Two LPI signal detection and parameter estimation methods are analyzed in a non-cooperative context. The first method is based on the time-frequency signal analysis along with pattern recognition techniques. The second one is based on the estimation of a periodic autocorrelation function. Frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW) signals are analyzed as a class of waveforms often used in LPI radars. Experimentally obtained signals are used in tests. An experiment with a real FMCW signal transceiver and a receiver is carried out and the obtained signal analysis results are presented.

The main goal of professional risk rate determination is preventive action in order to secure and protect health of employees. It considers assumption of common and special working protection measures in order to eliminate any danger or damage or to reduce workers exposition time to some risk factors in their working environments. In many cases data on former noxious events are incomplete or statistically insufficiently relevant. So the set of these data is often statistically nonhomogeneous, so are the results of statistical analysis. Thereby rated risks are insufficiently accurate and unreliable. Because of all these things, in this paper is recommend and apply an expert method which annuls this shortage and simultaneously it removes influences that are the consequence of some rate indetermination and subjectivity.

This paper presents the effects of the range extension of an artillery rocket with wrap around fins on its dynamic stability. The increased total impulse of the rocket engine for 50% and flight through the atmosphere layers with low air density extend the range for more than 75% of the nominal range. However, the flight of the unguided rocket through the rarefied air produces difficulties related to the dynamic stability. The small changes in the side moment which is induced by the angle of attack and Magnus moment of the improved rocket can produce instabilities in flight and increasement the angle of attack. The tolerances of the side moment were determined for both basic and improved type of the rocket in order to prevent instable flight. The influence of the range extension on the probable errors in range and cross-range was analyzed as well.

This paper presents the use of noise monitoring system, terminal NMT 3637B and software 7802, Brüel & Kjær in process of jet aircraft noise certification according to standard ICAO Annex 16 and the algoritam for calculating EPNL noise level (Effective Perceived Noise Level) that we created in MatLab environment. This software sublimated all necessary input parameters, acoustic and non acoustic in purpose of getting final result and intermediate data. Those data are important for reporting to the certificating authority.

This paper presents methodological approach to calculation of natural frequencies and modal shapes by using of finite elements method. Modal analysis realized by application of finite elements method, results by the rule, in a large number of modal shapes (frequencies) of natural oscillation. In real conditions only some of them are excited. The main purpose of this paper is calculation of natural frequencies that we can recognize design effort and solutions for hindering of modal oscillation.

Software models of some functional radar units are projected in this paper and proper platform for performance improving of existent conventional radars is created. Feature improving and flexibility increasing of conventional radars can be upgraded with application of software radar concept and totally new functions can be implemented which also upgraded its performances. All software models are projected in MATLAB program. Also structure and performances of the conventional radar GIRAFFE, which is modeled by software are described. Additionally, way of the RANGE BIN memory and Doppler filter software realization are described. CFAR mathematical model is presented detailed.

In this paper, new concept for parallel networking of the computers or LANs over different WAN telecommunications networks, is presented. One solution of the parallel networks, which enables reliable transfer of multimedia traffic and data transmission in real time between a computer of LAN via N (N = 1, 2 3, 4,…) different inter-connected Wide Area Network. Connections between computers or LANs and wide area networks are realized using universal modems whose solution has also been presented.

Spatial position of vehicle C.G. as well as angular parameters of body rotation are of major importance for analysis of vehicle dynamics, handling vibrational comfort, safe service in traffic etc. The mentioned parameters are determined by use of methods of dynamic simulation in phase of development, and by means of test measurement for vehicles in real service conditions. The problem that is to be taken into consideration here is related to practical measurement of vehicle motion parameters. Translational coordinates of vehicle C.G. are usually measured on the basis of registered linear accelerations of vehicle C.G. (once or twice integrated later, for calculation of displacement or velocity) and body angles are usually measured on gyroscope-stabilized platforms. The problem which occurs in these cases is the platform price (up to 100.000 EUR), not easily affordable for researchers. This paper attempts to determine vehicle motion parameters on the ground of six registered linear accelerations of specific body spots.

In this paper the specialties in interception of spread spectrum radar signals are exposed in regard interception of conventional pulsed radar signals. According to [1-3] and exposed examples it follow that future intercept receivers need 10-30 db selectivity enhancement to cope with modern LPI radar systems. One way is to use narrow beam, high gain antennas. Another way is trough signal processing. There is a review of existing algorithms in detection and parameter estimation of spread spectrum radar signals in non-cooperative context. Coherent methods and cross-correlation methods are put in the focus.

As the other energetic substances, propellants are thermodynamically unstable. Thereby, during storing, they undergo chemical decomposition process (aging). Aging process are cause changing their functional properties and decreasing safe during storage because of potential hazard from self ignition. The decomposition mechanism of nitro esters and chemical stability phenomena of propellants are shortly discussed in these papers. The compared analysis of domestic and NATO methodology for investigation of chemical stability is realized. The observed deficiencies in up to now application of standard SNO 8069/91 are specially mentioned. As optimal solution of this problem it is supposed to accept corresponding STANAG standards that regulate this problematic.

In view of the fact that the reserves of petroleum, i.e. of fuels mineral origin are limited, the trend of research of renewable sources is more and more actual, with the aim to substitute conventional fuels. During the last years, the trend of substituting gasohol of mineral origin with the fuels deriving from vegetable culture is actual world-wide. EU directives are pointed out that is necessary to substitute fossil diesel with 0,75% of biofuel per year. In total consumption of fuels for transportation, to 2010 the biofuel should participate with 5,75% and with 20% to 2020. In this review are technology of biodiesel production and research diesel-motor S-44 with use diesel D-2 fuel, biodiesel RME and their mixtures. The results of the researches suggest that further improvement of such fuels is necessary, and particularly of the physical and chemical characteristics, according to the proposed standard/or biodiesel.

This paper presents information system for automatization of planning time tables and exam terms. Software provides input and saving of all relevant data concerning subjects, teachers, exams, terms (dates), specialities, student groups and quick presentation of different report types about time tables and exam terms. The software solution involves data base designed on "Microsoft SQL Server 2000"platform and user interface coded using "Microsoft Access 2000".

Dial-a-Ride system is a way of transport in which a transporter owns a fleet and realizes transport when and where customers ask for it. Different versions of this type of transportation are present in every day practice. The main problem here is route design and scheduling to realize the set of transport requests. In this paper it is described a heuristic algorithm for route design and scheduling for the static Dial-a-Ride problem. The developed algorithm can be applied in real situations.
