Every nation strives hard to achieve economic development for which adequate infrastructure is required to ac-complish the desired goals. In mountainous terrain, road and highway networks play an important role for trans-portation, public conveyance and other socio-economic activities. Infrastructure development in hilly areas war-rants excavations for the construction or road widening purpose undermining the stability of the slopes. The un-planned excavations of Tertiary rock slopes for construction and/or widening purposes before the political unrest in and around Taiz city have caused the instability of the slopes and thus threatened the very purpose of achieving the economic development. In the present work, evaluation of the stability of 12 rock slopes along road cuts and natural outcrops in and around Taiz city was carried out, employing the Landslide Possibility Index (LPI) system. The results showed that the possibility of failures and the degree of hazard in one rock slope location (No.25) is 'Moderate’, while in the eight rock slope locations (Nos. 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23, 24 and 26) are 'High’. The possi-bility of failure in the slope location Nos. 18 and 19 are 'Very High’ while in the location No. 21 is 'Low’. The areas of'Moderate Hazard’ are represented by granite and jointed rhyolite /dacite rockswhile the slopes of ‘High Hazard’ are represented by different lithologies. The remedial measures for 12 slope locations are suggested based on the degree of possibility of failure and field observations. The intensive field studies indicate that the various causal factors in addition to rainfall have a bearing on causing the instability along the rock slopes of the study area.

The aim of this paper is about single screw extrusion graphical modeling, and automation. At plastic era, indus-trial processes of polymer shaping are becoming more and more complex, with an increasing demand in terms of safety, robustness, productivity gains and quality. This implies a new integrated automation design which is no longer limited to local regulation strategies but combines communication and systems interconnection. A pro-grammable logic controller represents a key factor in industrial automation. It’s an industrial computer control system that continuously monitors the state of input devices and makes decisions based upon a custom program from STEP7 software, to control the state of devices connected as outputs. In fact, in order to automate, to simulate a kind of process, we must first describe the phenomena by a suitable model. The bond-graph approach is based on the decomposition of systems, into sub systems that exchange of power. This approach allows a graphical presentation from which we can deduce the mathematical models. The visualization system for both the automa-tion levels shall be through Human Machine Interface. SIMATIC WinCC system is for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition of the extruder.

Cloud Computing is an information technology concept which plays a vital role in the data processing and data storing. It also plays a crucial role in the Internet of Things (IoT). The data stored in the cloud should be secured to prevent the unauthorized access. There comes a data security concept known as Encryption. In order to maintain the users Privacy and the security of the data is stored in the cloud in the encrypted or cipher-text format. By this, only the encrypted data is going to be stored in the cloud which reduces the usage of the storage devices up to a great extent. This is mainly used for storing very large size datasets like for the big data. We have a lot of deduplication schemes which avoids the duplicate data, but the main problem with those schemes are lack of security and lack of tractability for the secure data access control. Due to these two problems very few of them are taken into practice. In this, we used a scheme known as Attribute based Encryption to deduplicated the encrypted data to provide secure data access control.

Increase in the power demand requires the development of EHV AC double circuit and high power carrying capacity lines. Generally, the power generating stations are far away from the distribution network and to connect the power surplus region to power deficit region we need long EHV AC double circuit transmission lines to carry large amount of power. But the long EHV AC transmission lines are limited by their SIL (Surge Impedance Loading) limit which is much below the thermal limit of conductor due to large inductive reactance of the line. SIL depends on various factors and geometrical arrangement of double circuit transmission lines i.e. bundle spacing, diameter of conductor, no. of sub-conductors per phase, etc. In this paper an attempt is made to present various techniques implemented on EHV AC double circuit transmission lines to improve SIL level and also its effect on corona loss is shown with the help of mathematical programming in Matlab software. In this paper various double circuit configuration and its comparison is also presented.

To facilitate the user with service continuity there is a need to combine various wireless access technologies so that user gets non interrupted service. Now a day there are various wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi which allow the user seamless connectivity to the internet. But range of Wi-Fi is limited. Thus by providing the horizontal handoff between two Wi-Fi networks using different routing protocols such as AODV, AOMDV and DSDV we can create a wireless solution which can provide efficient speed and coverage for mobile users. In this context comparison of three routing protocols for handoff is an important parameter which defines the switching between the two networks using different routing protocols. In this paper we use AODV, AOMDV and DSDV protocol to analyse the performance of horizontal handover between two Wi-Fi networks.
