The study was undertaken in Ambo district, Ethiopia, to identify the determinants of youth participation in the community development process because the participation of youth is very low. This study used cross-sectional survey research design. Primary data were collected through semi-structured interview schedule from 132 youth selected using stratified random sampling technique. A binary logistic regression model was employed to identify factors affecting youth participation. Access to information, Training and capacity building, Peer pressure, Parental Influence, Member in the cooperatives, and Employment status were significant factors on the participation of youth. Based on the findings, the following recommendations were made: Adequate information about what is happening in their community should be provided to the youth and public enlightenment programs should be organised from time to time to educate the parents and the communities as a whole on the significance of youth participating in community development process in the society.

Effect of two test plants A. indica and O. sanctum is observed on the reproductive organs of O. nigricornis 2 percent concentration of the extract of both the test plants showed significance morphological suppressive effect on the shape size, weight and growth of both ovaries and tests of adult bugs in comparison to control bugs disruptive effect of the extract of A. indica on the histology of ovaries is seen comparatively much severe than that treated with O. sanctum. Similarly, effect of the extract of A. indica on the histology of testes of male bugs was more pronounced and suppressive than the treated with O. sanctum. Various histological deformities are seen in ovaries and testes of the bugs treated with both the test plants extracts.

Sasak Sade Village is a culturaltourism destination located in Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. Sade village is a cultural tourism that has a characteristic of local people who become attraction to be a tourist destination. Tourism sustainable cultural heritage is a key element in the tourism industry. Qualitative methods are applied using semi-structured face-to-face interviews with four stakeholders of tourism groups. The results reveal that every element of the tourism stakeholders goes according to their respective functions. With the existence of cultural tourism activities, endangered culture continues to exist.
