These days, the public housing maintenance management issue plays an important role in government planning. A commitment to employ the best practices is an assurance to draw on all the knowledge and technology at one's disposal to guarantee success. Best practice is considered by some as a business catchphrase, used to portray the process of developing and following a standard way of doing things that manifold organizations can bring into play. Best practices are used to uphold quality as an option to obligatory legislated standards and can be based on self-assessment or benchmarking.

For many decades of the Soviet period the development of media education in Russia and Ukraine has been practically coinciding. Media educational lessons (mainly on the material of cinematography and the press) were of optional and focal character and depended on the enthusiasm of certain teachers. In theory and methodology the aesthetic and practical approaches predominated. In the 1960es – 1980es the most active was the Kiev group of Ukrainian film educators. Besides study groups, elective courses (aesthetic approach) and film/photo/video studious, school and university amateur newspapers and magazines (practical approach) media education was developing in an integrating form – within the compulsory subjects as literature, history, Russian, Ukrainian and foreign languages. The situation changed in modern times: Russia is leading in media education literacy researches, and Ukraine - in the practical media education in schools.

The protein carbonyl derivatives in plasma and erythrocyte of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) were studied. There were 2 groups: 16 patients with COPD and 17 healthy persons as control subjects. There were statistically significant decreasing of protein carbonyl derivatives in plasma and erythrocytes of patients with COPD. For explaining the decline of carbonyl derivatives in blood of COPD patients the hypothesis was put forward.

The researchers are convinced that for an intensification of educational process in higher education institution it is necessary development of essentially new approaches, forms and the methods of social and pedagogical interaction adequate to new requirements, new pedagogical thinking. Among them we can choose the methods of social and psychological training (SPT) which received their development in experimental psychology by synthesis of wide practical experience educational, creative, administrative, and other types of interrelation between people. These methods conditionally divide on: debatable (group discussion, analysis of a situation of a moral choice), game methods (didactic, creative, role-playing games), sensitive training (training of interpersonal sensitivity) which are formations of independent informative activity of students on the basis of modern technologies, as the mechanism of improvement of independent work. Researches are expressed in search and finding enough effective forms and means of activation of educational and informative process of preparation of young teachers of vocational training, theoretically and practically prepared in the field of the independent informative activity, use the modern technology of training and its further realization in work with students of technical secondary. Hydrazine derivatives are used in different areas: airspace industry, healthcare, laboratory-diagnostic activity, that’s why the environment is subjected to contamination by hydrazines. In this paper we discuss the variety of planar spiral segments and their applications in objects in both the real and artificial world. The discussed curves with monotonic curvature function are well-known in geometric modelling and computer aided geometric design as fair curves, and they are very significant in aesthetic shape modelling. Fair curve segments are used for two-point G1 and G2 Hermite interpolation, as well as for generating aesthetic splines.

Responding to compliments is particularly of great importance for researchers because they require a great deal of pragmatic knowledge. Strategies used in responding to a compliment vary from culture to culture. In order to master a foreign language, to be fully competent in a foreign language it is helpful for students to learn the social values and rules of that society. Not knowing the sociolinguistic rules of the language being used may cause pragmatic failure. This in turn may cause communication breakdown. In the light of these assumptions comparative and contrastive studies of languages can serve to ease the task of comprehending both the linguistic and pragmatic features of a language and the differences between native and the foreign languages. The present study investigates compliment responses (CR) among Russian and Turkish speakers. The data were collected through the use of written Discourse Completion Tasks (DTC), with 12 questions on 4 topics (appearance, ability, possession and personality). Total 30 university students participated in the study.

In this paper the authors consider bioecological peculiarities of some species of medicinal plants, containing cardiac glycosides and their distribution. The paper presents the tables, which contain data of the quantitative content of the amount of cardiac glycosides in the aerial and underground parts of some species of the Cruciferous, Buttercups, etc. in different ecological conditions. The article also introduces the specie of foxglove from the family of figwort, which defines the quantitative content of cardiac glycosides, as the leaves of these plants are a source of raw materials, producing cardiac glycosides.

Basing on the image of St. Metrophanes, probable patron of Suzdal episcopate Mitrophan, holding bishop’s throne from 1227 to 1238 on the panel strip of western gate, we have supposed that both doors of the Suzdal Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin were made in late 1220-1230s. To determine the date of gates manufacture, we have made the stylistical analysis of their décor. The gates style goes back to the second half of XII century, but we have managed to find enough works of the XIII century, bearing features of late-Comnenian epoch style. On the other hand, the style of both western and southern gates bears traces of new ‘monumental’ style of the XII century.
