In this paper, the approximative method for determination the reliability and availability of a telecommunication system is described. This approximative method is based on the Monte Carlo method. This paper compares two algorithm for Multiple Target Tracking using Global Nearest Neighbor (GNN) approach: first by the use standard Kalman filter (SKF-GNN) and second by the use Interacting Multiple Model (IMMGNN) in order to derive final tracking estimation. For both algorithms the observations are divided in clusters to reduce computational efforts. Results of simulations by tracking 20 targets simultaneously reveal that in some cases the IMMGNN approach gives better solution then KF-GNN approach. The computational time for assignment problem solution for maneuvering target tracking using both algorithm is studied and results prove that is IMMGNN suitable for real time implementations.

Commercial explosives are used for mining in main, quarries, construction of road and railway-track, building demolition and for special purpose as metal -welding, seismic investigation etc. In this paper a shot historical overview of commercial explosives development is given and presented properties and use of some compositions that have the greatest practical importance in our country and in the world. The "Power-deck" method for quarrying optimization, using for explosive consumption decreasing, also is presented.

During the planning and practical realization of Serbian & Montenegro units' tasks a problem -which often occurs is choosing an optimal transport route between two places (nodes). Optimization criteria can be various. This project should enable quick and easy defining of an optimal route, applying dynamic programing (DP) using Bellman's algorithm depending on chosen criteria - parameter. Optimization criteria represent minimum movement time (traveling), which are taken from imitational modeling of a traffics queue flow. Operating algorithm enable choosing an optimal transport route, for any two nodes on a road map.

In this paper the approach for movement detection is described. The approach is based on background subtraction and temporal differencing. To overcome problems with these two techniques, a hybrid algorithm for change detection is described. A hybrid algorithm is a combination background subtraction technique with a frame differencing technique. In this paper the method for background extraction is described, too.

The Doppler maritime navigational logs are based on measurement of the Doppler effect. A Doppler log transmitting transducer emits beam of sound vibration in the water, and a second (or the same) transducer receives the echo from the sea bed or -water layer. In this article describes theory of Doppler effect, using this theory in maritime logs, construction and performance of modern Doppler logs.

A theoretical model for determining the voltage output signals of the position-sensitive receiver is developed and verified experimentally. A quadrant detector is used for converting light energy into electrical energy. The quadrant detector has four independent and equal photodiodes on the sensing surface. A correctly focused symmetrical laser or optical beam will form a circular spot on the detector's active surface after passing through the lens. The photodiodes are connected to a voltage source via resistors. A photoelectric current generated in the photodiode causes a voltage drop across the associated resistor and thus provides an output signal. The signal detected by each photodiode of the quadrant detector is proportional to the area of the light spot image on the photodiode. The derived theoretical model enables a quick and correct analysis of experimental results, that is the base of the checking of technical requirements of preliminary project design of the position-sensitive optical receiver for defined purpose. The experimental results show the excellent agreement -with theory.

The measuring treatment, as well as the results of torsional vibrations in the transfer from the ship diesel engine to the propeller are shown in this work. The measuring principle of torsional stress according to the function of rotation number of ship engine is applied by using of modern measurement equipment. The position of critical rotation numbers and the level of propeller shafts stress have been checked, and on the basis of these indices the evaluation of technical condition of the system has been estimated from the aspect of torsional vibrations strain.

Friction and wear model of rotating band, due to, heating and melting material between the contact surface of a bore and projectile is described in this paper. The hydrodynamic slider-bearing model of the metal rotating band is applied and the Reynold's equation for the "fluid" (melting film) has been used in this work. The fluid temperature was assumed to be constant and equal to the melting temperature on the contact surface. Based on the total heat transfer from the film, which is made, between the melting on the non-melting surface (Landan model) and certain results of the film thickness, the coefficient of melt friction and the material wear were achieve. The size wears of the projectile rotating band and influence of certain parameters on the friction force and the film thickness are given in this paper. The achieved results have been illustrated by chosen example.

Available maintenance information system in the military forces is, with some modification, retained from the period after the World War П. There were several attempts of automatization of maintenance information systems, but all the attempts failed, whether because of the wrong approach or the wrong choice of program tools. A reform in military forces has got an important influence on organization of maintenance system, but the influence on the maintenance information system is minor. The first step in automatization is detailed analysis of processes and the dataflow that should be automated. For successful automatization, the analysis and process description ND dataflow should be made in some of the modern systems for information systems production. The model of maintenance information system, described with 19 sub-processes, offers one of the many possible ways for automatization, which is verified through the program "Automatization informational system of maintenance - troop level". If system of national defence wants to enter the international integrations, it must have compatible information systems that can be made, bought or imposed by the international organizations.

Monitoring the content of the stabilizer is one of the most reliable and modern methods used all over the world as well as in our country for chemical stability control and shelf life prediction of gun powders. For reliability rating of the used method, there has been examined samples of naturally aged single-based gun powder NC type and double-based gun powder NGB type all manufactured in different years. The samples were taken from explosive ordnance. Reaction rates constants of stabilizer consumption and shelf life of gun powders have been determined. These values were compared to analog results taken for the same gun powders tested 20 years ago. Satisfactory agreement either for naturally or accelerating aging gun powders has been confirmed. Beside that, it was determined that NC gun powder from non hermetic munitions cases proved to be considerably less stable than the originally packed NC gun powder.

Hydrogen represents the ecologically clean and practically inexhaustible energetic element, relatively easy for storage, transportation and exploitation. Nevertheless, due to high price of its production, hydrogen has not yet been a competition to actual fossil fuels. If we suppose that hydrogen will be pretty important vector in future, it is interesting to show the exploitation possibilities of hydrogen informs of hydrides and fuel cells.
