In this paper, the fluid flow coefficient is considered according to the model Of hydraulic functioning of the artillery weapon recoil brake during firing process. The relations for coefficient of hydraulic resistance during primary and additional fluid flow are determined on the basis of the form of the flow through bores. The law of change of flow resistance coefficient is determined on the basis of experimental values for fluid pressure and piston velocity moving in the recoil phase. The Influence of the flow resistance coefficient on the fluctuation level of the total braking force of artillery weapon recoil mass was analyzed.

The tires nonuniformity additionally generates the steering system vibration This is very significant for the wheels shimmy and steering torsion vibration appearance. In this paper the steering system vibrations were modeled by the NEWEUL package, the tire nonuniformity excitation included. The analyses showed that the tire nonuniformity increases the steering system vibrations.

This paper presents a system for TV and thermal imagery digitalization and display, intended for further image processing. The image obtained from TV/thermal camera is entered, through the DT3153 frame grabber card, into PC where it is digitalized and then processed and displayed. The digitalization of TV/thermal imagery on PSs with corresponding equipment has been presented.

A method for finding out the analytical expressions of pressure and the time of shock wave positive phase during underwater explosion has been defined as a function of explosive weight and the distance from the explosion center. The methods of mathematical statistics have been applied to define the method of finding out the model of parameters of pressure momentum of underwater explosion shock waves. The analytical expressions of partial correlation coefficients and the multiple correlation coefficient have been defined for the qualitative evaluation of obtained models accordance with experimental data.

This article deals with the problem of dislocating mobile items inventory at the army level. A suggestion to redefine the existing definition has been given, considering the environmental changes. A definition of dispersion of mobile items at the brigade level and the problem of dislocating production resources important for combat operations, has been considered as well. Possibilities to improve decision making methodology based on logistics principles and planning has been also considered.

Well prepared and efficiently carried out modernization improves the level of combat readiness and effectiveness of military equipment in a very rational and economically justified way, and therefore it is very often applied in the world.

The paper presents the way of choosing, defining, formalizing and structuring criteria for the evaluation of complex organizational and technological systems. Choice, definition, formalization and structuring of criteria are impossible to be realized without knowing the very organizational-technological system, problems, evaluation subject and objective, choice of an evaluation model, evaluation method and ranking. The paper gives a general form of possible criteria for the evaluation and ranking of organizational variants of logistic systems. Choice, structuring and presenting evaluating criteria as well as ranking of logistic systems organizations has been performed more for the sake of their review and less for the sake of giving final criteria.

The investigation included experimental and theoretical studies of internal ballistic characteristics with a particular attention to erosive rate burning in function of propellant-motor system geometric parameters. Experimental investigations have been performed of the defined double base propellant. DRG-X, in a test motor specially designed for this purpose. The experimental results of burning rate (basic and erosive) are presented. Corresponding models of burning rates and erosion effects have been derived as well.

Different methods of range optimization have been considered: theoretical practical and theoretical-practical methods. The best-known of theoretical methods is the energy method. In the energy method, differential equations of aircraft flight path are so formulated to give optimum aircraft flight profile or maximum aircraft range. The practical methods are experimental graphic and tabular method. The computer method is a method that comprises both theoretical and practical methods. The computer method uses the experimental data to linearize the nonlinear system of differential equations of aircraft flight. Adaptation aircraft attack-navigation system by computers enables faster range calculations on different flight profiles and different suspended strapped-down weapons.

The aim of work was to measure the entire noise level and to accomplish the octave analysis as well as to measure ultrasound and infrasound levels inside and around two types of helicopters. The results of measurement showed that the entire noise levels (92 dB(A) -113 dB(A)) and octave sound level pressures in the observed work regimes of helicopter motors exceed the permissible levels. The spectrum analysis of infrasound showed that it does not exceed the permissible levels in any octave band. The spectrum analysis of ultrasound showed it exceeds the permissible level only in the third octave band with the mid frequency of 20 kHz around the second type of helicopter.

This work presents specific segments of an information system for maintaining combat aircraft. The existence of an information system for combat aircraft maintenance is a prerequisite for their high quality maintenance and achieving high efficiency and flight safety. The application of the maintenance methodology according to reliability, where aircraft maintenance is included, imposes the necessity for continuous following and estimation of the achieved reliability level of combat aircraft and effective control during the whole period of usage.

(not available in English) Primenom faktorske analize na polazne parametre koji najviše utiču na model dvofaznog strujanja u cevi automatske puške 7,62mm, dolazi se do sledećih zaključaka: analizirana su četiri parametra koji najviše utiču na izlazne UB karakteristike, kako samostalno tako i u kombinaciji sa ostalim parametrima. To su: jedinična brzina sagorevanja baruta, početna masa barutnog zrna, početna površina barutnog zrna i početna masa baruta potpunim faktorskim planom eksperimenta obuhvaćeni su maksimalni pritisak barutnih gasova i početna brzina projektila. Analogno ovoj analizi moguće je da se postupak faktorske analize primeni i na ostale karakteristike strujanja (gustina barutnih gasova, poroznost, energija barutnih gasova temperatura barutnih gasova, itd..); postupkom disperzivne i regresivne analize izvršeno je rangiranje odabranih parametara, formirani su regresivni polinomi, dobijene srednje vrednosti za maksimalni pritisak barutnih gasova i početnu brzinu projektila, kao i njihove dozvoljene granice odstupanja. Na osnovu dobijenih regresivnih koeficijenata i formiranih regresivnih polinoma moguća je dalja korekcija odabranih parametara radi usaglašavanja rezultata modela sa rezultatima eksperimenata; za pritisak barutnih gasova i brzinu projektila izvršena je faktorska analiza za određeni vremenski trenutak, odnosno trenutak postizanja maksimalnog pritiska i brzine projektila na ustima cevi (početna brzina); potpuni faktorski plan eksperimenta 24 primenjen je u ovom radu na teorijski model dvofaznog strujanja. Na isti način faktorska analiza se može primeniti i na eksperimenat [6], sto iziskuje znatno vise vremena i novčanih sredstava. Najbolje je da se realizuje kombinacija teorijskog modela i eksperimentalnih istraživanja.

This paper points out the effects of mobile phone radiation on a human organism. The existing standards are based on electromagnetic field thermal effects on a human organism. The permissible values from the standards have been compared with the calculation results concerning field intensity measured field values and experimental data from literature. This served as a base for the determination of the antenna safety distance. Besides the thermal effect, there is interference as well as homeopathic effect whose influence has not been investigated yet. Some advice on using mobile phones are given in order to reduce harmful radiation.

The pallet system is essential in supply, especially in logistic support of strategic units. In order to organize rationally the application of the pallet technology, it is necessary to create logistic transport chains from the producer to the final user. Possible pallet chains are presented here as well as their basic forming links. The evaluation methods concerning shain links are taken as criteria for the choice of an optimal pallet chain in operational planning in peacetime. The deterministic model for working out a number of pallets and necessary manipulation mechanization is presented for the chosen pallet chain.
