Öz Son yıllarda Termokimyasal Isı Depolama (THS) sistemleri ve bu sistemlerin gelişimi açısından büyük öneme sahip olan depolama malzemeleriyle ilgili çalışmalar ilgi görmektedir. Bu çalışma için, sorbent tuzların (MgCl2, LiNO3) gözenekli doğal bir kayaç olan vermikülit (V) içerisine emdirilmesiyle iki farklı kompozit malzeme hazırlanmıştır. Elde edilen kompozit yapıların döngüsel ısı depolama davranışları laboratuvar ortamında oluşturulan termokimyasal ısı değiştirici prototip test düzeneği ile gerçekleştirilen ölçümlerle incelenmiştir. Buna göre, V+MgCl2 kompozitinin tekrar eden döngüler sırasında stabilitesinin ve prototipte gerçekleştirilen ölçümler sonucunda hesaplanan enerji depolama yoğunluğu (Ed) değerinin, DSC analizinden elde edilen sonuçlarla uyumlu olarak, V+LiNO3 kompozitine göre daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Abstract In recent years, Thermochemical Heat Storage (THS) systems and storage materials are important for the development of these systems have attracted a great interest. In this study, composite materials were prepared by impregnating sorbent salts (MgCl2, LiNO3) into vermiculite (V). The cyclical heat storage behaviors of the obtained composite structures were investigated with the laboratory scale thermochemical heat exchanger prototype system. Accordingly, the stability of the V+MgCl2 composite during repeated cycles and the energy storage density (Ed) value calculated as a result of the measurements in the prototype were found to be higher than the V+LiNO3 composite, as in the DSC analysis results.

Abstract Topology optimization has become a valuable tool in the aerospace industry, enabling engineers to develop aircraft components with improved performance characteristics while reducing their weight. The technique has also allowed for the design of complex structures that were previously unattainable using traditional manufacturing methods. In this study, a comprehensive topology optimization of the steering pump housing for an aircraft's nose landing gear was performed using the nTopology software. The primary objective of this optimization was to reduce the weight of the steering pump housing while preserving its mechanical properties, which are essential for safe and reliable operation of the nose landing gear system. The study demonstrates the potential for topology optimization to be an effective tool for reducing the weight of aircraft components while preserving their mechanical properties. This approach can be applied to other aircraft components with similar design challenges, and could potentially lead to significant weight savings in the overall design of the aircraft. Öz Topoloji optimizasyonu, havacılık endüstrisinde önemli bir yöntem ve mühendislerin, ağırlıklarını azaltırken yüksek performanslı uçak bileşenleri geliştirmelerini sağlamıştır. Ayrıca, daha önce geleneksel imalat yöntemleri kullanılarak üretilmesi mümkün olamayacak karmaşık yapıların tasarımına da olanak sağlamıştır. Bu çalışmada, nTopology yazılımı kullanılarak bir uçağın iniş takımları için direksiyon pompası muhafazasının kapsamlı topoloji optimizasyonu gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu optimizasyonun birincil amacı, iniş takımı sisteminin emniyetli ve güvenilir çalışması için gerekli olan mekanik özelliklerini korurken direksiyon pompası mahfazasının ağırlığını azaltmaktır. Çalışma, topoloji optimizasyonunun, mekanik özelliklerini korurken uçak bileşenlerinin ağırlığını azaltmak için etkili bir araç olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu yaklaşım, benzer tasarım zorluklarına sahip uçak bileşenlerine uygulanarak, potansiyel olarak uçağın genel tasarımında önemli ağırlık tasarrufları sağlayabilecektir.

Öz Güç sistemlerinde, 2 kHz ile 150 kHz aralığındaki bozulmalar “Supraharmonikler” (SH) olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Supraharmonikler yeni bir kavram olmamakla birlikte; araştırmacılar, mühendisler ve son kullanıcıya yönelik cihaz üreticilerinin dikkatini ancak son yıllarda çekmektedir. Elektrikli/elektronik cihazların piyasaya arz edilebilmesi için gerekli olan elektromanyetik uyumluluk (EMC) testleri, harmonik akımların ölçülmesini (50 Hz-2000 Hz) ve iletimle yayınım değerlerinin ölçülmesini zorunlu kılmaktadır. Ancak supraharmonik aralığındaki çalışmalar ve araştırmalar oldukça sınırlıdır. Fotovoltaik enerji sistemleri, elektrikli araç hızlı şarj istasyonları, yüksek hızlı dijital haberleşme sistemleri gibi yüksek güçlü ve kHz mertebelerinde anahtarlama yapan yarı-iletken teknolojilerini kullanan sistemler yaygınlaştıkça, supraharmonikler de güç dağıtım sistemlerinde etkin olmaya ve sorunlara yol açmaya başlamışlardır. Elektrikli ve elektronik cihazlar, anahtarlamalı güç elektroniği cihazları ve güç hattından haberleşebilen (PLC) cihazların daha fazla kullanımı nedeniyle oluşan yüksek frekanslı bozucu etkilerle mücadele günümüzde daha da öne çıkmaktadır. Son yıllarda yapılan araştırmalarda; 2 kHz ile 150 kHz arasında ortaya çıkan bozucu etkilerin akıllı sayaçlarda ölçüm hatalarına, elektrikle çalışan cihazlarda ise duyulabilen gürültüye, arızalara ve performans azalmalarına yol açtığı ortaya konmuştur. Bu çalışmada, supraharmoniklerin kaynaklarına, cihazlarda ve şebekelerde yol açtığı sorunlara, supraharmoniklerin ölçüm yöntemleri ve ilgili standartlara, seçilen cihazların supraharmonik benzetimine ve ölçüm yoluyla analizlerine yer verilmektedir. Ölçümler ve benzetim sonuçları göstermektedir ki, cihaz tasarımlarında yalnızca EMC gereksinimlerine odaklanmak, supraharmonik bileşenlerinin ihmal edilmesine, dolayısıyla şebekede ve diğer cihazlarda olumsuz etkilenmelere neden olabilmektedir. Although supraharmonics are not a new concept; It has only attracted the attention of researchers, engineers and manufacturers of end-user devices in recent years. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests, which are required for placing electrical/electronic devices on the market, require the measurement of harmonic currents (50 Hz-2000 Hz) and the measurement of conducted emission values. However, studies and research in the supraharmonic range are quite limited. As systems using semi-conductor technologies with high power and switching in the kHz range such as photovoltaic energy systems, electric vehicle fast charging stations, high speed digital communication systems become widespread, supraharmonics have also begun to be effective in power distribution systems and cause problems. Today, the struggle against high-frequency disturbances caused by the increased use of electrical and electronic devices, switched power electronic devices and power line communication (PLC) devices is even more prominent. Research conducted in recent years have revealed that disturbances between 2 kHz and 150 kHz cause measurement errors in smart meters, audible noise, malfunctions and performance reductions in electrical devices. In this study, sources of supraharmonics, the problems they cause in devices and networks, measurement methods of supraharmonics and related standards, supraharmonic simulation of sample devices and analysis by measurement are given. Measurements and simulation results show that focusing only on EMC requirements in device designs can cause supraharmonics to be neglected, thus negatively affecting the network and other devices.

Öz Covid-19 pandemisi insanların alışveriş alışkanlıklarını değiştirerek, özellikle internet üzerinden online alışveriş sitelerine yönelmelerine yol açmıştır. Artan sipariş oranları karşısında üretici ve tedarikçi firmalar için ise, siparişleri toplama ve zamanında ulaştırma noktasında yenilikçi çözümler üretmek kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Pandemi nedeniyle de kısıtlı sayıda insan gücü kullanmak zorunda kalan firmalar/tedarikçiler bu sorunu makine kullanımı ile çözümleme yoluna gitmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada tedarik zincirinde siparişlerin toplanma ve dağıtılma aşamaları için geliştirilen düşük maliyetli yeni bir Sipariş Toplama ve Dağıtım Sistemi uygulaması anlatılmaktadır. Tedarik zincirinin bu aşaması en sorunlu, zaman alıcı ve fazla maliyet kapsamaktadır. Genel olarak önerilen çözümlerde de daha fazla insan kaynağı kullanılmaktadır. Bu uygulama ile zaman, insan gücü, depo alanı ve maliyet noktalarında daha verimli bir sistem oluşturmak amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda prototip bir Sipariş Toplama ve Dağıtım Sistemi uygulaması tasarımı yapılıp imalatı gerçekleştirilmiş ve gerçek zamanlı uygulaması yapılmıştır. Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic has changed people's shopping habits, causing them to turn to online shopping sites, especially on the internet. In the face of increasing order rates, it has become inevitable for manufacturers and suppliers to produce innovative solutions for collecting orders and delivering them on time. Companies/suppliers who had to use a limited number of manpower due to the pandemic have tried to solve this problem with the use of machinery. In this study, a new low-cost Order Picking and Distribution System application developed for the stages of order picking and distribution in the supply chain is described. This stage of the supply chain is the most problematic, time-consuming and costly. In general, more human resources are used in the proposed solutions. With this application, it is aimed to create a more efficient system in terms of time, manpower, warehouse space and cost. For this purpose, a prototype Order Picking and Distribution System application was designed, manufactured and implemented in real time.

Abstract In this paper, a hybrid model chipless radio frequency identification (RFID) tag is introduced. It is constructed by using multi-resonator circuit with a bandstop filter simultaneously. Bandstop filter section is conventionally designed by quarter-wave open-circuited stubs, while the multi-resonator circuit is developed by coupling dual-band co-directional split ring resonators (CDSRRs) to a feeding line. Each stub and CDSRR can provide two and four frequency codes, respectively. The open-circuited stubs can form the resonant frequencies within wide frequency range, while the CDSRRs have notch band characteristics. The proposed hybrid model approach has the ability of combining notch and wide band resonant frequencies on a single circuit. A 12-bit chipless RFID tag is designed by locating two wideband monopole antennas vertically and horizontally at the end of the multi-resonator circuit. Çoklu rezonatör devresi çift bantlı eş yönlü ayrık halka rezonatörlerin (CDSRR) bir besleme hattına kuplajlanmasıyla geliştirilirken, bant durduran filtre bölümü çeyrek dalga boyunda açık devre sonlandırmalı saplamalar kullanarak tasarlanmaktadır. Her yan hat ve CDSRR, sırasıyla iki ve dört frekans kodu sağlayabilmektedir. CDSRRlar çentik bant karakteristiğine sahipken, açık devre saplamalar rezonans frekanslarını geniş frekans aralığında oluşturabilmektedir. Önerilen hibrit model yaklaşımı, çentik ve geniş bant rezonans frekanslarını tek bir devre üzerinde birleştirme yeteneğine sahiptir. 12 bitlik çipsiz bir RFID etiketi, çoklu rezonatör devresinin ucuna dikey ve yatay olarak iki geniş bant monopol anten yerleştirilerek tasarlanmaktadır. Abstract Multi-criteria recommender systems provide efficient solutions to deal with information overload problem by producing personalized recommendations considering multiple criteria. Even though multi-criteria recommender systems provide more accurate and personalized recommendations to their users compared with traditional recommender systems, sparsity becomes a major problem for such systems due to the increasing number of criteria. Due to the lack of co-rated items among users, finding out neighbors and producing accurate predictions become harder. Especially similarity-based multi-criteria recommendation approaches are significantly affected by the sparsity problem. Thus, aiming to minimize the negative impacts of that problem, a hybrid similarity-based multi-criteria recommendation method, that utilizes complex, low-dimensional and latent features obtained from both reviews and criteria ratings by autoencoders, is proposed in this work. The empirical results performed on a real data set with a sparsity percentage of 99.7235% show that the proposed work can provide more accurate predictions compared with other neighborhood-based multi-criteria approaches. Çoklu-ölçütlü öneri sistemleri, aşırı bilgi sorunuyla başa çıkmak için birden fazla ölçütü dikkate alarak kişiselleştirilmiş öneriler üreterek etkili çözümler sunar. Çoklu-ölçütlü öneri sistemleri, geleneksel öneri sistemlerine göre kullanıcılarına daha doğru ve kişiselleştirilmiş öneriler sunsa da, artan kriter sayısı nedeniyle seyreklik bu tür sistemler için önemli bir sorun haline gelmektedir. Kullanıcılar arasında ortak puanlanan ögelerin olmamasndan dolayıı, komşuları bulmak ve doğru tahminler üretmek zorlaşmaktadır. Özellikle benzerlik-tabanlı çoklu-ölçütlü öneri yaklaşımları, seyreklik probleminden önemli ölçüde etkilenmektedir. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada, bu sorunun olumsuz etkilerini en aza indirmek amacıyla, hem yorum hem de ölçüt derecelendirmelerinden otokodlayıcılar ile çıkarılan karmaşık, düşük boyutlu ve gizli özellikleri kullanan hibrit benzerlik-tabanlı çoklu-ölçütlü bir öneri algoritması önerilmiştir. Seyreklik yüzdesi %99,7235 olan gerçek bir veri seti üzerinde gerçekleştirilen deneysel sonuçlar, önerilen çalışmanın diğer komşuluk-tabanlı çok kriterli yaklaşımlara kıyasla daha doğru tahminler sağlayabildiğini göstermektedir. Öz Bu çalışmada sismik taban yalıtımlı bir yapıda katlara yerleştirilmiş ivmeölçerler tarafından 1994 Northridge depreminde elde edilen ivme kayıtları kullanılarak yapı davranışı Zaman-Frekans analizi yaklaşımıyla belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada zaman-frekans ortamında sürekli dalgacık dönüşümü yöntemi kullanılarak yapı dinamik özelliklerinin zaman içerisindeki değişimleri gözlenmiştir. Buna göre, sismik taban yalıtımının etkisi ile kuvvetli yer hareketinin önemli miktarda enerji içeriğine sahip yüksek frekanslı bileşenlerinin üst yapıya aktarımının belirgin bir şekilde azaldığı anlık olarak izlenmiştir. Taban yalıtımlı yapıda deprem etkisinin ve üst yapıdaki davranış kinematiğinin ve tasarım kuvvetlerinin değişimlerini zaman ve frekans ortamlarında vermesi yapı davranışının frekans muhteviyatının zamanla nasıl değiştiğini göstermesi açısından etkin bir yöntem olduğu görülmüştür. Abstract In this study, structural characteristics and response characteristics of a base isolated building are evaluated in Time-Frequency domain. Structure story responses and earthquake data set were recorded by the accelerometer network during the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Time-frequency domain continuous wavelet transform is used to monitor the variations of structural frequencies in time. In accordance with the efficiency of the base isolation, reduction of significant energy transmission to upper structure in the higher frequency range is traced instantaneously. The seismic base isolation performance of the observed structure can be identified and understood clearly in the time-frequency domain also. It has been observed that the time-frequency analysis is a very efficient method in terms of showing the variations of the earthquake effect and the behavior kinematics and design forces in the superstructure in time and frequency domain.

Abstract In this study, lightweight concrete was investigated by using perlite (Pe), pumice (Pu), and waste rubber aggregates (R). The changes in compressive strength of lightweight concrete were investigated, while ultrasonic pulse velocity and density properties were compared after high-temperature exposure (300, 500 ℃). In this context, 11 different types of mixtures were produced. Combinations were formed by keeping the w/c ratio constant. As a result of the experiments, increases in compressive strength were determined at 300 ℃ in general. The compressive strengths of concretes produced using waste rubber aggregates were lower than concretes using pumice and perlite aggregates. It was determined that concrete made using waste rubber exhibited more ductile fracture during compression loading. Öz Bu çalışmada perlit (Pe), pomza (Pu) ve atık kauçuk agregaları (R) kullanılarak üretilen hafif betonların performansları incelenmiştir. Hafif betonun basınç dayanımındaki değişimler incelenirken, yüksek sıcaklığa (300, 500 ℃) maruz kaldıktan sonra ultrasonik ses geçiş hızı ve yoğunluk özellikleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu kapsamda 11 farklı karışım üretilmiştir. Kombinasyonlar s/ç oranı sabit tutularak oluşturulmuştur. Yapılan deneyler sonucunda genel olarak 300 ℃ sonrasında basınç dayanımında artışlar tespit edilmiştir. Atık kauçuk agrega kullanılarak üretilen betonların basınç dayanımları, pomza ve perlit agrega kullanılarak üretilen betonlara göre daha düşük olmuştur. Abstract In this study, bacterial cellulose (BC) was obtained from Komagataeibacter xylinus S4 and characterized in detail. The effects of a various of carbon sources and media, different pH conditions, incubation temperatures, Surface area/Volume ratios, and incubation durations were determined for BC production. Considering the carbon types, the amount of BC production from high to low was realized as sucrose, fructose, mannitol, xylose, arabinose, and lactose. The highest BC amount (1.303 g/L) was achieved by combining M1A05P5 broth, 30 °C, 1.06 cm-1 Surface area/Volume ratio, pH 3.5 and 21 days. According to scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis, the cellulose fibril diameters were 34.87-45.97 nm at pH 3.5 and 29.71-102.3 nm at pH 6.5 in M1A05P5. Also, TGA analysis exhibited that the weight loss of BC in the removal of water step initialized between 50 °C and 150 °C and the degradation step initialized between 215 °C and 228 °C. Finally, the electrical conductivity values of the BC samples were determined on the 27-137 °C temperature scale. It was observed that the conductivity was temperature dependent, and the conductivity increased exponentially as the temperature increased. In conclusion, the cellulose from K. xylinus S4 typically showed a semiconducting behavior. Öz Bu çalışmada, Komagataeibacter xylinus S4'ten elde edilen bakteriyel selüloz (BS) detaylı şekilde karakterize edilmiştir. Çeşitli karbon kaynakları ve ortamlarının, farklı pH şartları, sıcaklıklar, yüzey alanı/hacim oranları ve inkübasyon zamanlarının BS üretimine etkisi tespit edilmiştir. Karbon tipleri gözönüne alındığında, yüksekten düşüğe doğru BS üretim miktarı, sükroz, fruktoz, mannitol, ksiloz, arabinoz ve laktoz şeklinde gerçekleşmiştir. En yüksek BS miktarına (1.303 g/L), M1A05P5 sıvı besiyeri, 30 °C sıcaklık, 1.06 cm-1 yüzey alanı/hacim oranı, pH 3.5 ve 21 gün kombinasyonunda ulaşılmıştır. Taramalı elektron mikroskobu (SEM) analizine göre M1A05P5 ortamında üretilen bakteriyel selüloz liflerinin çapları pH 3.5'te 34.87-45.97 nm değerindeyken pH 6.5 değerine yükseldiğinde lif çapları 29.71-102.3 nm olarak ölçülmüştür. Ayrıca, TGA analizi, BS numunelerinde dehidrasyon adımındaki ağırlık kaybının 50 °C ile 150 °C arasında, bozunma adımının ise 215 °C ile 228 °C arasında başladığını göstermiştir. Son olarak, BS örneklerinin elektriksel iletkenlik değerleri 27-137 °C sıcaklık skalasında tespit edildi. İletkenliğin sıcaklığa bağlı olduğu ve sıcaklık arttıkça iletkenliğin üstel olarak arttığı gözlendi. Sonuç olarak, K. xylinus S4 selülozu tipik olarak yarı iletken bir davranış göstermiştir. Abstract In the cup drawing process, the tensile stress in the radial direction is dominant during the drawing. However, the sheet bends around the punch and die radiuses, and the fibers touching the punch and die are exposed to compression, while the outer surfaces are exposed to tension. Therefore, the stress state at the radius regions of punch and die becomes complicated to overcome due to the bending and may influence the final earing form. The present study investigates the influence of a plasticity model involving an advanced yield criterion coupled with a combined hardening model on the earing prediction in the cup drawing process of AA6016-T4 aluminum alloy. Therefore, isotropic hardening and combined hardening models are implemented, respectively so as to show the kinematic hardening effect on the earing prediction performance. The combined hardening model comprises Armstrong-Frederic kinematic hardening and isotropic hardening rules together to characterize the hardening behavior of the sheet, and the parameters of the hardening model were obtained by considering a reversal shear test. A sixth-order polynomial-based yield criterion was implemented to represent the anisotropic response of the sheet successfully. The Hill48 yield criterion was also considered in the present study for comparison purposes. The analyses were conducted based on the additive plasticity approach and using the implicit stress update scheme in Marc commercial software. The punch force-displacement responses and earing profile predictions were obtained numerically and compared with the experimental outcomes. It was seen that introducing the combined hardening model enhances the earing prediction capability for both yield criteria. With the incorporation of the combined hardening rule, the improvement in the prediction of the earing profile was more apparent in HomPol6 results compared to Hill48. The HomPol6 yield criterion coupled with the combined hardening rule led to a better agreement in the prediction of ear formation. The combined hardening model comprises Armstrong-Frederic kinematic hardening and isotropic hardening rules together to characterize the hardening behavior of the sheet, and the parameters of the hardening model were obtained by considering a reversal shear test. A sixth-order polynomial-based yield criterion was implemented to represent the anisotropic response of the sheet successfully. The Hill48 yield criterion was also considered in the present study for comparison purposes. The analyses were conducted based on the additive plasticity approach and using the implicit stress update scheme in Marc commercial software. The punch force-displacement responses and earing profile predictions were obtained numerically and compared with the experimental outcomes. It was seen that introducing the combined hardening model enhances the earing prediction capability for both yield criteria. With the incorporation of the combined hardening rule, the improvement in the prediction of the earing profile was more apparent in HomPol6 results compared to Hill48. The HomPol6 yield criterion coupled with the combined hardening rule led to a better agreement in the prediction of ear formation. Öz Kap çekme işlemi esnasında, radyal yön boyunca çekme gerilmesi mevcuttur. Bununla birlikte şekillendirilecek sac, zımba ve kalıp köşelerinin etrafında bükülmektedir ve köşelere temas eden iç yüzeyler basma gerilmesi etkisi altındayken, dış yüzeyler ise çekme etkisi altındır. Bu durum sacın zımba ve kalıp köşelerinde bükülen bölümlerindeki gerilme durumunu karmaşık bir hale getirmektedir ve nihai kulak formunu etkileyebilmektedir. Bu çalışma, gelişmiş bir akma fonksiyonu ve bir birleşik pekleşme modeli içeren bir plastisite modelinin kulaklanma tahmin performansını incelemektedir. Bu kapsamda AA6016-T4 alüminyum alaşımının derin çekme işlemi incelenmiştir. Birleşik pekleşme modelinin kulaklanma tahmin performansına etkisini daha net ortaya koymak amacıyla, izotropik ve birleşik pekleşme kuralları ayrı ayrı analizlere entegre edilmiştir. Malzemenin pekleşme davranışını tanımlamak amacıyla kullanılan birleşik pekleşme modeli, Armstrong-Frederic kinematik pekleşme ve izotropik pekleşme modellerinin birleşimidir ve birleşik pekleşme modelinin parametreleri bir tersinir kayma testinin verileri kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Sacın anizotropik davranışını isabetli bir şekilde tanımlamak amacıyla altıncı dereceden homojen polinom tabanlı bir akma fonksiyonu kullanılmıştır. HomPol6 kriterinin tahmin performansını göstermek için simülasyonlar Hill48 akma kriteri kullanılarak da yürütülmüştür. Simülasyonlar Marc ticari yazılımında eklemeli plastisite yaklaşımı ve kapalı zaman adımlı gerilme güncelleme şeması kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Zımba kuvvet-deplasman davranışları ve kulak profil tahminleri sayısal olarak elde edilmiş ve deneysel sonuçlarla kıyaslanmıştır. Birleşik pekleşme modelinin kulaklanma tahmin yeteneğini iki akma kriteri için de iyileştirdiği görülmüştür. Bu iyileşmenin HomPol6 sonuçları için daha belirgin olduğu da kaydedilmiştir. Abstract In this study, faculty-level university course timetabling problem with double major and minor program constraints where classrooms are shared with several faculties is taken into account. This is the first study considering all these constraints together. A goal programming model is proposed to solve the considered problem. Since it is not possible to find a feasible solution for large-size problems with the proposed model in a time limit, a simulated annealing algorithm is developed. The performance of the proposed solution methods is tested by using randomly generated test problems. In addition, a case study is performed at the engineering faculty of a private university. Computational results show the success of the proposed simulated annealing algorithm to solve large-sized problems. An 83% improvement was achieved with the proposed algorithm for the real-life problem. Öz Bu çalışmada, dersliklerin fakülteler arasında paylaşıldığı, çift anadal ve yan dal kısıtlarının olduğu fakülte seviyesinde üniversite ders çizelgeleme problemi ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışma, tüm bu kısıtları bir arada ele alan ilk çalışmadır. Ele alınan problemi çözmek için bir hedef programlama modeli önerilmiştir. Önerilen model ile büyük boyutlu problemler için süre limiti içinde uygun çözüm bulmak mümkün olmadığından, bir tavlama benzetimi algoritması geliştirilmiştir. Önerilen çözüm yöntemlerinin performansı rassal türetilmiş test problemleri kullanılarak sınanmıştır. Ayrıca özel bir üniversitenin mühendislik fakültesinde vaka çalışması yapılmıştır. Deneysel sonuçlar, önerilen tavlama benzetimi algoritmasının büyük boyutlu problemleri çözmedeki başarısını ortaya koymuştur. Gerçek hayat problemi için önerilen algoritma ile %83 oranında iyileşme sağlanmıştır. Abstract Indoor localization involves pinpointing the location of an object in an interior space and has several applications, including navigation, asset tracking, and shift management. However, this technology has not yet been perfected, and many methods, such as triangulation, Kalman filters, and machine learning models have been proposed to address indoor localization problems. Unfortunately, these methods still have a large degree of error that makes them ill-suited for difficult cases in real-time. In this study, we propose a hybrid model for Bluetooth low energy-based indoor localization. In this model, the triangulation method is combined with several machine learning methods (naïve Bayes, k-nearest neighbor, logistic regression, support vector machines, and artificial neural networks) that are optimized and tested in three different environments. In the experiment, the proposed model performed similarly to the solo triangulation model in easy and medium cases; however, the proposed model obtained a much smaller degree of error for hard cases than either solo triangulation or machine learning models alone. Öz İç mekân konumlandırma, bir nesnenin iç mekândaki konumunun tam olarak belirlenmesi olarak tanımlanabilir ve navigasyon, varlık takibi ve vardiya yönetimi olmak üzere bir çok uygulama alanı bulunmaktadır. İç mekân konumlandırma problemlerini çözmek için üçgenleme, Kalman filtreleri ve makine öğrenmesi modelleri gibi birçok yöntem önerilmiştir ancak hala istenilen başarı oranları elde edilememiştir. Bu yöntemler deney ortamlarında başarılı sonuçlar elde etse de, gerçek zamanlı durumlarda hata oranları çok fazla olabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Bluetooth düşük enerji tabanlı iç mekân konumlandırma için hibrit bir model önerilmiştir. Bu modelde, üçgenleme yöntemini, üç farklı ortamda optimize edilmiş ve test edilmiş birkaç makine öğrenmesi yöntemiyle (Naive Bayes, k-en yakın komşu, lojistik regresyon, destek vektör makineleri ve yapay sinir ağları) birleştiren hibrit bir yaklaşım kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada önerilen model, kolay ve orta durumlarda üçgenleme modeline benzer şekilde performans göstermiş; ancak önerilen model, zor durumlar için üçgenleme veya tek başına makine öğrenimi modellerinden çok daha küçük bir hata oranı elde etmiştir. Abstract Determination of the optimal route in transportation activities is one of the major problems in transportation. Therefore, efficient techniques deserve our utmost attention to detect optimal routes. In this study, a novel method called Cluster Path Covering (CPC) has been developed and introduced to identify a route based on a sequence of location points on a network. There are already models to minimize the total path cost between the pair of nodes following a kind of sequence. However, our method aims to minimize the path cost, including the neighbourhood accessibility of the path nodes on the network. One of the major challenges for the new model is to reveal the accessibility costs between the nodes. The methodology presents the CPC method clustering the location points on a network and indicating the optimum point for each cluster. Then, the CPC method generates the best path by connecting the specific location points representing the clusters. Moreover, the shortest covering of the neighbourhood path problem (SCNPP) is introduced in this study. The novel CPC method is utilized for SCNPP, a distinctive version of the shortest covering path problem (SCPP). The performance of the CPC method is then tested on two different benchmark networks. According to the results, it provides robust and efficient outcomes for decreasing the routes' transportation costs (e.g., distances). The issues that can be solved via the CPC method include the accessibility costs of public transportation paths and the locations of stops by minimizing the costs. Öz En uygun güzergâhın belirlenmesi ulaşım faaliyetlerindeki en büyük sorunlardan biridir. Bu nedenle, en uygun rotaları tespit etmek için etkili teknikler kullanılmalıdır. Bu çalışmada, bir ağ üzerindeki konum noktaları dizisine dayalı bir rotayı tanımlamak için Küme Yolu Kaplama (CPC) adı verilen özgün bir yöntem geliştirilmiş ve tanıtılmıştır. Bir dizi üzerindeki düğüm noktaları çiftleri arasındaki toplam yol maliyetini en aza indirecek modeller hâlihazırda bulunmaktadır. Ancak bizim yöntemimiz, ağdaki düğümlerin komşu olduğu muhite erişilebilirliğini de göz önünde bulundurarak yol maliyetini en aza indirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu yöntem, kümeleri temsil eden düğüm noktalarını birbirine bağlayarak en iyi yolu oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada, komşu muhiti kaplayan en kısa yol probleminin (SCNPP) tanımı yapılmıştır. Yeni CPC yöntemi, kaplayan en kısa yol probleminin (SCPP) ayırt edici bir versiyonu olan SCNPP için kullanılmaktadır. İlaveten, CPC yönteminin performansı iki farklı kıyaslama ağında test edilmiştir. Sonuçlara göre CPC yöntemi, güzergâhların ulaşım maliyetlerini (mesafeler gibi) azaltmak için güçlü ve etkin neticeleri bize sağlamaktadır. This study, which is carried out in this holistic framework, is based upon the temporal and spatial assessment of drought phenomenon on the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform through the use of remotely-sensed data. For this purpose, Temperature Condition Index (TCI), Vegetation Condition Index (VCI) and Vegetation Health Index (VHI) were calculated both for the recent period (2018-2021) and the previous periods (the years 2002, 2005, 2010 and 2015) examined through July and January months and the agricultural drought situation was revealed in this way.

Abstract In this study, a Co/MMT catalyst was synthesized by pillaring method using montmorillonite (MMT) as a support material for hydrogen production by hydrolysis reaction from sodium borohydride (NaBH4) solution. N2 sorption, XRD, SEM-EDS, and FTIR spectroscopy techniques were used for catalyst characterization. To optimize the amount of hydrogen obtained as a result of the hydrolysis reaction, the NaBH4 concentration (0.3-0.5 M), the sodium hydroxide (NaOH) concentration (0.3-0.5 M), the amount of catalyst (20-50 mg) and the reaction temperature (30-50 °C) were investigated. The optimal conditions obtained from the Box-Behnken analysis were 50 °C, 0.33 M NaBH4, 39 mg catalyst, 0.46 M NaOH, and the maximum reaction rate (hydrogen production) was 2328 mL min-1 gcat -1at standard temperature and pressure (298K,1atm). According to the analysis of variance, it was found that all parameters had a significant effect on the hydrogen production rate. Öz Bu çalışmada, destek malzemesi olarak Montmorillonit (MMT) kullanılarak sütunlama yöntemiyle Co/MMT katalizörü, sodyum borhidrür (NaBH4) çözeltisinden hidroliz reaksiyonu ile hidrojen üretimi için sentezlenmiştir. Katalizör karakterizasyonu için N2 sorpsiyon, XRD, SEM-EDS ve FTIR spektroskopi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Hidroliz reaksiyonu sonucunda elde edilen hidrojen miktarını optimize etmek amacıyla, NaBH4 konsantrasyonu (0.3-0.5 M), sodyum hidroksit (NaOH) konsantrasyonu (0.3-0.5 M), katalizör miktarı (20-50 mg) ve reaksiyon sıcaklığı (30-50 °C) gibi parametrelerin etkisi incelenmiştir. Box-Behnken analizinden elde edilen optimal koşullar 50 °C, 0.33M NaBH4, 39 mg katalizör, 0.46 M NaOH olup, maksimum reaksiyon (hidrojen üretim) hızı standart sıcaklık ve basınç koşullarında (298K, 1atm) (2328 mL dak-1 gcat -1 olarak bulunmuştur. Abstract In the Coke Plant of KARDEMIR, coking coal is charged to the furnaces, the hot coke is obtained after 18-21 hours of coking is discharged to the quenching wagon via the guide car with the help of the pusher machine. The hot coke is quenched by water spraying in the quenching towers and is poured into the coke ramp. The metallurgical coke is sized in the Coke Crushing and Screening Plant and sent to the blast furnaces. In the blast furnace process, the use of metallurgical coke with high CSR values obtained from high quality coking coals is preferred. In the blast furnace process, it is preferred to use metallurgical coke with CSR values in the range of 60-70% obtained from high quality coking coals. However, the reserves of high quality coal beds are decreasing day by day. In this study, it is aimed to increase the CSR value of metallurgical coke by spraying various concentrations of boron solutions in order to obtain the same efficiency from low quality coals. In this way, low quality coals in the coal blend in metallurgical coke production will be used at higher rates and raw material costs will be reduced. Solutions prepared with three different boron products and various concentrations were applied to the hot coke obtained at 1050±50 °C in coke ovens, and its effects on the alteration of coke strength after reaction (CSR) values were investigated. When the coke reactivity test results of the applications were examined, it was observed that there was a 20-48% improvement in the CSR value of the coke samples with boron solution compared to the coke samples quenched by spraying water. A 46.29% increase in CSR value and a 34.92% decrease in CRI value of the hot coke sample, which was quenched with 7 g/Ɩ concentration Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate solution giving the optimum value, was determined. Öz KARDEMİR Kok Fabrikalarında koklaşabilir kömür fırınlara şarj edilmekte, 18-21 sa.’lik koklaşma sonrasında elde edilen kızgın kok itici makina yardımı ile kılavuz arabası üzerinden söndürme vagonetine boşaltılmaktadır. Kızgın kok, söndürme kulelerinde su püskürtülerek söndürülmekte ve kok rampasına dökülmektedir. Metalürjik kok, kok kırma eleme tesisinde boyutlandırılarak yüksek fırınlara sevk edilmektedir. Yüksek fırın prosesinde kaliteli koklaşabilir kömürlerden elde edilen CSR değerleri yüksek metalürjik kok kullanımı tercih edilmektedir. Yüksek fırın prosesinde, kaliteli koklaşabilir kömürlerden elde edilen CSR değerleri %60-70 aralığında olan metalürjik kok kullanımı tercih edilmektedir. Fakat kaliteli kömür yataklarının rezervleri gün geçtikçe azalmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, düşük kalitedeki kömürlerden aynı verimi elde etmek için metalürjik koka çeşitli derişimlerde bor solüsyonları püskürtülerek CSR değerinin artırılması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu sayede metalürjik kok üretiminde kömür harmanı içerisinde düşük kalitedeki kömürler daha yüksek oranlarda kullanılabilecek ve hammadde maliyeti düşürülmüş olacaktır. Kok fırınlarında 1050 ± 50 °C sıcaklıkta elde edilen kızgın kok üzerine üç farklı bor ürünü ile çeşitli derişimlerde hazırlanan çözeltiler uygulanarak reaksiyon sonrası kok mukavemetindeki (CSR) değişiklikler üzerine etkileri incelenmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen uygulamaların kok reaktivite test sonuçları incelendiğinde, bor çözeltisi uygulanmış kok numunelerinin su püskürtülerek söndürülen kok numunelerine göre CSR değerinde %20-48 iyileşme olduğu gözlenmiştir. Optimum değeri veren 7 g/Ɩ derişimli Disodyum Oktaborat Tetrahidrat çözeltisi ile söndürülen kızgın kok numunesinin CSR değerinde %46.29 artış, CRI değerinde %34.92 azalış tespit edilmiştir. Abstract This study involves the cradle-to-gate life cycle assessment of tomato paste production in Turkey. All the data was obtained from a large-scale production company located in north-west Turkey in 2020. CCaLC software with Ecoinvent2 database alongside CML2001 method was used for the analysis and the following impacts were taken into account: acidification potential, carbon footprint, eutrophication potential, human toxicity potential, ozone layer depletion potential, and photochemical smog potential. Functional unit was chosen as 1 kg of tomato paste sold in glass jars. The results show that the biggest contributor to environmental impacts was the raw material supply stage, mainly due to fungicide (for agriculture) and metal (for packaging) use. Energy required for agricultural and production processes were also found to have significant effects of the impacts. The results were found to be in very good consistency with earlier literature. Using photovoltaic panels for meeting 10% of the electricity demand of agricultural and production processes or utilizing tomato harvesting waste to produce biomethane were found to have almost no positive effects as far as impact reduction is concerned. These results show that switching to organic farming seems to be essential if environmental impacts of processed food products such as tomato paste are to be reduced. Öz Bu çalışma, Türkiye'de salça üretiminin beşikten kapıya yaşam döngüsü değerlendirmesini içermektedir. Tüm veriler 2020 yılında Türkiye'nin kuzeybatısında bulunan büyük ölçekli bir üretim şirketinden elde edilmiştir. Analiz için CML2001 yönteminin yanı sıra Ecoinvent2 veri tabanına sahip CCaLC yazılımı kullanılmış ve şu etkiler göz önüne alınmıştır: asidifikasyon potansiyeli, karbon ayak izi, ötrofikasyon potansiyeli, insan toksisite potansiyeli, ozon tabakasını inceltme potansiyeli ve fotokimyasal sis potansiyeli. Fonksiyonel birim cam kavanozda satılan 1 kg salça olarak seçilmiştir. Sonuçlar, çevresel etkilere en büyük katkının, esas olarak mantar ilacı (tarım için) ve metal (ambalaj için) kullanımı nedeniyle hammadde tedarik aşamasından geldiğini göstermektedir. Tarım ve üretim süreçleri için gerekli olan enerjinin de çevresel etkilerde önemli bir payı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçların literatürdeki diğer yayınlarla tutarlılığının yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Tarım ve üretim süreçlerinin elektrik talebinin %10'unu karşılamak için fotovoltaik panellerin kullanılması veya biyometan üretmek için domates hasat atığının kullanılmasının etki azaltma söz konusu olduğunda hemen hemen hiçbir olumlu etkiye sahip olmadığı saptanmıştır. Bu sonuçlar, salça gibi işlenmiş gıda ürünlerinin çevresel etkilerinin azaltılması için organik tarıma geçişin gerekli olduğunu göstermektedir.
