The article studies water content of leaves and water-holding capacity of trees and shrubs of twelve kinds of plants. Water-holding capacity analysis was conducted in summer, which is stressful for the plants. It was determined that water-holding capacity of plants is minimal in spring and summer, while these functions increase in mid and late summer. Basing on these data, all trees and shrubs were divided into 3 groups by water-holding capacity: low, medium and high. Plants of the third group are recommended for the semi-arid zone Zhezkazgan Region landscaping

The paper offers the approach to measure of uncertainty estimation in dynamic processes of banks functioning, using statistic data of different banking operations indicators. To calculate measure of uncertainty in dynamic processes of banks functioning the phase images of relevant sets of statistic data are considered. Besides, it is shown that the form of phase image of the studied sets of statistic data can act as a basis of measure of uncertainty estimation in dynamic processes of banks functioning. The set of analytical characteristics are offered to formalize the form of phase image definition of the studied sets of statistic data. It is shown that the offered analytical characteristics consider inequality of changes in values of the studied sets of statistic data, which is one of the ways of uncertainty display in dynamic processes development. The invariant estimates of measure of uncertainty in dynamic processes of banks functioning, considering significant changes in absolute values of the same indicators for different banks were obtained. The examples of calculation of measure of uncertainty in dynamic processes of concrete banks functioning were cited.

Ancient climatic architecture had found out a series of appropriate responses for the best compatibility with the critical climate condition for instance, designing ‘earth sheltered houses’ and ‘courtyard houses’. They could provide human climatic comfort without excessive usage of fossil fuel resources. Owing to the normal thermal conditions in the ground depth, earth sheltered houses can be slightly affected by thermal fluctuations due to being within the earth. In depth further than 6.1 meters, temperature alternation is minute during the year, equaling to average annual temperature of outside. More to the point, courtyard buildings as another traditional design approach, have prepared controlled climatic space based on creating the maximum shade in the summer and maximum solar heat absorption in the winter. The courtyard houses served the multiple functions of lighting to the rooms, acting as a heat absorber in the summer and a radiator in the winter, as well as providing an open space inside for community activities. It must be noted that they divided into summer and winter zones located in south and north of the central courtyard where residents were replaced into them according to changing the seasons. Therefore, Ancient climatic buildings provided better human thermal comfort in comparison with the use contemporary buildings of recent years, except with the air conditioning

The main purpose of retail business is to continuously maintain the responsiveness to the changing trends in consumer fashion tastes through quickly creating new designs that are suitable for all customers with an affordable price. Hence, the importance of Supply Chain (Management) has appeared. The objectives of this study are to analyze the impact of purchasing and supply chain management strategies in retail industry and identify the way of success of AZEL FRANCE Retailer Company of ZARA clothing in Bosnia and Herzegovina from supply chain perspective management by conducting a survey study. AZEL FRANCE is found to be successful in that it can control and streamline the highly consumable fashion items in their supply chains so that they can greatly decrease their lead time and thus increase be responsive enough for fast changes in fashion customer needs and desires by minimizing the industry risks. The retailer stores of AZEL FRANCE are also found to be confident about the future profitability. However, some technical inabilities of the company are also identified. It can be suggested that AZEL FRANCE can easily leverage more its successfully implemented supply chain activities by increasing its technical abilities.

The article discusses the bio-ecology of Taxus baccata L. in Kakheti (eastern Georgia), particularly in Tsinandali Park. Yew (Taxus baccata L.) preserved in Tsinandali Park (Telavi region, Georgia) was chosen as an object for long-lasting observation over plant vegetation. Vegetation of 47 new specimens were studied during the period 2001-2010. It was observed the buds opening, the vegetation finishing, the cambium active periods beginning and finishing, the sprout stiffen process, the rate and time of growth. The period between 2001 and 2004 is distinguished by the relatively intensive growth of yew samples. In 2004-2010 growth period was shortened. It is suggested, that shortening often growth period in yew specimen is related to the deficit of water in soil due to frequent drought and snowless winters in Telavi region in the last decade. Observation conducted on the peculiarities of cambial growth confirms that yew has strong ability of frost-resistance. We consider that the bio-ecological studies of yew tree, as an endangered species, and its implementation in decorative gardening will contribute to its conservation.

The paper presents the results of the research, focused on evaluation and development of correct posture and muscular imbalance correction in pupils of primary schools. The research involved 58 pupils of the fourth grade of primary school. The main method was educational experiment and tests for the evaluation of muscular imbalance and posture. We used the motor program, involving yoga exercises and fitball exercises in the experimental group. After the educational experiment, the posture and muscular imbalance in the experimental group improved if compared to the initial measurements. The research showed the positive effect of motor program on the posture and muscular imbalance.

This article is devoted to the theoretical and practical aspects of foreign language teaching of the future hospitality and tourism specialists in terms of professional intercultural communication. First of all, we have analyzed the peculiarities of professional activities and job specification of tourism specialists, then on these grounds we have selected professional foreign competences, which are necessary to develop while teaching this type of specialists foreign languages. Taking into consideration the nature of the tourism specialists’ professional activities and the training objectives of professional foreign language communication, we have worked out the fundamental methodological principles of teaching foreign languages for special purposes, namely the professional communicative principle and the professional intercultural principle. At the same time, we have presented linguistic-didactic basics of tourism specialists’ language training. Particular emphasis is put on the use of the materials, containing regional component, which facilitate to develop the ability to represent native culture during professional intercultural communication.

The article analyzes the variability of climatic parameters of North-East Caucasus piedmont landscapes: annual air temperature and precipitation and also the coefficient of moisture over the last 60 years. Large temporal heterogeneity of these parameters is typical for landscapes not only for the whole considered period, but in a greater degree for short periods (3-5 years). In this regard, it is concluded that the short changes can neutralize the effects of the landscape structure of modern climate changes.

The redistribution of chemical elements in organs and tissues of Wistar rats-males is studied on the model of chronic intoxication with small doses of lead. It has been shown that the maximal accumulation of the entered metal is registrated in a spleen, buds and bones. Thus more expressive changes of balance are observed at elementoorganic level in a liver, heart and brain.
