the model of social security of region in the conditions of European integration of Ukraine.

This article for the first time uses economic-statistical methods to research interaction of the innovation-investment activity and competitiveness at the level of region. For the complex research of individual and general influence of competitiveness of region and its innovation-investment activity, the Granger test and correlation-regression analysis are applied. The Granger test gives an opportunity to define causal relationships between the indicators of the innovation-investment activity of region. Pairs of indicators of the innovation-investment regional activity are defined and grouped according to the presence of communication, force and direction of influence. The correlation-regression analysis is used to determine the regional impact of the innovation-investment activity on the competitiveness. The character, closeness of relation and degree of influence of separate innovation-investment indicators on GRP are determined. Based on the actual data of the obtained dependency models of the analyzed indicators, a three-year forecast for the regional management of competitiveness is conducted.

Generalization of the theoretical-methodological instrumentarium of research on the public sector of economy suggests that the fundamental conceptualisation of the processes of production and consumption of public benefits together with pioneer researches in this area are laid down by Western European scientists-humanists. The complex discourse of the theory of public benefits requires research in such direction as the theories of behavior of individuals in the public benefits sector; German tradition of public benefits research (which is known to be based on the theoretical platform of public interest and collective needs). Another theoretical mainstream of researching public benefits issues is the theory of transaction costs, among the others. An analysis of publications of the scientific researches by various authors together with a marginal analysis of the enterprises in the oil and fat industry sector in conditions of uncertainty and risk are carried out. The theory of break-even and the corresponding algebraic methods are discoursed, their graphic interpretations for conditions of the oil and fat industry sector of Ukraine are presented. The situation with the occurrence of uncertainty and risk in the marginal analysis is researched. An empirical estimation of risk is carried out for 11 enterprises in the oil and fat industry sector and a calculation of the break-even points of activity of the PJSC with Foreign Investment «DOEZ» is done taking into view the uncertainty factor for 2015–2016. The article is aimed at studying and analyzing the current status of the internal financial control in the bodies of public sector. A number of measures are outlined, which are already implemented for the formation of an effective system of the State internal financial control in accordance with the internationally recognized standards. An attempt of a complex research of components of the internal control system is also made, namely, the definition of managerial accountability and responsibility of heads of budgetary institutions. The information on the status of functioning of the internal control in ministries, other centralized executive bodies, regional State administrations in the context of elements of the COSO model (the internationally recognized structure of internal control) is analyzed. The carried out research concludes that for the time being there are shortcomings both in the implementation of the integrated system of internal control under the article 26 of the Budget Code of Ukraine, and in the implementation of internal audit activities in the ministries and other centralized executive bodies. A number of problems are allocated, which must be solved in order to build an effective and reliable system of internal control in the bodies of public sector, ways of overcoming these problems are suggested.

The article proposes to introduce into the accounting theory the concept of «forensic audit», which should be understood as the process of studying company’s reporting and economic operations in order to develop measures to respond, manage and prevent fraud on the basis of expert judgement. In view of the scholars’ developments it is proved that forensic audit is not a separate means of control of economic-legal aspects of economic activity, therefore specialists in forensic audit should have complex knowledge in the spheres of: accountance and auditing; economic and financial crimes; modern information-communication technologies, psychology and other social sciences; criminology and deviantology. As a result of comparison of the main features of external audit, internal control and forensic audit (as an element of system of internal audit), it is proved that forensic audit is perspective and can be used to identify anomalies by establishing compliance of events of financial strategy and modeling deviations of the predicted results from the basic financial strategy. Research on the purpose of forensic audit, its subject, objects, normative base, periodicity of conducting and other essential characteristics is proposed to be performed at trading enterprises within terms of the authority of internal audit department. In order to prevent problems related to infringement of property of a trading enterprise and its improper use, as well as to collect evidence on the already accomplished violations, it is suggested to use the developed algorithm of identification of economic crimes in the system of forensic audit.

The main problems, present in the system of accounting of logistic costs are defined as follows: absence of definition of logistic costs and their classification at the legislation level, also absence of recommendations regarding the methods of costing and organization at enterprise. The essence and existing approaches to classification of logistic costs for management purposes are analyzed. For the purpose of information support of managers of different levels, an analysis of scientific researches on reflection of costs of logistic activity of enterprise in the system of accounts of accounting is carried out. Popular methods of costs calculation are defined on the basis of the international practice, taking into view logistic strategy of enterprise. The authors consider the possibility to organize accounting of logistic costs in the context of responsibility centers at enterprises that would help to improve the system of accounting of logistic activity.

The article presents the results of research on the gold reserve of Ukraine and evaluation of its use as an instrument of financial policy of the State. The role and functions of gold in the country’s economy are defined. The dynamics of the gold reserve of Ukraine during the period of its independence is analyzed. For the purposes of forecasting of inflation and rate of the national currency in comparison with other currencies, the cyclical changes in dynamics of the gold reserve are allocated, going along in trend with cyclicity of the market economy and random fluctuations. The author compares the tendencies of change of the absolute size of GDP and the gold reserve of Ukraine, also the rates of their growth. The dynamics of the gold reserve of Ukraine is characterized in comparison with dynamics of the monetary base. The regression curve of deficit of the State budget of Ukraine and its gold reserve is built. The correlation coefficients between the price indices and the value of the gold reserve are calculated.

Using a functional approach to evaluate the institutional prerequisites for the financial stability of credit institutions, the following components are allocated: 1) conceptual substantiation of the process of ensuring the financial stability of credit Institutions; 2) normative and legal support of the process of ensuring the financial stability of credit institutions; 3) transparency of credit institutions; 4) protection of the rights of consumers of the financial services and credit institutions; 5) regulation and supervision of the activities of credit institutions. Each component contains a list of quantitative and qualitative indicators, the application of which allows to conduct a comprehensive diagnosis of the institutional environment of performance of credit institutions and make informed conclusions about their financial stability in the long term by identifying appropriate institutional threats.

The article is aimed at improving the scientific-methodical approach to the formation of the national credit scoring system, which, based on foreign experience, would take into view the features of activities of banking institutions in Ukraine. A generalization of researches has allowed to identify certain lacks of the available approaches to definition of credit scoring. It is proposed to consider credit scoring of a banking institution as an information system of interrelated elements (organizational structure, functional components, information database, and information technologies) and processes, from the phased analysis and integral assessment of the potential borrower to the decision as to provision (or rejection) of credit, formation of a package of relevant documents with subsequent support and forecasting the risks incluiding the failure to comply with credit obligations. The interrelationship between the elements of the information system of credit scoring allows to ensure the productivity and quality of work of the bank’s staff, improve the efficiency of managerial decisions on crediting, which will then optimize the volume of the credit portfolio while reducing costs.

The article is aimed at substantiating the approach to evaluating the structural configuration and identifying the features of building a corporate relations system in the context of the organizational development of joint stock company. The article is focused on generalization of theoretical positions and approaches to estimate the impact of information on public welfare. There are presented examples of the relationship between welfare and information, namely for the consumer and the manufacturer. There is emphasized that the relationship between welfare and information depends on the time of obtaining reliable information, which sometimes involves carrying out specialized research that is practically inaccessible to the average consumer, as well as its reliability. There is emphasized that the impact of information on welfare is determined in two dimensions: consumer expectations, as well as the degree of uncertainty for information. There is investigated the influence of advertising on welfare, the results of which concluded that information benefits increase with increasing scale of production, and as a consequence, a decrease in marginal costs. There is given a list of indicators that are most often used to assess the welfare. There is concluded that GDP per capita depends most strongly on the Government’s competitiveness index, moreover, the increase of this index per unit leads to an increase the GDP per capita by 18, 900 USD.

For harmonious formation of national economy we need the theoretical substantiation and practical mechanisms of institutional development of the human capital which will orient both business and authorities towards achievement and observance of the up-to-date rules and norms. The necessity to apply new instruments and practical mechanisms for institutional development of human capital have stipulated the article’s aim as formulation of the research program of the institutional system of human capital development. Methods of neo-institutionalism and the new institutional economy are used as a methodological basis for the development of problematics of the human capital formation. The institutional research program of the human capital development consists of a «solid core» – an aggregate of fundamental effective basic and hypothetical institutions, as well as newly formed and transforming institutions. The second component of the research program forms a «protective belt» that surrounds the «solid core» and consists of the auxiliary hypotheses modified in accordance with the needs of preserving the integrity and protection of the research program. The practical importance of the institutional research program of development of human capital be acquired in view of formation of an efficient mechanism for recovery of the national economy. In the further scientific researches it is expedient to develop effective ways of overcoming obstacles on a way to implementation of the developed program.

The peculiarity of the industry is its technological complexity, it forms a large value added, and uses innovative approaches. It is stated that the world market of services for maintenance and recovery of commercial aircrafts is actively developing, in particular due to: obsoletion and the need to replace many passenger models, converting obsolete models into freight aircrafts, need for more energy efficient aircraft models.

The publication is aimed at researching the directions of integration activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on the basis of analysis of its main documents and results of the activities of the member countries. The publication shows that nowadays new directions, projects and mechanisms for economic cooperation, having potential to influence the global economy, are being formed within the framework of the Organization. It is argued that the economic results of the SCO activities for the member countries are based, above all, on the great creative potential of economic self-sufficiency of the Organization due to the existence of a closed cycle of producers and consumers, which forms a huge reserve of its economic development as a whole and of each its individual member in particular. The conclusion is that the main economic performance of the member countries is related to trade, energy cooperation, creation of a favorable investment climate, regional division of labor. However, the uneven economic potential of the member countries creates imbalances and causes problems as a result of their raw material orientation, low financial strength, underdeveloped institutions of the modern market, as well as a result of the recent weakening of interest on the part of the leader of the Organization – China – to the narrow Eurasian cooperation.

The main obstacles constraining the small-sized business entities from taking credits are summarized in the publication. A research on the foreign experience of credit support of the small-sized business development is carried out according to the evaluation criteria from positions of definition of problem points of the small-sized business crediting in Ukraine. The share of short-term credits in the structure of the credit portfolio of the EU Member States is analyzed. The relevance of various types of credit services in the activities of the small-sized business entities of the EU-28 countries is defined. A comparison of indices of the credit reception both in Ukraine and abroad in 2018 is carried out. The article is aimed at researching the theoretical and practical approaches to the definition and formation of the tourism image of region; identifing the problems influencing formation of a positive image, and developing recommendations on improvement of tourism image in the context of attraction of investments. A theoretical generalization of approaches to defining the category of «image of region» is carried out; a number of factors that impact formation of the image of region is determined; it is proved that they can characterize the investment climate and influence the increase or, conversely, the decline in investment activity. It is substantiated that formation of the tourism image of the region is a pre-created image with the help of existing resources, which forms a positive attitude of consumer with the help of the formed sequential measures. The defining role of local authorities in formation of investment receipts in the region is determined. It is suggested to understand the investment attractive environment as the investment climate, i. e., the formed objective indicators that promote investment revenues and define the level of investor’s readiness for investment. According to the results of research directions of creation and maintenance of a positive tourism image of region in the context of attraction of internal and external investments are developed.

The current world-wide development of regionalism focuses on the scientific argumentation of the choice of methods and instruments for efficient management of region. During the reform of the decentralization of power in Ukraine such studies are necessary for exploration of practical application by regional authorities. The author used the the Grainger’s test to explore the existence of causal-consequential links between two groups of indicators of regional activity, both innovation and investment. According to the results of the test the division of regional indicators of these groups as to presence of a link: its direction (one-sided, inverse) and strength (strong, weak) is made. The Grainger’s test provides an opportunity to predict the interrelationship and interconnection for a period of up to three years, which can assist in shaping the region’s measures of impact on innovation and investment and managing the economy of region as a whole.

The article is aimed at researching the problems of capitalization of agrarian enterprises by means of the mortgage system of crediting of agrarian sector, developing scientific-practical recommendations to their solution. The article identifies leading role of the State in formation of mortgage relations, which consists in formation of infrastructure and resource potential of mortgage lending, and also subsidizing interest rates for mortgage credits. It is determined that for the development of mortgage relations in the national agrarian sector it is necessary to create an extensive infrastructure of the mortgage market, the constituent elements of which should be various financial and credit institutions engaged in mortgage lending upon the pledge of agricultural lands. The author substantiates the expediency of creation in Ukraine of an universal State land (mortgage) bank which, besides regulation of processes in the land market, would provide all spectrum of bank services for agrarian formations. The article is concerned with substantiating the innovation-technological provision for modernization of the priority branches of industry of Ukraine. It is defined that technological progress is one of the main factors of long-term growth. It is proved that one of its basic factors is the stable functioning of the industrial complex. It is defined that tendencies of development and structural changes of industrial complex of Ukraine do not correspond to those which are formed in the leading world countries that necessitates substantiation of directions of modernization of the priority branches of the country’s industry and the innovation-technological provision for these processes. It is identified that different definitions are used to characterize conceptions of the technologically innovative development, among which the «Industry 4.0» appears one of the most reasonable. Interpretations of the concept of «Industry 4.0» in the scientific literature and practice are analyzed, it is suggested to interpret it as the development and merging of automated production, data exchange and production technologies into a single self-regulating system, with or even without the minimal human intervention in the production process. The elaborations, constituting the basis of the conception of «Industry 4.0» together with components of its foundation are considered. It is proposed to allocate the following principles of the conception of «Industry 4.0»: digitalization, customization, intellectualization, automation, cyber-physicalization, miniaturization. It is defined that each of the principles is implemented through certain technologies; the information technology platform of the conception of «Industry 4.0» is formed, the basis of which are two integration systems: cyber-physical system and the industrial Internet of things. The distinguishing features of the traditional industrial enterprise and production within the framework of the conception of «Industry 4.0» are considered.

The analytical capabilities of a funds flow statement are significant and important, but are not used to the full extent. The statement reflects the impact of operating, investment and financial activities of enterprises on the status of its monetary assets and their equivalents during the reporting period of time and allows to explain the reasons of changes during this period. The policy of managing the balances of monetary assets should provide for cost-effective use. The movement of funds from operating activities can be carried out both by direct and indirect methods. The direct method allows to analyze and evaluate the directions of income and expenditure of money, trace the movement of funds as result of operating, investment and financial activities, to carry out analysis of the net cash flow and define its structure. The statement, drawn up indirectly, reflects the reasons for the change in balance of funds and their transformation into various forms of assets, and discloses the relation of profits with changes in circulating assets and current liabilities and reserves. Given the importance of cash, the different analytical value of the statements, compiled directly and indirectly, and with the purpose of an efficient comprehensive analysis of monetary flows for the effective managerial decision-making, it is suggested to compile the statement using both methods.

The publication is aimed at defining the regularities of enterprise development in conditions of integration tendencies and estimation of activity of integration processes in Ukraine. Based on the analysis of statistical data, comparison of the progress of processes of mergers and acquisitions in Ukraine and world-wide, the level of activity of integration processes in Ukraine is evaluated as low. It is determined that national enterprises prefer both control and acquisition of stocks (shares, interests), at the same time the activity of creating integration structures together with registration of a legal entity is minimal. Foreign investors and enterprises with participation of foreign investors actively participate in integration processes on the basis of concentration. The following regularity is determined: national enterprises prevail in view of the number of concluded deals, and foreign ones – in view of the value of concluded deals. The integration processes in Ukraine have a pronounced sectoral specialization. The difference of the Ukrainian market of mergers and acquisitions from the global trends lies in the active conclusion of deals in the agri-industrial complex. In Ukraine, vertical integration, integration of small and medium-sized enterprises is encouraged, while institutional limitations for concentration within horizontal integration are established as well.

The article is aimed at studying the peculiarities and key aspects of financial investigations of economic crimes, analyzing results of the conducted financial investigations and control-verification measures in Ukraine and its Western Region in particular, as well as defining prospects for establishment of the financial investigation service in Ukraine. The essentials of the concepts of «economic crimes» and «financial investigations» are considered. According to the analysis of financial investigations of economic crimes in Ukraine, it was found that in 2017 there was an increase in the number of economic crimes in the sphere of economic activity, directed to the Court of administrative Protocols concerning violation of the anti-corruption legislation, indictments on offences with signs of criminal corruption, as well as investigated cases of abuse of power or official position (criminal corruption). The main results of work by the territorial body of the Derzhaudytsluzhba in the Western Region, indicators of the control and inspection work of the Department of Tax and Customs Audit of the State fiscal service of Ukraine of the Western Region in 2015–2017, as well as the receipt of cases and materials to the local general courts of the Western Region during the period of 2016–2017 are analyzed. Prospects for further research are determining the ways of improving the efficiency of financial investigations by the State bodies, developing a mechanism for the financial Investigation service in Ukraine.

The necessity of using the indicator approach to evaluation of the financial security of banks is substantiated and its level is defined. On the basis of calculation of the integral indicator of financial security of the banking sector of Ukraine, some positive tendencies on increase of the financial security level of banks of Ukraine are indicated. It is specified that the evaluation instrumentarium should maximum take into view the realities of functioning of financial institutions, be available for use and be based on a set of indicators that have a clear quantitative dimension and are provided on the Web pages of specialized institutions for analysis not only by the internal, but the external users as well. Prospects for further research in this direction are development of an instrumentarium as to managerial decision-making and formation of an effective strategy to prevent risks, threats, and hazards. The article is concerned with the analysis of motivational basis of brand choice in the psycho-emotional context. It is defined that any human activity is conditioned by the presence of certain motives. In marketing, in the context of consumption, a motive is to meet the needs of consumers. This article presents a scheme of the motivational reinforcement of the fact of consumption and characterizes the patterns of consumer behavior in Ukraine: prevalence of consumption over accumulation; increased consumption of premium brands in the low-cost product groups; «anti-brand» moods; lack of prototypes and national advantages. It is clear that the choice associated with the price characteristic may be different, but it always fits into one of the following points: satisfies its own quality requests; demonstrates social status; corresponds to the wishes of relatives and friends; displays the level of material position. It is noted that from the psychological view the purchase of goods often occurs under the influence of factors of situational character. The levels of perception of brand are suggested as follows: cognitive (processing of input information); psychological (definition of own wishes and visualization of images); behavioral (translating internal processes into reality). The author defines the principles, relying on which, it is possible to explain behavior of consumers: principle of expected value; principle of discreetness; principle of fuzzy logic.

Based on the analysis of the scientific works of domestic and foreign researchers, the author’s own definition of quality of life is suggested as the subjective-objective measure of personal perception and satisfaction of the psycho-physiological and socio-economic aspects of human life. The data on the constituents of the Quality of Life Index in Ukraine, developed by the world database Numbeo, are systematized. Possible reasons of Ukraine’s backlog according to the indicators of the Quality of Life Index in comparison with neighboring countries are substantiated. The article is aimed at developing the applied aspects of methodical provision of substantiation of expediency of technology transfer by enterprises within terms of the chosen model of its management. Models of technology transfer are considered, a complex approach to the analytical component of the technology transfer management is proposed to be fulfilled through the construction of an integrated three-stage model. A methodical instrumentarium of substantiation of expediency of decision-making as to realization of transfer of technologies is formed. The authors prove the necessity to include in the model of diagnostics the possibility of technology transfer through the definition of technological proximity of enterprises – potential counterparties by means of a GAP analysis based on the results of technological audit. It is proposed to evaluate the technology subject to transfer with the help of the adapted TAME system taking into view the specifics, caused by combination of factors. The result of implementing the methodology is strengthening the diagnostic basis of the technology transfer process in the context of possibility, feasibility and efficiency of implementation of the process. The article analyzes the dynamics of the natural gas production in Ukraine for 2009–2018, carries out a fractal analysis of the time series of the natural gas production indicators. The mathematical model of the natural gas production in Ukraine is developed taking into view the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and parts of the territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions (with introduction of the correction coefficient). The long-term forecast of the natural gas production for 2019–2027 is accomplished using the Holt’s method – with the purpose of usage for managerial decision-making at all levels of power. The average absolute percentage error was 2,026%, which does not exceed 10%. This indicates a high accuracy of the forecast. The forecast of the natural gas production in Ukraine for 2019-2027, in the presence of the correction coefficient, is made without considering new investments and modern technologies. It is specified that in order to improve the natural gas production in Ukraine in 2019-2027, we need programs to support the development of the natural gas production at the State level; the State guarantees on projects, which envisage the introduction of new types of equipment and new low-waste, resource-saving technological processes used in the production of natural gas. Besides, it is necessary to create favorable investment climate that will attract funds of foreign investors from the world financial market for modernization of the natural gas industry in Ukraine.

The main aim of the publication is researching the activities of household sector in the overall economic structure of the State using the modern economic-mathematical methods and models of macroeconomic processes. The research showed that households’ expenditures have a significant impact on the aggregate output of products (AOP), especially for industries where their share is the largest. The results of a scenario modelling of the dependency of the AOP on households with regard to industries, using the cross-industry balance model, suggest that the proposed methodology can be used to plan and forecast economic growth in terms of development of scenarios of their impact on the overall economic result. It is determined that the main factor of adaptation of households in conditions of economic instability is small-sized entrepreneurship as a source of formation of incomes in the form of profit and mixed income. Ensuring this process is meant to increase the level of human capital by increasing consumer spending in the spheres of education and health.

The article is aimed at defining the agro-food market from the point of view of marketing, researching its development and the status of food supply in Ukraine, formulation of the modern marketing concepts of development of agro-food market. It is determined that in the agro-food market the offer for the main types of goods is realized by means of domestic production, while the demand is formed by internal and external buyers. It is substantiated that the modern concept of marketing (holistic marketing) of the agro-food market should be characterized by such constituent elements as: social responsibility, «green marketing», marketing of partner relationships, integratedness of marketing activities, and should bring significant benefits to consumers, society, and the partners of market entities. Ensuring the sufficient level of economic security of activities of transport enterprises in market conditions is one of the main tasks of management because the efficiency of enterprises’ performance is dependant upon. In the article, on the basis of analysis of scientific sources, is defined that the the complex (integral) approach is most widespread in terms of determination of the level of economic security of enterprise. The article proposes a methodical approach to determination of the level of counteraction to threats towards economic security of transport enterprises on the basis of integral assessment. A sequence and a system of indicators of assessment of the economic security level of transport enterprise are elaborated according to the types of threats. Concerning the results of the carried out expert survey, the integral index of the level of economic security of transport enterprises is suggested, calculated for three transport enterprises, selected for the research. The results of calculation of the integral index of economic security for the researched transport enterprises allowed to define the list of priority measures as to ensuring the target level of economic security. Application of the suggested integrated assessment will allow a transport enterprise to ensure the adoption of efficient management decisions aimed at minimization or avoiding the impact of threats on its activities, and therefore, achieving a high level of its economic security.

The article is aimed at researching approaches to the formation and disclosure of intellectual capital information in the reporting of enterprises. The essence of intellectual capital is researched, its basic characteristics are provided. The approaches to structuring intellectual capital are analyzed and its structure, consisting of the elements of human, structural and socio-reputation capital, is proposed for application in the accounting and reporting systems. The basic elements of the intellectual capital components are defined for their reflection in reporting by means of the system of corresponding indicators. The approaches to formation and disclosure of information on intellectual capital in the reporting of enterprises are researched and generalized. The article provides methodical recommendations for determining the stability of the process of bank crediting on the basis of the definition of stability of time series according to the Foster-Stuart criterion, allowing for comprehensive analyzing of stability of banking institutions and for timely responding to both globalization and internal challenges. The proposed recommendations for determining the stability of the process of bank crediting creates an opportunity to consider statistically substantiated the conclusion that during the period of 2016–2018 this process was precarious. As for the time series of indicators defining the status change of banking system, the authors suggest to consider the characterization of its stability as multiple-criteria. Stability of the economic process is defined as an aggregate of indicators: average value of number of observations; mean root square deviation of number of observations; coefficient of variation of number of observations; relative magnitude of number of observations; average absolute growth at the i-m interval. Focusing on the specific problematic factors distorts the accuracy of analysis, therefore, all factors should be considered in an integrated manner. The developed methodology provides the possibility to predict development and level out the impact of negative factors, to make efficient decisions on regulation of financial system.

In modern conditions, one of the most significant elements of the State’s economic policy is the management of government debt. Deepening of fiscal imbalances and growth of debt load in the post-crisis period update the need to explore ways to ensure the debt sustainability of Ukraine’s economy. The current structure of borrowings can be characterized as an active growth of external borrowings with relative stability of internal domestic debt. The article is aimed at studying the economic consequences of government debt in Ukraine and ways to improve the debt management. The dynamics and structure of the status of the debt government of Ukraine are analyzed; macroeconomic and budgetary factors influencing its growth are allocated; recommendations on improvement of debt policy for increase of debt security level of Ukraine, stabilization of public finances, ensuring stable social and economic development of Ukraine are given. The article is aimed at researching the mechanism of function of the most popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin and some types of Altcoins. When comparing electronic money and cryptocurrency it is determined that the only common feature is their digital appearance. Electronic money, unlike cryptocurrency, have legal status, statutory issuer, fixed offer, they are regulated by the State and are supervised. The digital currency, in turn, does not have a clearly expressed issuer, is produced by mining, the legal status is not defined in many countries. Today, cryptocurrency uses many different algorithms, such as SHA-256, Scrypt, X11, X13, Cryptonight and others, numbering more than 29 species altogether. Most Altcoins (alternative digital currencies) are only a variation of Bitcoin. When analyzing the demand and supply of cryptocurrencies is determined that the total capitalization of this market at the beginning of 2019 was 134 billion dollars, and the types of digital currency numbered more than 2000. The article analyzes the mechanism of function of the five most popular cryptographic currencies: Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and the first Ukrainian cryptocurrency – Karbo. It is determined that cryptocurrency develops and does not require the State’s permission as to its emission or legalization – it exists outside the jurisdiction both in Ukraine and in most world countries.

Social media is gaining widespread popularity in the context of the rapid development of innovative technologies. Today, many business organizations use social media to communicate with their users. Social media helps business organizations improve their brands and stay where the user is – on the social networks. The article is aimed at theoretical substantiation of the content of the concept of «social media», disclosing their essence and functions, defining the theoretical basis for a statistical study of them in order to ensure possible further use for business development. To achieve the aim, various sources of information were analyzed and the history of social media development was considered. It is defined that social media depends on the use of Internet or Internet technologies. The article allocates the main components of social media, i.e., web forums, podcasts, blogs and micro-blogs, social networks, and provides the respective definitions. The main functional features of social media are considered, which are: identification, presence, conversations, relationships, groups, reputation and exchange. Since a significant proportion of the time spent by users on the Internet constitutes the time spent on social networks, the author defines the social networks that are most popular in Ukraine. On the example of the social network Facebook, which became the leader of the ranking, the main marketing functions offered by means of social media were researched. Among the main functions are: live video, «Sell something» function, survey creation, and publication planning. The analytics on the use of video advertising on the pages of the social network Facebook is considered. It is defined that the main advertisers in Ukraine, using this social network to display video ads, are on-line stores such as Rozetka, Allo and Fotos.

The article is aimed at researching the intellectualization of capital in terms of its influence on the strengthening of competitive position of international companies in the post-industrial economy. A systematization of scientific works in the research area has shown that in the context of the knowledge economy, traditional factors of creating competitive advantages, in particular material resources, lose their importance. At a time when knowledge and information are the engine of development, success is achieved by companies that manage to make full use of them in order to obtain competitive advantages both in domestic and international markets. Now the market value of some international companies, whose competitive advantages are based on intangible assets, is almost 6 times their book value. In this context, the formation of modern approaches to the management of intellectual capital takes place in the post-industrial era, when the precondition for the development of society and companies is the efficiency of use of intangible assets. It is substantiated that the management of intellectual capital from the point of view of the international company’s activities is distinguished by a certain specificity and differentiation of the contribution of its various components to increasing the level of capitalization of the company. The competitiveness of an international company in a post-industrial economy is determined by a wide range of criteria, including: activization of innovation activity; active commercialization of the structural elements of intellectual capital; protecting the company’s intellectual capital; use of the legally constituted means to enshrine exclusive rights to creative and intellectual work; allocation of the intellectual capital management process as a self-functioning subsystem.

The article is aimed at defining the current status and prospects for attracting foreign direct investment in the Chinese economy. The dynamics of China’s inflow and outflow of foreign direct investment are provided, the main countries investing in the Chinese economy are specified. It is determined that the amount of foreign direct investment in the Chinese economy has been increasing annually during the researched period. This is facilitated by the openness of the economy, the rapid development of the high-tech sector, liberalization, creation of free trade zones. The legal regulation of investment activities and attracting foreign capital to PRC is considered. The government’s favorable tax policy, including the preferential regime of special economic zones, has been defined as an important factor in increasing the PRC investment attractiveness (out of 5400 special economic zones in the world more than 4000 are in Asian developing countries, and China holds the largest number of them – more than 2500). China’s positions in investment attractiveness ratings, such as the rating of ease in doing business, the index of economic freedom, the index of regulatory restrictions for foreign direct investment, the index of investor confidence, are analyzed. The relationship between China’s GDP and the inflow of foreign direct investment into China has been defined using correlation analysis. The results of the calculation showed that the correlation ratio is 0,54, which indicates that there is but a weak link between the indicators researched. The main advantages and risks of China’s investment climate are systematized. It is determined that, despite China’s significant investment attractiveness, there are many investment risks, but the Chinese government continues reforms directed towards improving the investment climate of the country.

The article analyzes the current features of development of the Great Britain’s economy in the context of membership in the European Union. The country’s positions both in the world and in the integration grouping are disclosed in terms of the economy size, the volume of foreign economic relations, and the degree of development of national production. The structure of the economy and the leading industries in the United Kingdom are characterized. The dynamics and current status of the min macroeconomic indicators of Great Britain are analyzed. The general economic and institutional-economic reasons for the vote to leave the European Union are considered. Options for transforming the relationship between Great Britain and the European Union are described, including: a hard Brexit (Great Britain’s exit from the common market and the development of trade relations with the EU under WTO rules) and a soft Brexit (conclusion of agreement with the EU and development of further relations in the format of a free trade zone, customs union or common market). The expected positive and negative consequences, opportunities and threats of the Great Britain’s exit from the EU are covered. In general, in view of the increased risk of the spread of disintegration trends in the world, it is suggested that this complex phenomenon requires further research.

The essence of the concept of «external debt» is considered, statistics on the volume of government borrowings in the foreign countries are analyzed, and ways of improving the mechanism of management of Ukraine’s external public debt are proposed. Key priorities for applying foreign experience to stimulate economic growth in Ukraine have been defined. The main regulatory changes are considered, in particular changes to the Budget Code, which provide for the creation of the Debt Agency of Ukraine, with the following tasks: management of public debt and the risks associated with it; implementation of public internal and external borrowings; other tasks that would come under its jurisdiction. Prospects for further research in this direction is the improvement of the regulatory framework governing the debt policy in Ukraine and the implementation of a holistic strategy for managing the external public debt.

The positions of education (universities) in the NIS subsystems are characterized. The presence of education in various functional blocks as well as in basic processes is displayed. The role of education in the NIS is also disclosed in the allocation of functions. Intensification of management of the economic behavior of enterprise in competitive markets is formed by means of certain instruments, methods and levers that interact with each other and constitute a holistic formation, produce an economic effect. Methods of measuring the intensification of management system of the enterprise’s economic behavior are proposed to be applied as most socio-economic indicators, formed under the influence of many factors rather than one. A model of correlation-regression analysis has been proposed, based on a group of factor indicators, namely: production costs; volume of products produced; value added by production costs; capital investment in the enterprise; number of enterprises in the industry. The findings of the research are that the greatest impact is the value-added indicator related to production costs. Measures to intensification of enterprise in competitive markets have been proposed. The main conditions for the successful implementation of the intensification of enterprise management in competitive markets have been defined through: improving the use of all types of resources and predicting the possibilities for their replacement with better ones; intensification of the introduction of innovative models for the formation of organizational behavior of enterprise in competitive markets; improving organization of production to identify bottlenecks and identify reserves; introduction of a system of measures to improve managerial decision-making based on the introduction of information technologies inherent in the digital economy.

The article is aimed at exploring the features of development of regional transport markets. Based on the carried out analysis, the approach to the distribution of regions of Ukraine by the level of development of these markets was considered. The main methods of analysis were the statistical method, the methods of cluster analysis of k-averages and the Ward method. As a result of the study, it was substantiated that the indicator, which provides an opportunity to allocate certain groups by the level of development, is the freight turnover of transport enterprises in the regions. On the basis of this, three groups of regions of Ukraine were allocated in terms of the level of development of regional freight transport markets: regions with consistently high levels of freight transport turnover; regions with consistently average levels; regions with consistently low levels. It is defined that the stable growth of freight turnover over a long period is a feature of regions with a high level of development of regional transport markets. For the regions that are part of the group with a stable average level of development, the feature is a stable dynamics of development without significant changes over a long period. A feature of the development of regional freight transport markets in the group of regions with consistently low levels is the dynamics of freight turnover, which is characterized by the absence of significant changes throughout the researched period. Prospect for further research in this direction is to predict the development of freight transport markets, taking into account the characteristics of each group of regions, which will constitute the basis for the further formation of long-term market development strategies as part of the regional program of transport infrastructure development.

Exploring the rural development issues, given their direct impact on the administrative, territorial and socio-economic indicators of the development of communities, regions and the country as a whole, is becoming more and more relevant in the course of implementation of provisions of the reform of local government and the territorial organization of power in Ukraine. Rural territories provide a significant contribution to the economy, cause influence on the national food security, form an essential part of the country’s export potential. Newly created communities, especially in rural areas, have inherited a significant number of local problems, including poor economic development, inadequate quality of infrastructure, lack of free access to modern public services in almost all vital social spheres (education, health, transport, communications, finance, etc.). Existing problems of self-fulfillment and decent labor remuneration, first of all in the productive sphere, cause the outflow of the economically active population, especially young people, in search of work and better living conditions, characterize the high level of the current unemployment and the continuing ageing of the rural population, which as a result exacerbates social and economic problems in society. It is noted that regional industrial complexes are in poor condition nowadays and require the renewal and modernization of fixed assets, efficient use of all available production resources and integrated use of the production and management potential of the enterprises. The main approaches to formation of the potential of industrial enterprise are considered and allocated, which are related to its functional structure and ensuring the creation and organization of a system of resources and capabilities that would enable to achieve a variety of the enterprise’s goals as a result of their interaction. Approaches that are unambiguous in the allocation of resource and target aspects in determination of potential, depending on historical stages in management, are considered. However, other factors in the interpretation of the potential of industrial enterprise must also be taken into account today. The mentioned approaches, from the management point of view, allow to disclose the instrumentarium of ensuring the efficiency of development of the regional economic systems of more qualitative basis. Despite the diversity of interpretations, common features are allocated, which is represented by the most of approaches. It is noted that the allocated factors and conditions for building and further implementation of the potential of industrial enterprises of region differ in their impact on the potential of business entities. It is concluded that, taking into account the conditions of the external environment, as well as the influence of its respective factors, on the potential of the enterprise, it is possible not only to predict possible fluctuations of separate (functional) potential opportunities, but also to develop and implement the necessary measures to adjust this influence on operating systems in order to achieve the intended goal.

The article is aimed at studying the current status and major tendencies in the functioning of food industry in Kherson region, to form strategic development guidelines and to ensure competitiveness in the conditions of an unstable external environment. It is determined that the food industry is a strategically important industry sector in the agro-industrial complex of Kherson region. The region’s food industry enterprises have a fairly wide specialization and provide the population with a wide range of products such as meat, dairy, flour and cereals, bakery, etc. The dynamics of the main indicators of development of the food industry in Kherson region during 2010-2017 were analyzed. Despite the priority of the industry in the region, the deterioration of the main indicators of development of the food industry in Kherson region continues, which is associated with increased competition in the foreign food market, severization of requirements to their quality characteristics, low per capita income. The contribution of food industry enterprises to the Kherson region industry in terms of sales volumes, exports, capital investments, foreign direct investment and the number of employees is considered. Using the SWOT analysis, essence of the strategic guidelines for the development of Kherson region food industry has been identified, considering the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the industry in the context of sustainable development of the State’s economy.

The article explores the status and major trends in the development of container shipping traffic in the world; analyzes the dynamics and structure of container shipping traffic by regions of the world, the largest of which is Asia; determines the dynamics of container freight flows, allocating 20 cities with the largest container freight turnover; defines the role of container shipping in the development of global maritime trade. It is determined that the processing of container freight flows remains concentrated in large ports. The total capacity of the world’s 20 largest ports is growing and makes 347,8 million TEU in 2018. Shanghai remains the most powerful container port in the world, the largest growth is observed in Singapore. Only five ports outside Asia are represented among the top 20 container ports, namely Antwerp, Hamburg, Los Angeles, Long Beach and Rotterdam. Further development of container traffic from China is expected, which in turn may lead to a reduction in volumes and freight flows on the Trans-Pacific route. In the container shipments by sea, there are tendencies to form alliances between terminal operators, line companies for joint operation of berths, which puts new requirements for adaptation and technical equipment of ports. Vertical integration and further expansion of transport lines in terminal operations increases competition between carriers. It is determined that the development of container shipping is facilitated by the growth of economic activity world-wide, restructuring of supply chain in favor of large ships and carrier alliances, digitalization and modernization of transport infrastructure, the newest shipbuilding, economic integration and informatization.

The article is aimed at defining the essence and substantiating the criteria for evaluation of the planning system at trading enterprise. According to the results of the generalization of scientific publications, the trading enterprise’s planning system is defined by a set of the following elements: subject, object, planning instruments, and architecture of plans. To evaluate the planning system, it is proposed to use the criteria of quality and compliance of the planning with the system of management at trading enterprise. Taking into account the elemental composition and the criteria developed, a set of single and integrated indicators of evaluation of the trading enterprise’s planning system is substantiated, which includes the following indicators: adequacy and the level of training of staff as to the planned work; completeness and timeliness of planning the activity of trading enterprise according to the key elements of the business model; completeness of information in terms of the main types of accounting and use of corporate information systems, the complexity of plans and the level of their implementation in activities; ratio of the centralization of planning and the management at enterprise. Prospect for further research in this direction is an analysis of the efficiency of introduction of corporate information systems in the activities of trading enterprises.

The article considers the basic methodical principles of the monitoring of labor market in the conditions of systemic transformations. It is defined that by means of monitoring the government authorities are able to adjust their actions to reduce negative influences on the labor market. It is defined that the Ukrainian labor market begins to look like the Brownian movement: enterprises are forced to curtail production, reduce sales, save and, as a result, freeze vacancies, lay off staff. The carried out monitoring identified the riskiest industries in terms of balancing supply and demand. The industries, which delay wages and reduce its level, stop paying bonuses, suspend the opening of new offices of companies and recruitment of staff, are allocated. It is determined that, despite high social benefits for the unemployed, the power of European countries in various ways stimulates the creation of new jobs and the preservation of old ones. The directions to increase the objectivity of the analysis and forecast of the situation in the labor market in connection with the persistence of the consequences of the crisis developments are defined. It is determined that it is appropriate to monitor the implementation of activities of Ukrainian subjects to promote employment and reduce tension in the labor market – in terms of employment and forecasted distribution of graduates of educational institutions at all levels through employment channels, including those registered as unemployed. The principles allowing to form an efficient system of monitoring the labor market have been allocated. It is defined that the result of monitoring is obtaining the information necessary to make managerial decisions on policy formation in the sphere of employment. An algorithm for monitoring the employment sector in the labor market in Ukraine has been proposed. It is defined that use of multidimensional comparative analysis, in particular the method of taxonometrics, is feasible in building an integral indicator. It is determined that the resulting system of quantitative assessments of the level of employment of the population sets the task of their qualitative interpretation, one of the ways of solving which is the application of desirability functions. Based on the carried out calculations, it is determined that the social indicator had the greatest impact on the employment rate. On the basis of monitoring, the main factors influencing the formation of the labor market in Ukraine are allocated. In developing ways to increase employment of the population, regulating these factors should be considered as a priority. It is proved that monitoring is appropriate to carry out according to the proposed indicators, as they have the greatest impact on the employment rate of the population.

The functional features of logistic activities of machine-building enterprises are defined on the basis of identification of factors influencing the efficiency of logistic activities and the criteria for evaluating the level of introduction of logistics. It is noted that the essence of the problem of introducing logistic activities into the practice of machine-building enterprises is that today’s manufacturers of machine-building products have almost no proper theoretical basis and practical experience in the use of the logistic system (in order to optimize costs and manage material, financial and information flows) by integrating individual parts of the logistic process into an efficient system and accounting the functional features of the logistic activities of machine-building enterprises. It is noted that the logistic system is an adaptive and feedback-enabled system that performs certain logistical functions. It usually consists of several subsystems and has well-developed links with the external environment. The application of logistic system in the enterprises of machine-building complex will allow to integrate all the processes of the enterprise with minimal costs, while optimally adapting production processes to the external environment factors. Based on a carried out study to determine the functional features of the logistic activities of machine-building enterprises, on the basis of identification of factors influencing the efficiency of logistic activities and criteria for evaluating the level of introduction of logistics, it is concluded that the main direction of improving the efficiency of logistic activities of machine-building enterprises is to use a systematic approach to the introduction of logistics in the production and economic activities of machine-building enterprises based on the use of a complex of logistic subsystems.

The article is aimed at forming a system of key indicators of activity in evaluating the optimal level of security of industrial enterprise through the balance of statics and dynamics. It is defined that in order to obtain the optimal level of security of the industrial enterprise development, it is necessary to achieve a balance of the factors wth both static and dynamic nature of action. Moreover, the dynamic status provides two possibilities: to cover statics and characterize the transformation of the totality of all economic systems, which are not static, for a certain time. In the course of the research, considering the experience of scholars on the general economic theory, the choice of static indicators within the activities of a separate industrial enterprise is substantiated, which can include the following: value of non-current assets, including average fixed assets value and depreciation; number of production staff with a fixed salary level; constant part of the cost of sold products; amount and value of equity capital. As a result of production, investment, innovation, financial and management activities, static indicators, which are basic, are transforming into indicators of dynamics that characterize the enterprise’s activities over a certain time along with change of the positive or negative nature of its development. The level of security of industrial enterprise can be evaluated by an integral indicator, which takes into account the specific characteristics of the enterprise and the limitedness of the resources available.

The article is aimed at defining the potential benefits of using blockchain technology in logistics and possible scenarios for their use in the information provision of logistic services. It is defined that the introduction of blockchain technology in logistics makes it possible to store data in the necessary amount, to protect documents from fraudsters, to prevent the possibility of changing digital information about the transportation process. This system can definitely reduce the costs of suppliers for delivery and the likelihood of actions of fraudsters, while preserving the financial resources of all participants in logistic processes. At the same time, identifying the potential benefits of introducing blockchain technology into logistics is defined by using a structure that outlines the impact of this introduction on the organizational structures and processes. In the first phase, the attributes of the innovation structure need to be applied to determine possible uses in accordance with five innovative characteristics: relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, opportunity of test and observability, thus providing a theoretical basis for classifying the relevant supplements. The second phase presents an additional structure, wherein four different stages of transformation are allocated. This structure will help logistics managers better understand various aspects of the blockchain problems, such as the desirable or even necessary level of cooperation and consensus, as well as legislative and regulatory hurdles.

The article is aimed at substantiating the organizational model of auditing the enterprise’s costs. In order to achieve this goal, the following tasks have been solved: the concept of «operating costs» has been defined; the essence of auditing the enterprise’s operating costs is outlined; a model of auditing the enterprise’s costs has been developed. Based on the analysis of existing developments in the audit of the enterprise’s costs, the lack of a comprehensive research on this issue is determined, while single publications and the lack of a clear organizational scheme lead to insufficient spread of audit of operating costs among users of audit information. The article substantiates and develops an organizational model of auditing the enterprise’s operating costs, which is considered in the context of the process-system approach. This model is represented by a complex of successive, mutually conditioned stages, which, on the one hand, allow to form a reliable audit opinion, and on the other - meet the criteria of expediency and validity. On the basis of generalizations of the follow-up revisions by leading scholars and practitioners, the traditional composition of the stages and phases of the audit survey of the enterprise’s costs was supplemented. Further research will develop a noncontinuous approach to planning the audit of the enterprise’s costs.

The article is aimed at examining the theoretic-methodical basics of accountance and control at construction enterprises. It is proved that the organization of accountance for construction and installation works directly depends on the features of construction production. It is substantiated that the construction is characterized by a number of specific features that determine the order of organizing its accountance and control. It is defined that natural factors have a significant impact on the construction process more than in other industries. In construction, individual performance of works by individual workers is practically excluded, which means that brigade forms of labor organization are used generally. It is defined that the peculiarity of accountance in construction production is that construction can be carried out in contract, economic or mixed ways. Construction products are accounted at an estimated cost and at the actual cost. It is proved that only accountance personnel are not enough to carry out construction and installation works, so a number of narrow-qualified specialists take part in the accountance and control of the completed construction works. The most important directions of organization of accountance and control of construction enterprises have been defined. The organizational-methodical basics of accountance and control in construction enterprises have been generalized and systematized. It is proposed to indicate the costs in the analytical accountance terms by individual positions and to group according to the main directions of works. Problems have been defined and directions for improving the organization of accountance and control of construction and installation works have been proposed.

The article is aimed at studying the current tendencies in the development of structural components of Ukraine’s financial security in the context of modern transformations characterized by certain positive developments that lead to an increase in the country’s financial security. The budget security, debt security, currency and money-and-credit security of Ukraine are thoroughly considered and analyzed in detail. It is noted that the ability of the State to implement financial policies on its own in accordance with national interests is at the heart of the financial security of the State and is especially exacerbated in the context of globalization processes. Since the globalization process has a dual impact on the development of the financial system, the article especially focuses on studying the tendencies of the components of the country’s financial security at the current stage of development. The need to create a new law enforcement agency, which will implement the State policy on prevention, detection, suppression, investigation and disclosure of criminal crimes in the sphere of finance, i.e., help to eliminate systemic threats in the public finances sphere, is substantiated. The article is aimed at researching the country’s macro-financial indicators as an instrument to inform about changes in the development of its economic and financial spheres. The need for macro-financial indicators at all stages of management is substantiated. The sequence of use of results of macro-financial indicators analysis in the implementation of the country’s financial policy strategy is visually presented. Monitoring of indicators in the course of management process should take place at least twice: in the process of estimating the situation to form an action plan and in evaluating the impact of implementing these activities. A systemization of macro-financial indicators in accordance with the following subgroups is proposed: stability, security, efficiency. Attention is paid to the specifics of filling each of the groups of macro-financial indicators in accordance with specific characteristics and functional purpose for the economic and financial system. The allocation of the first group is conditioned by the need to define the amount of the country’s financial resources, on the basis of which public finance funds are formed, which are directly dependent on the stability of income base of the State budget and the monetary stability in general. The allocation of the second group provides an opportunity to evaluate the efficiency of management in terms of distribution and redistribution of the public finance funds. The classification group of the macro-financial security indicators includes indicators of budget security and debt security. A list of macro-financial indicators within each of these groups is provided. The selection is based on the recommendations of the effective and actual methodology for calculating the economic and financial security of the country. The classification is based on the main goals of sustainable development, based on empirical indicators of the methodology and the sustainable growth of the country’s GDP.

Tax revenues are one of the main sources of formation of budget revenues, while direct taxes are always playing the important role. In the structure of tax revenues of Ukraine, such taxes are smaller in amount than indirect ones, but they are considered the most fair, because they allow to shift the main tax burden on the wealthier segments of the population, having a direct dependence on the level of the payer’s income. The use of direct taxes is one of the economical methods of management and ensuring the relationship of national interests with the interests of economic entities and the population, but the low level of tax culture, imperfection of fiscal legislation and a tax mechanism not tuned up reduce revenues to an already scarce budget. Therefore, taking into account today’s realities, the problem of building a perfect and efficient system of direct taxation becomes especially urgent. The article is aimed at analyzing direct taxes, their role in the formation of budget revenues, as well as defining shortcomings and ways to improve direct taxation in Ukraine. The dynamics of receipts of major direct taxes to the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine are analyzed. The problems and shortcomings of individual budget-forming taxes are allocated. The relevance of direct tax reform is substantiated. The authors recommend ways to improve the direct tax system with regard to: the institutional taxation environment; eliminating inaccuracies in the algorithms of defining tax base; introducing a complex progression in the taxation of personal income; minimizing tax preferences; gradual reduction of the tax burden on the country’s economy; improving the fiscal efficiency of taxes by expanding the tax base, abolishing conventions on avoiding double taxation with offshore zones; improving the system of administration; reforming the State tax service and so on.

The current tendencies in the use of credit instruments to counter environmental risks are considered. The authors also consider the process of trading CO2 emissions certificates (emissions trading system). One of the main instruments of «green» financing – «green» credit – has been researched. The essence of the emissions trading system, carbon credit, «green» bonds and «green» certificates is considered. The need to use «green» certificates and «green» bonds in Ukraine is discovered. The bond market and the value of «green» bonds in the world are analyzed. A number of advantages and risks of the introduction of «green» bonds in Ukraine is defined. Measures to popularize credit instruments in Ukraine are proposed. The article is aimed at a comparative analysis of different methods of assessing the level of financial security of enterprise, defining their advantages and disadvantages, as well as substantiation of the choice of the most optimal and acceptable for a particular enterprise methods to assess the level of its financial security. Consideration of different methods for assessing the financial security of an economic entity based on the use of financial coefficients helped to divide them into indicator and integral ones (including the models using integrated assessments and bankruptcy forecasting models) and to identify their advantages and disadvantages. Practical application of these methodologies on the basis of a particular enterprise allowed to detect their problematic aspects in the context of both the composition of indicators (coefficients) and their number, and the interpretation of the results of calculations, which were conducted in accordance with these methods. It is proved that under certain conditions of operation of national enterprises, certain methods are unacceptable for use, as they are based on insufficient financial information. The feasibility of assessing the financial security of enterprise in the short and long term is substantiated, correspondingly varying the composition and number of financial indicators used for such an assessment. Prospects for further research are seen in the development of a universal methodology for assessing the financial security of enterprise, which would ensure the simplicity of calculations, complete accounting of the input information flow, high reliability of the results obtained.

The purpose of the article is the development of recommendations for the business maturity determination and measurement in the implementation of the agile approach for high-tech companies. Methods of analysis of documents, observation, personal and in-depth interviews, case studies have been used in the research. The findings of the research: Business Agility Journey has been suggested for defining the state of the maturity of the company and conducting express diagnostics of agility. Agile Project Management Journey has been developed for the identification of weaknesses by the companies in the path to agility, as well as for the determination of events for the transition from the traditional to the agile approach. Personal Agility Checklist has been designed for testing the soft skills of employees for the presence of the agile mindset. Research limitations include the study of the maturity of companies in the IT industry. Practical implications are based on the use of suggested Agility Journeys in defining the state of maturity and main problems on the transition path. Also, Personal Agility Checklist will help to check the agility of the future employees. The originality of the article is based on the uniqueness of the Agility Journey that has been developed for the first time. Further research on this topic should be focused on the development of an agile mindset as a prerequisite for the provision of agility in the company.

The article defines that one of the promising directions of ensuring the successful functioning of enterprise in the financial, production and social environment is the introduction of the integrated management systems that combine in themselves two or three or more international standards. It is defined that in the context of implementation of the integrated management system there are issues about evaluation of the level of performance of the system’s operation. The complexity of this issue is due to the multidimensionality and multi-levelity of such an evaluation. It is proved that for a pharmaceutical enterprise, the evaluation of the performance of the entire integrated management system should be based on the evaluation of all constituent systems, i.e.: systems to ensure the quality and safety of manufactured medicines (GMP industry rules), quality management systems (international standard ISO 9001:2015) and social responsibility systems (international standard ISO 26000:2010). On this basis, a generalized evaluation system consisting of seven stages is proposed. In the initial stages, the criteria and indicators for their evaluation are defined according to each management system. The formulas for calculating the level of performance of each management system and the overall level of performance of the entire integrated management system are provided. To ensure a qualitative interpretation of the resulting values, a scale has been proposed that reflects the level of stability of the entire integrated management system.

A classification of competitiveness on certain attributes is provided. The components of the external and internal environment of the organization that influences its competitiveness are defined. Endogenous reasons for low competition of national organizations are noted. It is noted that in the absence of an efficient competitive environment and the establishment of civilized market relations, domestic enterprises and organizations do not use most common ways of gaining competitive advantages. Evidence of this is, for example, significant technological backwardness and low innovation activity of Ukrainian producers. Another cause is the self-removal of the State from the proper functions to create favorable conditions for the development of business environment and the poor quality of the State institutions. It is concluded that the analysis of external and internal factors influencing the management of the organization’s competitiveness provides an opportunity to reduce the level of uncertainty and risk in the process of production and economic activities of enterprise, increase the the quality of strategic planning and forecasting of its activities, increase the level of competitiveness of the enterprise and its products, maintain a competitive position and increase the market share owned by the enterprise.

The theoretical aspects of project risk management in IT companies are generalized. It is noted that the development of the IT industry stimulates the development of national information infrastructure in accordance with the requirements of the world’s leading economies, which have reached the level of V and VI technological modes. Today, it uses modern management technologies to succeed as IT companies. In terms of project management, one of the main challenges facing companies is project risk management, which becomes a very serious obstacle to the successful completion of a project and is assessed using the following indicators: probability of a risk event, the sum of damage (gravity). It is obvious that the presence of risks is present at all stages of the project activity. In this regard, the instrumentarium for project risk management must be constantly improved. Existing definitions of «risk» and «project risk» are generalized and systematized. It is noted that the process of defining, identifying and eliminating risks in IT companies should be constantly monitored and be continuous throughout the life of a project. Risks in the implementation of project may change; they may disappear or take other forms; new types of risks can be discovered. That is, as the project progresses, all risks must be identified, evaluated and eliminated or defeated. It is noted that when modern IT companies develop several projects at the same time, project risk management is becoming complicated and requires the use of more adapted modern risk management instruments. It is indicated that the project activity has always been accompanied by many types of risks, so the choice of risk management method depends on the overall purpose and policy of the company’s management, its financial condition, the status of the company’s risk management and its position in the market of IT industry.

The principles of social responsibility of economic entities and their marketing at machine-building enterprise are considered, their role in the formation of the enterprise’s costs and profits is displayed. It is determined that the basis of compliance with the principles of socially responsible marketing of machine-building enterprise is to ensure the necessary quality of the produced products by strictly fulfilling technical and other requirements, both from the customer and from the regulatory framework. It is proposed to evaluate the quality of produced products using the indicator of quality of products, which covers the ranges of «quality products» and «non-quality products». It is demonstrated that it is possible to gain the biggest profit, ensuring that the principles of socially responsible marketing are respected, when the boundary value of the quality indicator of produced products is achieved in the range of «quality products». In this case, production costs are the lowest and productivity is the highest. On this basis, the author substantiates the expediency for machine-building enterprises in Ukraine to apply new technological and engineering solutions together with modern production equipment. This will provide for making of high-quality competitive products with a significant increase in the productivity and profits of enterprise. Thus, using the principles of socially responsible marketing as a limiting factor as to the quality of produced products, the company is able to provide the maximum level of profit by increasing its competitiveness, achieve an increase in its market share, as well as enter new foreign markets.

The article is aimed at generalizing the theoretical foundations of SMM as modern marketing technologies. The article explores the essence of the concept of «social media marketing» (SMM). It is found out that SMM existed as a part of marketing long before the advent of social media and the Internet. The SMM marketing forms such as social networks, blogs and micro-blogs, forums, social bookmarks and catalogs, photo hosting and video hosting, virtual and multi-player on-line games are considered. The main features of SMM-promotion are examined and it is discovered that the widespread use of social networks in society allows to confidently talk about the emergence of a new way to attract customers in any domestic market. The advantages and drawbacks of SMM are analyzed. One of the main advantages of SMM is the analysis of the study on demand and consumer motivations in the market carried out by marketers. The main drawback is the risk of losing the commitment of customers because of incorrect actions in communications. The need of consumers and businesses in SMM has been researched. Data on the most popular social networks in Ukraine are provided. A number of instruments for activities on various social networks are allocated, which result in promotion of brands, creation of groups of the consumers of certain productions, the audience Internet users is being increased and retained. Thus, the reasons for use of promotion in Facebook, together with its features and methods, are considered. The benefits of usage and the components of the promotion strategy on Instagram are researched, and the main methods of promotion on Instagram are provided. The services for self-promotion on Twitter and LinkedIn are examined. The main tasks and opportunities for promotion on Tеlеgram are described. It is defined that the correct use of social networks increases brand awareness, creates constant contact with the audience, provides prompt information to the audience, forms a circle of loyal users, enhances the attendance of the websites of companies, and therefore increases sales.
