The collection of artistic ceramics for the professional artists’ interior in the ternopil regional museum of local lore

The article highlights the creative activity of Ternopil artists of professional ceramics for the interior in the collection of the Ternopil Regional Museum of Local Lore. The artistic ceramics of the region gained a significant rise in the 1970s and 1990s. At this time in Ukraine, the traditions of folk art were closely intertwined with innovative approaches in meeting the aesthetic needs of the population. The deployment of activities of graduate artists of the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts contributed to the development of professional ceramics. The resource and technological base of the Ternopil Porcelain Factory became an important factor for the realization of their creativity. In our article, we consider decorative works for interior use, such as vases, decorative plates, plaques, small plastic, architectural panels. A selection of works in the museum's collection presents the creative contribution of Vitalij Kolisnyk, including vases, plates, and sculptures. The collection contains the creative Yevhen Ovcharyk’s set of works, such as a portrait of Taras Shevchenko on a porcelain plate and architectural panels, a series of portraits of Hetman Lesya Tomkiv, decorative plates, and plaques by Olga Rybun.
