This paper gives an overview of the issues in the choice of a coordinate system in the case when multiple target are tracked using multiple sensors. In modern target tracking systems, tracking is based on results obtained using some of the target state estimation algorithms. These algorithms involve equations describing the target movement and the measurement process. The existence of different coordinate systems requires appropriate transformations in the state estimation process. In some algorithms this decreases the state estimation accuracy. Since numerous calculations have to be done, a problem may occur in real-time implementation of these algorithms. The goal of this paper is to emphasize the relevant facts that must be taken into consideration during the planning and development of multiple targets multiple sensors tracking (MTSTT) systems.

This paper describes architecture, design, and implementation of Code Tutor a Web-based intelligent tutoring system that facilitates learning of radio communications to the students of a telecommunications college. Code Tutor designed as a Web classroom client-server system, is ontologically founded and built using modern intelligent and Web-related technologies. Experience with Code Tutor so far shows that both teachers and learners have positive feelings about using Code Tutor as a support tool for learning different topics in the domain. In order to illustrate the use of Code Tutor in practice, the paper also presents some details of both students' and teachers' sessions with the system.

The concept of heavy motor vehicles exerts influence on their dynamic parameters. Some dynamic parameters also depend on the load position with respect to load space. In this paper, the effects of the load position, i.e. the center of gravity on dynamic parameters of trucks have been analyzed. Besides the dynamic parameter variation analysis, the first order sensitivity functions have been given as well. The influence of changing the center of gravity position in the longitudinal direction on vertical oscillations as well as changing the position of the center of gravity in the lateral direction on angular oscillations have been noticed.

Guidance and control systems, including homing systems, are complex systems requiring the application of knowledge from different areas in order to form precise mathematical models of all system elements. The computer model is based on the mathematical model of a homing system and it enables the system dynamical performance analysis. In this paper a computer model of the homing system is presented. The described software is open for upgrade, i.e. for another type of the guidance law.

This paper analyzes the mounting offset size effect of the inertial measurement unit (IMU) in aircraft and accelerometers mounting offset size effect in the IMU on the accuracy of strap down inertial navigation system (SDINS). It is also shown that these effects cannot be always neglected. The total size effect error for the IMU has been the computed. An accelerometers optimum orientation inside the IMU has been proposed to minimize size effects on the accuracy of navigation parameters. A manner to compensate these size effects has been proposed as well.

Accessibility, being among the most important factors of transport quality determines the means of transport. The highest level of accessibility is offered by the system of roads because of its ramifications. However, due to the construction and improvements of branch lines as logical extensions of railroad tracks, and to the application of new technologies of combined transport, the rail transport is constantly becoming better equipped for performing a full service, i.e. a direct transport from the sender to the receiver. This paper analyses the role of branch lines in improving the quality of rail transport service.

The one-factor plan of the performed experiment gave us a chance to analyze all starting parameters that appear in the process of two-phase flow in the tube of the automatic riffle. Here we present a comprehensive plan of the factory experiment starting mass of powder with chosen parameters and analyze their effects on the outgoing characteristics. A complete analysis (depressive and regressive) is performed for the maximum pressure of powder gases and the starting speed of the projectile, as very important outgoing characteristics of any weapon.

The paper analyzes the effects of bonding agents on mechanical properties and viscosity of composite rocket propellants based on hydroxiterminated polybutadiene and toluendiizocyanate, i.e. izophorondiizocyanate. The efficiency of bonding agents (BA) of different structure has been compared including triethylentetramine (TET), tris-(2-methyl azyrinidile) phosphine oxide (MAPO) and N, N-di (2-hydroxiethyl)-4,4-dimethylhydantoine (DHE). The BA efficiency has been determined on the basis of parameters obtained by uniaxial tensile tests (σm - tensile strength at maximum force, εm - relative allongation at maximum force and εp - relative allongation at fracture). The mechanical properties have been measured at the temperature range from -50°C to 50°C. The BA effects on propellant viscosity change rates have been analyzed.

Military motorized columns on the move cause various obstructions to other participants in the traffic. Military motorized columns are usually composed of cargo vehicles with low dynamic characteristics which cannot entirely take advantage of highways as functional road network elements with the best technical and exploitation characteristics. Due to relatively low speed of columns on the move, there is a need for passing them. The process of passing columns on highways was analyzed from the standpoint of lost time in the traffic flow and the number of obstructed vehicles.

For building Private Mobile Radio (PMR), analogous and digital trunked mobile radio systems are used today. Due to many advantages, trunked systems of digital mobile radio are gradually pushing out analogous trunked systems. Digital trunked systems are produced and built in the field, according to specific standards. The most famous and spread standards of the world are "EDACS", "TETRA", "APCO 25", "TETRAPOL" and "IDEN". A short description and characteristics of the above mentioned standards are given in the paper, as well as their comparative analysis.

In this paper a computer model for the search radar analysis is presented The basic properties of the presented software are interactivity, graphical representation of results and possibility to compare results for different probabilities of false alarm. The results are displayed for the whole range of detection probability. The computer model is open for upgrade, for example with clutter and jammer moduli.

In this paper the physico-chemical and detonation properties of nitramine high explosives, hexogen and octogen, are presented and compared with a polycyclic nitramine high explosive CL-20. This new high explosive CL-20 exists in four crystalline forms, stable at different temperatures. CL-20 has better detonation properties than hexogen and octogen, higher density and detonation rate, but greater impact and friction sensitivity (of PETN class). So it is necessary to bond this explosive with polymers-ethylenvinil acetat (EVA) and estane to reduce sensitivity to mechanical effects. CL-20 can be prepared by adding high energy materials-fluoro-nitro compounds (FEFO) as regulators of energy performances.

Trend sve češće primene bespilotnih letelica biće nastavljen nesumnjivo, i tokom ove decenije. U vezi s tim. Stiče se utisak da će razvoj borbenih bespilotnih letilica biti u usponu. Mada je u proteklom periodu težište bilo na razvoju bespilotnih letilica za vojne primene (gde su ulagana velika sredstva), a civilni sektor je, uglavnom, koristio rezultate razvoja vojnih bespilotnih letelica, u narednom periodu se očekuje porast ulaganja i u razvoj bespilotnih letelica u civilnom sektoru. Bespilotne letelice su imale značajnu ulogu u zadacima koje su obavljale multinacionalne snage u toku rata u Bosni i Hercegovini i agresije NATO-a na SRJ, pa je poznavanje karakteristika bespilotnih letelica, za pripadnike Vojske, od velikog značaja. U sažetom tabelarnom pregledu prikazani su podatci o bespilotnim letelicama uglavnom proizvođača iz zapadnih zemalja, što ne znači da ih ne proizvode i druge zemlje, posebno Ruska federacija kao i neke susedne zemlje (Bugarska, Hrvatska).

(not available in English) U proteklim godinama i decenijama u "Vojnotehničkom glasniku" (VTG) redali su se naučno-stručni radovi koji su odslikavali nove teorije i njihove primene u praksi, nove naučne discipline, tehnologije i matematičke modele. Bili su to zapaženi članci sa prikazom rezultata u oblastima osnovnih primenjenih i razvojnih istraživanja koja se realizuju u Vojsci Jugoslavije i naučnim institucijama izvan Vojske. Naučno-tehnološka dostignuća stvaraju teorijsku i materijalnu osnovu za stalno usavršavanje postojećih sistema naoružanja, a posebno za uvođenje novih, moćnijih i efikasnijih sistema čime se direktno utiče na razvoj strategije, taktike i logističke podrške oružane borbe. Ukoliko bi se u retrospekciji VTG zahtevala kompleksnija slika preseka u širem obimu prikaza sumarnih rezultata vojne teorije i prakse ovog stručnog i naučnog časopisa, teško da bi se u tome uspelo. Stoga će biti prikazan samo deo naučnog i stručnog doprinosa iz bogatog opusa VTG naglašavajući oblasti značajne za aktuelni proces reorganizacije Vojske Jugoslavije.

Artiljerijsko vojnotehničko učilište i Automobilska oficirska škola, u čijem sastavu je bila i Automobilska tehnička podoficirska škola, bile su jezgro iz kojeg su se formirali Vojnotehnička akademija (VTA) i Tehnička podoficirska škola (TPŠ) dve stalne škole TŠC, kao i škole za usavršavanje i kursevi.

(not available in English) Školovanje srednjoškolskog kadra Tehničke službe (TSl) predstavlja deo sistema tehničkog obezbeđenja Vojske Jugoslavije. Njime se osigurava stručni kadar za održavanje borbenih i drugih sistema i sredstava, snabdevanje materijalom i sredstvima kao i za izvršavanje specifičnih zadataka u službi. I pored razvijenog srednjoškolskog sistema u društvu, za potrebe TSl se ne može angažovati srednjoškolski tehnički kadar iz građanstva, jer njihov obrazovni profil ne odgovara zahtevima Tehničke službe. To se, pre svega odnosi na poznavanje specifičnih tehničkih sistema koji se koriste u Vojsci a za čije se održavanje angažuje tehnički kadar srednjoškolskog nivoa. Usavršavanje tehnologije školovanja ovog kadra stalna je obaveza taktičkog nosioca - Tehničke uprave i Srednje stručne vojne škole - smer Tehničke službe (SSVŠ - smer TSl). Pri tome moraju da se uvaže svi relevantni faktori uzročno-posledične veze, sistem tehničkog obezbeđenja i, u skladu s time definišu zahtevi, modeli i oblici, obrazovni profili specijalnosti i usmerenja za kadar koji se školuje. Kako je proces školovanja u direktnoj vezi sa tehničko-tehnološkim razvojem VJ mora se adekvatno usklađivati. U ovom radu predstavljen je istorijat razvoja školovanja srednjoškolskog kadra TSl za period od 1953. do 2002. godine. Takođe, prikazan je i sadašnji nivo organizacije školovanja, postignuti efekti i rezultati, kao i mogućnosti daljeg razvoja.
