This paper propose a system to provide 3D display with unlimited parallax and display virtual TV as if real TV is put by HMD. By this system, the user is able to watch TV naturally by preventing which the moving of the virtual TV follows in the moving of head. In addition, motion parallax depending on movement is expressed without visual area restriction. The system is comprised of HMD and two Web cameras. Two Web cameras are attached to get surrounding scene. At first, an observer determines a characteristic point in the 3D image from the two cameras to set the virtual TV. The screen size of the virtual TV is set in the distance to the point calculated by triangulation using two cameras. The point is tracked by the phase correlation about anteroposterior consecutive frames. Parallax pictures are made to correspond to right side image and left side image with a size suitable for the distance. The virtual TV is displayed at the point in the input image. Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposal system. The experiment 1 is a experiment to evaluate image showed by virtual TV by subjects. In the experiment 2, the subjects observed two virtual cubes to confirm motion parallax. As a result, virtual TV position was fixed to the real space like the real TV and expression of the natural motion parallax was enabled by proposal system. This paper presents a new approach for setting criteria towards evaluating e-portfolio use within educational context. The urge for considering e-portfolio systems in current educational context is becoming more vivid, as many systems are developed to address the need for gathering artifact used within educational context. The wide development of web 2.0 technologies has given the opportunities for many e-portfolio systems to emerge and provide different services and functionalities that are used for different aims and objectives that are not related to educational use. The need for differentiating the offered services and functionalities is becoming necessity as different educational establishments have been found using e-portfolios that are not designed for educational purposes. This study, managed to present six different e-portfolio systems that are found suitable for educational purposes, and have set the criteria for differentiations that will present the most suitable e-portfolio system within educational context. Those same criteria can be used with any newly designed e-portfolio system, and they can be looked at as a guide map for selecting the most appropriate e-portfolio system. The rapid development of wireless communication networks in recent years has made vehicle to vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to infrastructure (V2I) communications possible in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). It has also led to the development of a new technology called vehicular ad hoc network (VANET), which aims to achieve road safety, infotainment, and a comfortable driving experience. It can support safety systems designed to avoid road accidents in two ways: 1) periodic transmissions (beacon) from all vehicles that inform neighbors about their current status, and 2) dissemination of emergency messages to warn other vehicles to avoid the danger. The intent of the research is to propose an efficient safety system for VANET by designing communication protocols and techniques to provide the means for successful transmission of safety-related information. Therefore, three protocols based on power control, contention, and position-based mechanisms are proposed to shape data traffic, such that messages are received with high probability and reliability where they are relevant. First, a method Coded Repetition Neighbor Table (CRNT) is proposed in [1], which aims to increase the network awareness to enable the network vehicles to know about current network situations and detect other vehicle movements. Second, a method called Particle swarm optimization Contention Based Broadcast (PCBB) is proposed in [2] for fast and effective dissemination of emergency messages within a geographical area to distribute the emergency message. Third, a method called Particle swarm optimization Beacon Power Control (PBPC) is proposed in [3], which aims to decrease the packet collision resulting from periodic messages leading to the control of the load on the channel while ensuring a high probability of message reception within the safety distance of the sender vehicle. Using the latest version of Matlab simulator, the merits of all the approaches, as well as of their synergies are demonstrated. Simulation results show that PBPC is capable of improving the reception rates of beacon messages and increasing the probability of reception of emergency messages over a wide range of distances between sender and receivers. PCBB enhances the delivery of the emergency information to all nodes located in a geographical area by more than 70%. Furthermore, it enables the emergency message to reach greater distances, thus benefiting the incoming vehicles receiving the important information. When PCBB is used in combination with CRNT and PBPC, the dissemination efficiency and delay are considerably improved. Finally, PBPC is capable of improving the channel performance by controlling the channel load resulting from the beacon messages, reducing packet collision by 50%. Cloud computing is a new paradigm shift of computing offers managed, scalable and secured and high available computation resources and software as a service that enables the users to access to cloud services from anywhere and anytime. Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) refers to the availability of Cloud Computing (CC) services in a mobile environment and it is the combination of the heterogeneous fields like mobile phone device, cloud computing & wireless networks. Nowadays the term of MCC is become the buzzword and a major discussion thread in the IT world. In this paper we have designed a new effective model to solve the identification problem in MCC. The proposed solution which we have provided is based mainly on the fingerprints to prove the users identity to determine if this user is authorized or not. We combine each fingerprint with a password to form a multiple passwords scheme. The password consists from the finger sequence in the hand (left or right) plus a fixed password; this will make the passwords to be easy to remember. The results showed that this scheme is very strong and difficult to break it.

A plethora of applications in our daily life uses the assistance of wireless sensor networks. The main drawback of the sensors is the resource constrained nature especially with regard to energy storage. The minute structure is an attractive feature of these sensors as they can be easily be deployed or accommodated in sensing or monitoring devices. But because of the miniature size, the energy storage, processing and memory capabilities have to be drastically reduced. The applications which uses the wireless sensor networks will have to have a continuous connectivity with the area where they are deployed without any breakage otherwise the intension of the sensor deployment will be ineffectual. In order to maintain the longevity of the network the only option is to efficiently use the available energy to the maximum extent. Each layer of the protocol stack has its own strategies in order to reduce the energy consumption. We are focusing on the network layer in which routing place an important role. As compared to the sensing and processing functions the process of communication consumes more energy and hence the importance of an energy efficient routing protocol to enhance the life time of the wireless sensor networks. A novel approach where in mobile sinks are involved is proposed with extensive simulations which showcase the efficacy of the proposed Mobile Sink Assisted (MSA) algorithm. Speech recognition is an important part of human-machine interaction which represents a hot area of researches in the field of computer systems, electronic engineering, communications, and artificial intelligence. While speech signal is very complex and contains huge number of sampling points, the extraction of features from its time and frequency domain is very complex by analytical methods. The neural network capabilities to estimate the complex functions make it very reliable in such applications. This paper presents speech recognizer based on feed forward neural network with multi-layer perceptron structure. The speech is preprocessed by two methods; discrete wavelet transformation (DWT) and principal component analysis (PCA). The results and structure are presented and comparison is making over them.
