Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is partially distributed autonomous sensors to monitor physical or environmental conditions such as temperature, pressure etc. and to cooperatively pass their data through the network to the central location. The technique referred to as multi-hop wireless communications is used by the WSN’s to communicate. Due to the limited processing power and the finite power accessible to each sensor nodes, the application of regular routing techniques is not recommended. Hence recent advances in wireless sensor networks have made the routing protocols more efficient. This paper surveys and compares the advanced routing protocols. The three main categories discussed here are flat based, hierarchical based and location based. The paper concludes with open research issues.

Organizations and businesses that do their best over long term are those who are the most creative and innovative. In order to achieve this, in today’s business world, organizational creativity and employees idea generation became one of the most important and essential elements for success and survival. At the same time, the world is faced with a phenomenon known as digital data that may appear in various forms. Most employees in the business world use digital data on their organizational computer systems and these digital data always affect them. This study intends to investigate the relation between digital data and computer-based idea generation. Target population is Iranian computer users that work with organizational computer systems. The sample used in this empirical study includes 1270 Iranian organizational computer users. Data gathering is done by questionnaire and answers were designed with Likert Scale. The sampling technique is cluster and random together, the statistical Software SPSS 23.0 is used for Pearson correlation and investigate hypothesis, and finally the method used was library and field study. The findings show that textual, audio and visual digital data have a positive and meaningful relationship with employees’ computer-based creative idea generation. The contribution of this paper is suggesting that certain digital data parameters are important to drive the creativity. The results presented in this paper can be useful for the competitive advantage of organizations and their survival in today’s dynamic and complex business environment.

When a process gets the CPU, the scheduler has no idea of the precise amount of CPU time the process will need. Process scheduling algorithms are used for better utilization of CPU. The number of processes arriving to the CPU at a time comes in mass volume which causes a long waiting queue. In Multilevel feedback queue scheduling, the scheduler moves from one queue to another in order to perform the processing follow the transition mechanism. This paper analysed a general transition scenario for the functioning of CPU scheduler in multilevel queue with feedback mechanism. We proposed a Markov chain model to analyze this transition phenomenon with a general class of scheduling scheme. Simulation study is performed to evaluate the comparative study with the help of varying values of α and d in a mathematical model.

KQML (Knowledge Query Manipulation Language) is both a language and a protocol for establishing communication among multiagent systems. Researchers have been putting efforts to improve the existing structure of KQML. The latest version of KQML i.e. the KQML Improved not only supports existing features but it also extends the list of performatives and parameters along with a novel KQML based communication protocol. It also uniquely contributes security related performatives and hence limits the agents going destructive in a system. A comprehensive evaluation of KQML Improved with respect to available metrics as well as its comparison with its predecessor is being presented in the paper.

Communication is the process of transmitting information from source to destination. The information exchanged between sender and receiver through the proper channel. The information should not be stolen by unauthorized parties like hackers while sending or receiving via channel. To avoid this stealing of the information cryptography techniques are used. The key is playing prominent role in cryptography. This paper proposes a novel method for key generation by using nearest primes. Further 2’s complement and logical operations are used in encryption and decryption process. The final cipher text is generated by representing the intermediate cipher in matrix form and then read by column wise.

This paper proposes an improved configuration of Cellular Antennas for terrains like hills where network coverage is poor and a number of black spots are very high. The proposed solution delivers efficient and much robust antenna structure which provides better network coverage by using 90-degree sector antennas. The radio spectrum of the 90-degree sector antenna is also shown to give the idea of cell coverage in order to build a seamless network in the region.This paper also proposes different channel allocation schemes that can be used with the proposed antenna configuration to deliver better network coverage and low call dropping probability. This is achieved by analyzing the terrain of the region and also the cellular traffic in the region. In areas where network traffic is almost constant or have low population, strategies like fixed channel allocation can be used effectively and efficiently. While in the areas where traffic is unpredictable or is subject to regional festivals or tourism, channel strategies like dynamic channel allocation are very useful to fulfill the demand of the overall network. The simulations and validations for the proposed methodology are done using MATLAB.

To avoid the energy consumption over a cryptographic operations are design of Message Authentication protocoL for Lifetime enhancement In wireless sensor networks called MALLI, which uses a famous structure of hash algorithm 2AMD-160. To demonstrate that, the execution time and the security achieved by the proposed method are more effective than the MD5 and SHA1.

A wireless ad hoc network is a sovereign system in which users can communicate with each other freely. It can be deployed rapidly at a very low cost, and can be easily managed and extended. Topology management has main objective to maintain a topology connectivity that improves wireless network performance by minimizing energy consumption. Also Topology control with cooperative communication was recently research initiated. Cooperative Communication (CC) is a technique that allows no. of nodes to simultaneously transmit the same data. It can save power and extend transmission coverage. Topology management with cooperative communication is new research initiated in the field of Mobile Ad-hoc Network. In this paper, we analyze the effect of multi-traffic on the topology managed MANET. We implemented some applications on different mobility models that is OLSR move and random mobility. To simulate all scenario OPNET 14.5 software is used. OPNET is a comprehensive suite of tools for modelling large wired and wireless networks. It uses simulation and emulation to predict the behaviour and performance of networks to improve their design, operation and management. In the first part of paper, implemented the existed network on the OPNET simulator and evaluate the performance (Download Response Time, Traffic Send and Traffic Receive) of OLSR move based topology control network. In the second part of paper, evaluated the QoS performance(Delay, Download Response Time, Traffic Send and Receive Response) of Random Mobility based topology control network. From the simulation results we observed that compare with OLSR move models, the Random mobility model performance is good. We implemented different traffic pattern on two Topology managed MANET. In the third part of paper, implemented the dynamic traffic pattern like Email, FTP & Voice and video conferencing on the proposed network. Simulation results show that FTP and E-mail both have large download response time in case of OLSR move model rather than Random Mobility model. Traffic send and receive performance of email is good in OLSR-move model. Video Conferencing has good response of traffic send and receive in Random Mobility model.

Development in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) has been a boon to Precision Farming (PF) worldwide. Its immense potential has attracted the attention of researchers in recent years. The sensor nodes, forming the basic blocks of WSNs, along with advanced Wireless Technologies (WTs) help in collecting, storing and sharing various sensed agricultural parameters, thereby enabling control over inputs. It thus helps in resource conservation and is economical. This paper discusses some of the practical challenges facing the precise functioning and implementation of the WSNs. It attempts to give an overview of certain existing WSN systems that utilize different Wireless Technologies (Bluetooth (BT), Wi-Fi, Zigbee and RF) to monitor field parameters such as, irrigation, temperature variation, nutrient and moisture content and pH level of soil for wide and short ranges. The systems are then compared to arrive at an efficient and farmer-friendly system for implementation and also to look at specific areas in the systems that need research to enhance efficiency.

Val IT framework is not related to enterprise architecture frameworks, but rather to IT governance. IT governance is indeed a paradigm in which it is attempted to make all activities and enterprise mechanisms for the planning, organizing, implementation and control of IT aligned and consistent. This study first discusses the introduction of this framework; then, a comparison between this framework and COBIT as well as between enterprise architecture and Val IT will be done.

Over the last two decades, emotions, speech recognition and signal processing have been one of the most significant issues in the adoption of techniques to detect them. Each method has advantages and disadvantages. This paper tries to suggest fuzzy speech emotion recognition based on the classification of speech's signals in order to better recognition along with a higher speed. In this system, the use of fuzzy logic system with 5 layers, which is the combination of neural progressive network and algorithm optimization of firefly, first, speech samples have been given to input of fuzzy orbit and then, signals will be investigated and primary classified in a fuzzy framework. In this model, a pattern of signals will be created for each class of signals, which results in reduction of signal data dimension as well as easier speech recognition. The obtained experimental results show that our proposed method (categorized by firefly), improves recognition of utterances.

An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a defense measure that supervises activities of the computer network and reports the malicious activities to the network administrator. Intruders do many attempts to gain access to the network and try to harm the organization’s data. Thus the security is the most important aspect for any type of organization. Due to these reasons, intrusion detection has been an important research issue. An IDS can be broadly classified as Signature based IDS and Anomaly based IDS. In our proposed work, the decision tree algorithm is developed based on C4.5 decision tree approach. Feature selection and split value are important issues for constructing a decision tree. In this paper, the algorithm is designed to address these two issues. The most relevant features are selected using information gain and the split value is selected in such a way that makes the classifier unbiased towards most frequent values. Experimentation is performed on NSL-KDD (Network Security Laboratory Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining) dataset based on number of features. The time taken by the classifier to construct the model and the accuracy achieved is analyzed. It is concluded that the proposed Decision Tree Split (DTS) algorithm can be used for signature based intrusion detection.

The present paper puts its focus on the design of an efficient prototype Filter bank in the context of Filter Bank based Multi carrier Transmission. A benefit of the chosen technique is that,a near perfect reconstruction polyphase filter can be designed with the aid of closed form expressions with a slight adjustment in parameters of interest. The entire performance of the filters designed is analyzed and evaluated using Offset-OQAM for FBMC system. Optimization or performance tradeoff is readily obtained by appropriately adjusting those free parameters. Whatsoever results are obtainable are presented for useful analysis to the rf design engineers working in the domain of multi rate signal processing for wireless communication. An attempt on NPR Filter bank has also been made and to ensure the acceptable performance of Modified and Enhanced FBMC, computational complexity, system delay and transmission burst length need to be minimized/reduced. A single prototype filter designed may not provide the best performance in terms of all the metrics. The effect of Stop band attenuation on the edges of Magnitude and Frequency responses has been carefully studied. Different Lp, K and M factors have been considered during simulations and the results have been compared analytically.

While relentless spammers exploit the established trust relationships between account owners and their friends to efficiently spread malicious spam, timely detection of compromised accounts is quite challenging due to the well established trust relationship between the service providers, account owners, and their friends. In the proposed system, we propose identification of same user in different social network sites (SNS) and elimination of fake user account from the SNS. This is achieved via checking screen name, photo, friends list, gender, location, birthday and school / college education and working place. Using these behavioral features of user social behavior, it identifies the fake user. In the modification process, apart from the removal of anonymous accounts we also add on identification Friends based on user’s mind set / Interest. We are monitoring Users Interest, Likes posted by the user and Android based mobility pattern analysis. Best friends are identified and security layer is enveloped by monitoring user’s behavior pattern. Vulgar worded posts are removed and the user is terminated in case of misbehavior.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a reliable, versatile, generally available and comparatively accurate positioning technology, able to operate anywhere across the globe. Nevertheless, the most severe limitation of GPS performance will still remain – the accuracy of positioning deteriorates very rapidly when the user receiver loses direct view of the satellites, which typically occurs indoors or in severely obstructed urban environments. In such environments, the majority of receivers do not function at all, and even the high-sensitivity receivers have difficulty in providing coordinates with sub-decameter level accuracies. A new terrestrial radio frequency (RF)- based distance measurement technology, known as ‘Locata’, has now overcome the technical challenges required to create “a localized autonomous terrestrial replica of GPS”. This paper describes some of the technical aspects of this Australian technology and discusses the possible role Locata can play as part of the National Positioning Infrastructure. Locata has developed a new type of antenna which allows industrial-grade, centimeter-level positioning indoors by mitigating multipath by forming and pointing tight beams at the Locata transmitters, significantly reducing the effects of multipath corruption of the direct positioning signal. This paper briefly describes Locata tests conducted in a number of conditions, including indoors, at an open-cut mine, airborne flight testing, and on Sydney Harbour. A new system can be proposed that will be composed of locata along with femtocell to provide users both GPS and GSM services.
