Basic education infrastructure was damaged during Boko Haram insurgency and reconstructing such infrastructure is essential to sustain recovery in North East Nigeria. The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of reconstruction strategies of poverty alleviation, effective governance, state reconstruction, conflict prevention and peace on basic education infrastructure in post-Boko Haram insurgency in North East, Nigeria. To achieve the purpose, five research questions and hypotheses guided the study. A descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprises of four hundred (400) basic education sector players and actors from Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states was utilized for the study. Data was collected using researcher instrument tagged “Reconstruction Strategies on Basic Education Infrastructure Assessment Questionnaire” (RPBEIAQ). The instrument was validated, and reliability was determined using Cronbach Alpha. The data collected was analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions and z-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The findings show that poverty alleviation, effective governance, state reconstruction, conflict prevention, and peace strategies had a low impact on basic education infrastructure in North East, Nigeria. The study concluded that key players and actors like the federal ministry of education, state ministries of education, local government education authorities, NGOs, civil societies, donor and international aid agencies reconstruction strategies had a low impact on basic education infrastructure. The study also recommended among others that sound poverty alleviation reconstruction strategies should be implemented on basic education infrastructure in North East Nigeria.

The aim of this paper was to accurately and efficiently forecast from multivariate generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedastic models. The Rotated Dynamic Conditional Correlation (RDCC) model with the Normal, Student’s-t and Multivariate Exponential Power distributions for errors were used to account for heavy tails commonly observed in financial time series data. The daily stock price data of Karachi, Bombay, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore stock exchanges from January 2008 to December 2017 were used. The predictive capability of RDCC models, with various error distributions, in forecasting one-day-ahead Value-at-Risk (VaR) was assessed by several back-testing procedures. The empirical results of the study revealed that the RDCC model with Student’s-t distribution produced more accurate and reliable risk forecasts than other competing models.

Osteopetrosis Type 3 with Renal Tubular Acidosis (OPTB3) is a rare inherited autosomal recessive disorder. It is manifested clinically with osteopetrosis, renal tubular acidosis (RTA), cerebral calcification, and growth retardation. Neonatal onset with life-threatening complications warrants a thorough clinical evaluation with an assessment of specialized tests such as x-ray. Here, we discuss a rare case of carbonic anhydrase II deficiency syndrome, presenting with poor feeding and thrombocytopenia, in which the diagnosis was initially missed in the first hospitalization. Upon second admission, re-exanimation of the CXR was suggestive of marble bone disease. Further tests confirmed OPTB3. Following conservative management and family counseling, the patient was discharged in a good general condition. In conclusion, this highlight the need of early identification of the disease, as early appropriate treatment is necessary to improve the patient outcome and prevent complications.

The restaurant industry had a significant decline in demand affecting the service sector in the years 2008 and 2009 according to (INEGI, 2014) indicating that the life expectancy of the restaurants remains very short and that is why this study was made. The purpose is to carry out an analysis from the point of view marketing, taking into account the restaurants of the village of Apizaco, which helps to know if the use of the Geomarketing through its tools has a significant impact that can benefit the sector An analysis of supply and demand for this produced two instruments and in this way we are able to identify the potential opportunities in the industry taking into account the Geomarketing and know the areas that have not been taken into account, will focus mainly on the use of ICT's and social networks which are taking force to drive business regardless if they are small or are already consolidated As result obtained that less than 59 % of the business is not familiar with Geomarketing hardware which prevents them a growth on the market. In the end, a proposal is realized taking into consideration the results that threw the questionnaires of the establishments and of the clients to identify the needs that present the above mentioned establishments and the opportunities that they have of growth, this way to help to make better decisions inside the restaurant industry in the municipality of Apizaco so that it remains and keeps on growing.

Constant change occurs due to globalization, increased pace of competition, vibrant technological advancement, information flow and customers’ awareness among others. The forces subject organizations to challenges as how to respond, handle and mitigate the negative impact of those changes. The resultant uncertainty and volatility lead to a situation where competition is souring and organizations that respond reactively narrows their competitiveness and erodes their market share and sustainability chances. Organizations’ preparedness and pro-activeness are key success factors in terms of resources/capabilities and their use and how these envision and deal with the aforementioned uncertainties. Amid the aggressive external environment, one of the fundamental key agents for change management is the human resource. However, the key question here concerns the roles that HR can assume, and what contribution HR has to the change process and outcomes. This study aims to assess the role of HR in the ongoing process of change in organizations, the interrelation between change management and HR practitioners as catalysts of change and to propose a framework to expose the interrelation between the concept of change and the role of HR in the change process. This is intended to be done by identifying separately the change process then the functions and roles of HR in this process and how these interrelate. This research is exploratory using qualitative analysis based on the literature reported in secondary data and primary data collected using semi-structured interviews to achieve the objectives of the current study. A convenient sample of HR experts and practicing professionals is selected based on their willingness to participate. The outcomes of this research help to identify the role of the Human Resource Practitioners in the process of change, and help to assess the nature of this effect, and how to develop it in a more effective and efficient way for organizations. HR managers and organizational policy makers may benefit from such outcomes.

This article conducting a situational analysis and improvement proposal in the warehouse area in a business of textile twist in the state of Tlaxcala, which is to obtain current information on how the company manages the area described warehouse, in order to find areas of opportunity, both in their characteristics and physical conditions, as and related company busy activities, likewise has detected a steady organizational increased, this leads us to the need to improve or adapt the storage area needs to meet their needs. Punishment in criminal law aims to penalize criminals and to general education and crime prevention. Death penalty is the highest punishment of the State for criminals. Historically, death penalty was a state’s tool to oppress actions against the government, to ensure the political system, and to protect individuals’ life and behaviors causing particularly serious consequences for society. At the present, along with the trend of civilization and humanity, death penalty in Vietnamese criminal law is still valid but to be narrowed down and decreased in enforcement with the forms in which it becomes more humanitarian, in line with Vietnam’s trend of opening and international integration.

This paper investigates the importance of justice and fair dealings in business activities. Twentieth-first century is considered the century of development for globalization and consumerism. Due to this, many other countries had indulged in effects of consumerism. And Islamic countries that have a totally different culture than the western culture, these countries also did not remain free from its influences. While Islamic doctrine has vivid commandments to deal with fair dealings and prohibited to eat others’ wealth wrongfully. But unfortunately, in Muslims societies, unfair dealings and low-quality things are being occurred. This denotes now Muslims are not acting fully upon Islamic doctrines. The proof of low quality may be analyzed from adulteration. Besides this, the low quantity or tricks for short measuring & less weighing are also used in business. These types of tricks are apparently against the consumers but in actual these will be against the sellers in the sense of accountability in the hereafter. In this article, the necessity of fair dealings refers to justice among the individuals of the society that cannot be ignored for the promotion of society. In this paper, a conceptual study regarding some texts of Holy Quran has presented that highlight the importance of just dealings that promote the business and the status of man before the man in the world and in the hereafter, its reward will be awarded to truthful and fair traders.

This research seeks to support the importance of managing human talent during the adoption of quality standards for the automotive industry established in the international standard IATF 16949 conducting an analysis in medium-sized company located in the State of Tlaxcala. The objective is creating strategies for the adoption of work practices that benefit productivity and the creation of quality culture in people inside the Company. The research process includes the review of the main approaches to quality in the world, the evolution of quality in Mexico and the application of quality standards in the automotive industry in the State of Tlaxcala. One of the research techniques used was observation, defined by Bernal (2010) as a scientific technique and a rigorous process that allows know directly the object of study and that also allows to describe and analyze real situations about the studied ones; in this case it was used to evaluate the leadership practices, the production process and the personality of the employees. On the other hand, work climate surveys were used to know and evaluate the relationships among the personnel, the previous audits carried out under the IATF 16949 standard were analyzed in search of areas of opportunity through the comparison between them. Some of the results obtained were, the little commitment of the people from the management towards the objectives of quality, low comprehension of the processes of quality within the organization, organizational culture not consolidated, little sense of identity and loyalty within the organization and a poor internal organization.

Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the association of obesity with preeclampsia in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province of Pakistan. Methodology: This is a case-control study conducted in Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) and Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) Peshawar. Forty pregnant females (aged 15-35 years), with a diagnosis of preeclampsia during their third trimester of pregnancy were taken as cases. The basic diagnosis was made on the basis of pregnancy-induced hypertension (systolic 140 mmHg and above, diastolic 90 mmHg and above). For controls, forty pregnant females (aged 15-35 years) who remained normotensive throughout pregnancy and were in their third trimester were taken. BMI was determined using Asian BMI criteria. Tests of normality were performed and the association between obesity and preeclampsia was determined using the Mann Whitney-U test. Results: The results showed that the distribution of BMI varied among cases and controls, p<0.001. Moreover, stats showed, 33 obese among the 40 cases (preeclamptic), that is about 82.5%. And among the 40 controls (normotensives) there were 25 obese, that is, 62.5%. Conclusions: Hence, it is concluded that preeclampsia is more common among obese women.
