ANÁLISE DA INGESTÃO DE MACRONUTRIENTES EM JOGADORES DO PROFISSIONAL B DA SOCIEDADE ESPORTIVA PALMEIRAS

The objective of the study is to verify the proportionality of a daily macronutrients ingestion in 16 “professional B category” Football players, with average age about 20,9. The Athletes belong to the non-professional Football department of “Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras”, placed in São Paulo. The body composition was determinate trough the coetaneous folds and the nutritional data obtained by a 3 days 24 hours reminder. The athletes showed an average body fat percentage between 77,5±9,7 kg e 11,5±1,4, which represents an ideal number for a football players, was verified an average energy intake between 2456,89 ± 626,33 kcal, a little bit lower than the recommended, what can interfere the performance of the athlete. About the carbohydrate, was founded values between de 5,04 ± 1,78 g/kg/weight and 59,61%, resulting in a quantity close to the lowest limit recommended for this category. The protein results showed values of 19,41%, classified as a hyper-proteic diet, but if the results were measured in relation with a body composition, the result was 1,58 ± 0,40g/kg/weight, classified as a normal-proteic diet. The lipids was resulted in a value of 20,98 ± 5,25%, and was considered lower than dietary recommendation. The final results of this study says how much is primordial the participation of a Nutritionist in the clubs, in order to adequate the diets and foods which must be absorb by the athletes before, during and after training.
