The article develops a series of ideas aimed at meritocracy and meritology from the perspective of school requests. The fact that today we live in a period of valuations, accreditations, hierarchies through which are submited to the test of appreciation, by various criteria, people, activities, institutions insunderlined. According to current sociological theories, a society is considered meritocratic if each individual has the chance to succeed in life through school and if school success translates into social success. Meritocracy means being promoted on merit. Meritology itself is included in the notion of evaluation, as it is defined as an issue of value or merit judgments. It is emphasized that meritocracy and meritology are notions of sociology, which indicate a form of government or organization in which nomination is made and tasks are assigned based on ability (merits) and talent or obtaining a personal result on the basis of merit or personal superiority. Meritology implies the creation of the framework of equal opportunities in affirming the merits of the pupils and an ultra-respectful selection of these merits born or acquired personally, directing them towards socially-recognized merits. Based on the analyzes undertaken, the meritology formula is developed. From the perspectives outlined, it supports the idea that the evaluation must be as morally fair and as scientifically accurate as possible. This is one of the fundamental, essential conditions of meritology.

This article addresses the problem of the assessment achieved through the prism of different theories of the connections between the study cycles in higher education. In an era of change, students are reoriented from one cycle to another in the choice of profession. Thus, some students choose the same field of study in all three cycles in higher education: bachelor's, master's, doctoral. This is the most effective way of vocational training and is achieved through the linear continuity theory between the cycles in higher education. However other students change the field from one cycle to another, in which case the instructional process is achieved according to concentric and double-concentric theories of continuity between the cycles. In order to improve the continuity between cycles in both cases, various mechanisms intervene. One of these mechanisms is the assessment. The assessment presents certain particularities for each of the theories of ensuring continuity between the cycles in higher education.

Communication is an essential dimension of our cultural life; without communication, any type of culture is threatened with extinction. The study of communication implies the study of the culture in which it is integrated. The key moment of communication is the interaction between individuals perceived as communication partners. Due to the exchange of representations, ideas, interests, dispositions, emotions, attitudes, etc., that occur in the pedagogical communication, the communication partner goes beyond the limits of his/her own experience, which represents the main function of pedagogical communication. The effectiveness of pedagogical communication depends on the teacher's creativity and involves the intentional or unintentional transmission of information intended to clarify or influence an individual or a group of individuals. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to determine the defining characteristics of pedagogical communication and its importance in the university settings.

The content of this article describes the problem and the sources of personal and social pedagogical conflicts, presenting scientific arguments about the value of social intelligence of school teachers in order to resolve the issues of pedagogical communication which generate intra-and interpersonal conflicts in academic environment that will have impact on professional development of teachers. The system of ideas in the article presents the philosophical and sociological nature of the conflicts and promotes the importance of social skills for the pedagogical approach in the perspective of facilitation the social learning. The research of social intelligence reveals a series of advantages of school teachers’ social intelligence. Examining the dimensions of social intelligence: social perception, analysis of social behaviors, recognition of reasons of diverse actions, social capabilities, we can infer the most important social values such as: social consciousness, social cognition and attitude, assertiveness, adaptability, empathy, optimism, cooperation, problem solving, self-assertion which being promoted will anticipate multiple emotional tensions and stress situations in educational environment. From our point of view the social intelligence values of teachers which will make easier to resolve the pedagogical conflicts are: positive self-imagine, acceptance of difficulties, resistance to multiple demands, success orientation, empathy, integrity, social resonance, responsibility and social wisdom. The values of social intelligence are integrated in educational style of teachers in order to create a scholar community based on the values of humanism which will increase the social culture.
