A short history of theory of product safety is given and relationship between reliability and safety terms is analyzed as well as other similar terms. The basic terms from technical systems safety area are given as well as index and indicators of the technical systems safety. The basic principles of technical systems safety are analyzed and the fundamentals of statistical analysis of technical systems safety during usage, based on indices of possibility of accident are shown.

The measuring treatment, as well as the results of torsional vibrations in the transfer from the ship diesel engine to the propeller are shown in this work. The measuring principle of torsional stress according to the function of rotation number of ship engine is applied by using of modern measurement equipment. The position of critical rotation numbers and the level of propeller shafts stress have been checked, and on the basis of these indices the evaluation of technical condition of the system has been estimated from the aspect of torsional vibrations strain.

The transportation system of a country exists and functions in peace and it is very important for the defense of the country. The transportation system has not only direct but also indirect influence on defense, because almost all systems included in defense are dependent on it. When compared to peace, the basic characteristics of its functioning in war is carrying out the tasks in conditions of infrastructure destruction, multiplied transportation demands and continuous blow of all elements of the system. For all these reasons the preparations for transportation system functioning in those conditions are of exceptional importance.

Friction and wear model of rotating band, due to, heating and melting material between the contact surface of a bore and projectile is described in this paper. The hydrodynamic slider-bearing model of the metal rotating band is applied and the Reynold's equation for the "fluid" (melting film) has been used in this work. The fluid temperature was assumed to be constant and equal to the melting temperature on the contact surface. Based on the total heat transfer from the film, which is made, between the melting on the non-melting surface (Landan model) and certain results of the film thickness, the coefficient of melt friction and the material wear were achieve. The size wears of the projectile rotating band and influence of certain parameters on the friction force and the film thickness are given in this paper. The achieved results have been illustrated by chosen example.

Available maintenance information system in the military forces is, with some modification, retained from the period after the World War П. There were several attempts of automatization of maintenance information systems, but all the attempts failed, whether because of the wrong approach or the wrong choice of program tools. A reform in military forces has got an important influence on organization of maintenance system, but the influence on the maintenance information system is minor. The first step in automatization is detailed analysis of processes and the dataflow that should be automated. For successful automatization, the analysis and process description ND dataflow should be made in some of the modern systems for information systems production. The model of maintenance information system, described with 19 sub-processes, offers one of the many possible ways for automatization, which is verified through the program "Automatization informational system of maintenance - troop level". If system of national defence wants to enter the international integrations, it must have compatible information systems that can be made, bought or imposed by the international organizations.

Monitoring the content of the stabilizer is one of the most reliable and modern methods used all over the world as well as in our country for chemical stability control and shelf life prediction of gun powders. For reliability rating of the used method, there has been examined samples of naturally aged single-based gun powder NC type and double-based gun powder NGB type all manufactured in different years. The samples were taken from explosive ordnance. Reaction rates constants of stabilizer consumption and shelf life of gun powders have been determined. These values were compared to analog results taken for the same gun powders tested 20 years ago. Satisfactory agreement either for naturally or accelerating aging gun powders has been confirmed. Beside that, it was determined that NC gun powder from non hermetic munitions cases proved to be considerably less stable than the originally packed NC gun powder.

Nevertheless, due to high price of its production, hydrogen has not yet been a competition to actual fossil fuels. If we suppose that hydrogen will be pretty important vector in future, it is interesting to show the exploitation possibilities of hydrogen informs of hydrides and fuel cells.

This paper considers comparative analysis the problem of maneuvering target tracking to IMM algorithm with 3 standard Kalman filters and same standard Kalman filter 6. order, using data from TWS radar. The first Kalman filter from IMM algorithms is tuned for tracking of target moving along the rectilinear trajectory -without acceleration, the second tracks the targets with acceleration and gentle maneuver, and the third Kalman filter tracks the target with acceleration and sharp maneuver. The mathematical model of algorithm and values of appropriate parameters and Kalman filter matrices, are presented. The results of RMSE of tracking in x and у coordinates, show the validity of the proposed method.

In this paper, an active suspension system is developed by use of a vehicle plane model without feedback filters in control system. A method of stochastic parameters optimization has been utilized in order to optimize PI controller parameters. The basic optimization goal was a simultaneous minimization of sprung mass acceleration and standard deviation of forces in tire-to-ground contact area, so as to improve vehicle comfort and handling performances.

In this work the measuring method of torsion vibrations is presented according to the measurement of torsion stress using strain gages. This method is particularly suitable in checking the system elements strain level that transfers changeable torsion moments and oscillate torsionally. Besides that, the system elements critical velocity rotation can be estimated, folio-wed by the resonant strain and problems in the function of that system such as: amplified noise, -wearing-out of gears, fatigue crack, damage and break of shafts and junctions etc. The measuring chain is proposed in -which the central part is a contemporary mobile system Spider 8, -which enables measurement, processing and displays measured results on a computer.

The technical system effectiveness, is a complex indicator of the system functioning quality, and depending on its basic purpose and the objective function, it encompasses different characteristics of the system and the maintaining process. The appropriate models of the effectiveness evaluation of the technical systems include all relevant parameters of the system functioning and they satisfy the objective function. Lot of the complex technical systems are established on the appropriate constructive and structural solutions, which in the case of failure of the specific components, provide only partial deterioration of the function quality evaluation of complex system, it is justified to take into consideration of the quantitative conditional indicator of the effectiveness, which discusses the influence of the mentioned partials failures.

The current methodology of calculation accuracy of the complete preparation of one indirect firing initial elements is very complex, impractical and not precise enough. In this -work one can find finishing of the current methodology of calculation as well as the appropriate software. In this -way all the drawbacks have been eliminated, and the process of the automation calculation has been done by means of computer. The analysis of the declared accuracy of the method of the initial elements complete preparation has been preformed and, based on that, certain conclusions and suggestions have been made and given.

This paper -work presents the cavitation arises, causes of its appearing and consequences which it setup on materials. It represents the influence of cavitation on parts of marine Diesel engines cooled by -water, as -well as, influence of cavitation erosion on surface of the cylinder liner cooled by water. The focus of this paperwork is the influence of cavitation appearing on cooling surfaces of marine Diesel engines, and specially the influence of cooling fluid type, pressure and temperature on the loss of mass of models examined on cavitation in equal conditions and on the same device. Particularly performed analysis and comparison of cavitation destruction dependent on pressure and temperature of cooling fluid.

This paper presents a basic theoretical scheme and a mathematical model that is used to calculate jet aircraft noise level for certification purposes in accordance with the international standard ICAO Annex 16. In this process acoustic and nonacoustic data are used. The process also includes the procedure for eliminating ambient noise effects out of the aircraft noise signal. This procedure was applied in the case of noise measurement results for the G-2Ajet aircraft.

They provide administering of different information content (delegation of content authoring and content using grants), as well as dynamical content composing and distribution. They are focused on their content. Although there are technology prerequisites, these systems lack content personalization. This paper describes the possibility of the CMS functional extending to adjust data structure and content with particular users' skills, interests and demands.
