Village head act as mediator in solving villager’s dispute. However, on the other hand, village head act as implementer of village governance. Therefore, questions arise concerning why village head should become the mediator in solving villagers’ dispute, concerning mediator should be neutral side in reconciliate all related parties. Method used in this study was normative legal research with philosophical approach, concepts, cases, history and statute approach. Theories and concepts used in this dissertation includes legal objectives theory, authorization theory, dispute solving theory. Results and discussion: Consideration of village head given obligation as mediator in solving villager’s land rights dispute, village head act as implementer of village governance, with the authority given by statute and authority based on origins, village head acts as the village reconciliation judge. The existence of village governance was very close with the villagers itself starting from the head’s involvement in land registration process until it was presume that village head was knowledgeable concerning land history within the village border. However, on the other hand, village head has many authorities that should be implemented.

A large proportion of the media around the world, especially those related to radio and television, belong to the state. In principle at least, there are three different terms to talk about these types of media: (1). The public media that draws on the treasury to present programming that is in the interest of the general population. They do not support any political party, not even the party in power. (2). National media owned by the state and using the treasury money, are also controlled directly by the state. (3). Government media that is owned by the ruling party and uses the treasury money, are also controlled by the ruling party. These three models coexist already in the Arab world since independence. This phenomenon almost removed the clear distinction that existed in principle between the government media and the public media. After the Arab Spring in 2011, however, this distinction remains important. The public broadcaster model was based on a principle that is still justified for most of the world and that the private media alone can not guarantee the pluralism of broadcasting. The problem, however, is that the government media have also largely failed. In several countries, the arrival of private media has pushed governments to exercise editorial control of the public media. The discussion of media regulation is aimed primarily at ensuring that the media financed by the Public treasury exercise their profession with the full independence of the government of the day to which they are entitled, rather than aiming to restrict the freedom of the media that already enjoy full editorial independence. In the Arab world, there have been some attempts to recover and modernize the ideal model of public media, as for example the case of Tunisia, Morocco and Jordan. This study aim to search if the Arab broadcasting meet the recognized standards and the requirements of the concept of public service?

The purpose of the research was to explore the factors that affect the performance of nurses in Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital Lahore. The Research Design was quantitative descriptive. The population consisted of all categories of nurses working Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital Lahore works seven days in a week. The Stratified Random sampling technique was used to obtain the sample. Data were collected by means of designed performance instrument questionnaires. Objectives: To determine the Characteristics of the Nurse Manager's Recognition Behavior and its Relation to Sense of Coherence of Registered Nurses. Methodology: The study design is quantitative cross-sectional study The questioner of Characteristics of Nurse Manager’s Recognition Behavior and its Relation to Sense of Coherence of Registered Nurses was adopted from the article of Miyata, Chiharu (Miyata et al., 2014). This is based on 7-point Likert scale. The data was collected from 211 nurses of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan. Conclusion: This examination uncovered that recognition behavior of nurse managers were successful in enhancing the SOC of registered nurses. Hence, recognition behavior of managers is a practical advance towards enhancing nurses' capacity to adapt to pressure and, thusly, encourage self-acknowledgment. The capacity to adapt to pressure can be helped by managers who can utilize proper acknowledgment conduct, as requested for by registered nurses. This objective can be proficient by considering singular staff individuals, profession advancement as a pro and checking on nurse manager's responsibilities.

Traditionally, Nursing students study human bioscience e.g. pathophysiology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology in their first and second year course. Nursing students are facing difficulties with bioscience learning. Hence, it’s essential for nursing students to keep in mind that bioscience understanding is very important throughout the research, and clinical practice. The PURPOSE of this study was to assess BSN students’ experiences regarding bioscience subject’s background and nursing education. A cross-sectional analytic study was done among 183 BSN (Generic) students February 2018 to May 2018. Convenient sampling technique was used to collect the required sample size. Data on individual characteristics of Bioscience learning experiences was collected by distributing semi-structured questionnaire. Statistical tool SPSS 21.0 was used for the analysis of collected data. Person correlation test used to determine the relationship between variables. In this study majority of BSN (Generic) students were considered bioscience subjects more challenging and time consuming. About 45.36% participants were agreed with there is more content required for bioscience compared with nursing subjects. BSN students (59.56%) were reported that bioscience related to nursing practice to gain better understanding for assessment. Majority of participants were reported that bioscience subjects more difficult as compared to nursing subjects. Bioscience relationship with nursing practices significantly correlated with clinical-relevant employment. In this type of research the area of improvement have been reviewed further knowledge available for those who will conduct the research on this topic in future.

Introduction: The population has not been investigated extensively about understanding and perception about obesity and its complications. The aim of the study was to investigate the understanding, recognition and practice between overall population in the selected areas of Lahore related to obesity and its complications. Methods: The descriptive study which involved 100 respondents. The respondents from Hussain Abad Lahore were conveniently approached and recruited. A pre-approved, questionnaire was used for data accumulation. SPSS version 20 was used both descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: From Out of the total 100 participants, 53% were females and 47% were males. Almost the half Participant 45% was in the age of 35years. Nearly 91% respondents don’t have idea about normal body mass index of adults. While 89% participants don’t know hormonal problems can lead the obesity. However 51% participants know that obesity can lead the heart problems. . Just about 52% participants were agreeing that when the person consumes extra calories than the individual burns obesity can occurs. 44% participants were agreed that psychological factors can influence the eating habits and obesity more over 36% are agreed that junk food takers are more susceptible to obesity. Only 3% participant checks their Body Mass Index (BMI) level. 26% change their eating habits, physical activity in order to maintain their physique and 11% takes of junk food. Conclusion: The respondents were more careful that obesity happens when a man expends a bigger number of calories than a man devours it. However the respondents know about obesity and its entanglements to some degree, their preparation towards weight isn't general which ought to be investigated later on for better human administrations, and prosperity comes about.

Introduction: Nurses are the “backbone” of any human services framework and their work is varied and extremely complicated. In addition, higher amount of nurse’s dissatisfaction prompts to leave out from the nursing profession. This generally creates staff shortage among nurses. Due to enhances extra time and job stress, increases burnout, longer patient holding up records, lastly, as an outcome expanded displeasure among patients Leadership is the way toward impacting representatives to accomplish organizational goals and objectives Methods: This analytical, cross-case study was conducted in public hospital of Lahore. Respondents ’selection was convenient sampling technique. Selected sample was 211 registered nurses. Well adopted questionnaire as per Likert scale was used in this study. Results: The finding of this study showed that caregivers prefer transformational styles of leaders to achieve optimal presentation of nurses. The results showed that there is statistically significance as p-value < 0.05 at all level of job satisfaction. Conclusions: A transformative leadership style promotes job satisfaction among nurses, which improves performance. Nurses job performance increased proportionally by increasing job satisfaction. In the current health system, it is necessary to develop leadership behaviors that have proven to be effective in the implementation of positive and adaptive behaviors among nurses.

Introduction: Waste disposal is one of the major environmental problems in all over the world. Improper waste disposal causes breeding and may cause infectious diseases like cholera, small pox, and plague, etc. The knowledge of waste disposal is necessary for health of people’s. various study reveal that about 90% of people disposal of waste in open places and use the method of land filling, so increase the problems for health of public and the environment. The study has been carried out for the current status of waste disposal. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was carried out in rural area and 100 household peoples were the population. The Data collected by pre- tested questionnaire and direct interviewing the people about their routine waste disposal. Results: Majority of respondents (72.0%) was aware about adverse effects of improper waste removal and (28.0%) Respondent was not aware.95.0% of people have good attitude about waste disposal. Regarding practices most of respondent (52.0%) had the poor practices towards waste disposal and 41.0% had satisfactory practices. Conclusion: The knowledge regarding waste disposal in the most of respondents was found good and in Minimum of respondents having satisfactory knowledge. In spite of good knowledge, the respondents having poor Practices regarding waste disposal due to lack of awareness, unavailability of public dustbins.

Introduction: Nursing is a very demanding career. In nursing work nurse’s work not only have tons of things to get done. Nurses scores in time management were more than those of men, with statistically significant difference: (p<0.05). There was a positive significant relationship between individual skills and organizational skills in time management (p<0.05). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting time management of professional nurses. Methodology: A descriptive cross sectional analytic study was conducted at government hospital of Lahore. Data was collected from 211 registered nurses using convenient sampling. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 21. Results: There is statistically significant differences, in the significance level 0.05, of effective time management for nurses according to gender. Professional nurses spend much time in gossiping of both gender as (p <0.05), time allocated for socialization were more among female nurses Shortage of staff contributes poor time management towards patient care, working under pressure is significantly associated with poor patient care (p <0.05). Nurses spend much time using mobile phone is statistically significant (p <0.05). Conclusion: Time management is very crucial to the nurses and helps them to plan for their available time and use it to manage their tasks. This research identified and evaluated time management in professional nurses. Based on the results, it was found that shortage of staff contributes poor time management towards patient care, working under pressure affect patient care negatively, proper supervision will improve time management. It is also conclude that time management is necessary for medical workers, especially nurses. Thus, it would be interesting to conduct comparative cultural studies to better evaluate time management.

The period before various legal traditions encounter to Indonesia, the people living in these islands has owned rules that contain the value of values as the original law. The term of original law is also known as the name of "chthonic" law, and is used as the customary law of the community of Indonesia, or the archipelago known at that time. The customary law tradition is very different from other legal traditions; this system has a special character that is very different from the character of other legal traditions. Furthermore, around the seventh century of AD, the influence of religion encounter as well; the first is Hinduism, then the religion of Islam brought by traders from Arabia and India. The term known as custom, with its unwritten form and religious element as the definition proposed by Soepomo (1996), is indeed identical with the term given by experts in the colonial period such as: “Godsdientige Wetten, Volks instelingen En Gebruiken" (Regulation of Religious Ordinance, People's Institution and Customs), "Godsdientige Wetten, Instelingen En Gebruiken (Religious Regulations, Institutions, and Customs), Met Hunne Godsdiensten en Gewoonten Samenhangen de Rechts Regelen" (Rules of law relating to Religion and religion customs habits), in addition there are also called the Islamic Law or Mohameden Law. It shows that at that time Customary Law is equalized as religious law. The point of contact between the two can also be identified from the theories that develop at that time as in the theory of Receptio in Complexu (Salmon Keyzer and van Den Berg); Receptie Theory (Scouck Hurgronye); Theory of Receptio a Contrario (Ha zairin). The relationship between customary law and Islamic law is widely found in the field of family law that is the issue of marriage law and inheritance law. After Independence, legislation products related to Islamic law include Law no 1 of 1974, Law no 50 of 2009, Law no 21 of 2008 regarding Islamic Banking.

The main objective of the study was to find out customer satisfaction of Himalaya airlines and analyzed the factors affecting customer satisfaction level. One hundred structured closed ended questionnaires were developed and distributed among the passengers who travelled through Himalaya airlines at Tribhuvan International airport (Kathmandu, Nepal) to collect data for result. In order to examine the effect, customer satisfaction was taken as dependent variable and ticket fares, airport services, employee behaviors, flight reliability and in-flight services were taken as independent variable. The users of Himalaya airlines in general were satisfied. It is suggested to the management to focus on fares in comparison with competitors.

There has been a rapid ageing of the earth's population and in a few decades, Asia could become the oldest region in the world. In India, due to the reorganization of the family system, the traditional joint family system is on the decline. Due to the emergence of the nuclear family and the high cost of living, family members who previously cared for the elderly need to find employment outside the home. A rapid increase in nuclear families and an exceptional increase in the number of ‘older adults’ in the country have compelled them to live in old age homes. Literature has accentuated the difficulties and apprehensions experienced by older adults during the ageing process and the need for old age homes in order to create an environment that fosters a meaningful existence for them in their twilight years. India's old age homes are trying to uphold the needs, desires and values of older adults. There is a lack of studies that attempt to give older adults a chance to communicate their experiences in a care home. Older adults are an invaluable resource for younger generations and change is needed in society's attitude towards ageing. This review can help psychologists, social workers and caregivers gain insight into the needs of older adults in terms of mental wellbeing, economic and social security and elder abuse and create awareness among the people.

Oman, which is located on the Southern East of Arabian Peninsula, classified as holding a semi-arid climate with an average annual rainfall of 100 mm. Therefore, agricultural production in Oman is fully dependent in irrigation. More than one third is supplied by the ancient aflaj (sing. Falaj), which provide 680 x 106 m3 of water per year and irrigate of an area of 26,500 ha. There is two commonly known definition of the aflaj; the locally defined from the classic Arabic root as to divide the water among its shareholders. In addition, the modern technical definition as trenches and tunnels, which are dug in the ground, to convey the accumulated rainfall water table to the irrigated area in the villages. This study explore some of the existing institutional arrangements found within Falajdaris, at the waliyat (city) of Nizwalocated in the Dakhillya governmental, Sultanate of Oman. This study uses mainly face-To-face interviews with local administrative falaj agents to explore and discuss the most operated mechanized of the institutional arrangements. The study concluded that there is strong relationship between FalajDaris institutional arrangements development and physical water variability.

This study involved residents of RT 02 and RT 03, Tulusrejo sub-district. The setting of this study was one of the government’s target residence related to the project of Community-Based City and Residence Planning or Penataan Lingkungan Pemukiman Berbasis Komunitas (PLPBK), which success depended on society’s participation. Social bonds that result from long-term social interaction and life journey create emotional feeling upon their residences (Hummon, 1990). The place where people live and do their daily activities has certain deep meaning for them (Kyle et al, 2004), which at the same time affects the social psychological domain called place attachment (Lewicka, 2011). Thus, it was necessary to create strong social bonds and strengthen residents’ place attachment feeling for the success of the PLPBK program. In this study, social network mapping was analyzed using the Social Network Analysis (SNA). Meanwhile, to explain residents’ perception on their residence, Multidimensional Scaling was used. The result of this study exhibits that some social groups were formed upon certain similarities and membership of a certain organization. Besides, social groups were also formed by similar community attachment.

This is a quasi-experimental research with quantitative to describe research results. Research subject is students in XI IS 1 class as the experimental group and students in XI IS 2 class as the control group in Senior High School 1 Mayong, Jepara Residence, Indonesia. Data of motivation level was collected by questionnaire, meanwhile the cognitive learning outcome data was collected by test. The world has redefined and reorganized the security strategies after 9/11terroists attacks. The fourth wave in the deterrence theory has extended the deterrence security concept and added up the non-traditional threats as necessary part in security planning. Non-Traditional threats, terrorism, ambiguous warfare, cyber threats, water security, human security and energy crises etc now have equal importance with the border security. To protect the state from these actors, Pakistan is now reassessing and reorganized its security strategies. But these policies need more deliberate efforts to deal with such internal and external factors that are slowly and constantly weakening the state.

This study aimed to develop a conceptual framework of factors affecting innovative work behavior of employeers in local administrative organizations. The study was conducted through a review of literature and document analysis. The results were presented in a form of descriptive analysis. The results show that team climate inventory, learning orientation, organizational supoortiveness, and transformational leadership play a direct role in developing innovative work behavior. Meanwhile, organizational supportiveness indirectly affects team climate inventry and transformational leadership indirectly affects learning orientation.

The main purpose of this research is to examine the impacts of service quality dimensions on patient satisfaction as a study of private hospitals in Nepal. This research has also evaluated the perceptions of the patients about service quality offered by private hospitals and level of their satisfaction. The research was conducted through influence of positivism philosophy and deductive approach. The two hypotheses were generated with the help of existing knowledge and literature related to service quality and customer/patient satisfaction. The formulated hypotheses were tested through primary data collection from the customers/patients of private hospitals in Nepal. The questionnaires survey was used to collect data in this study. Different five factors of SERVQUAL dimension and four factors of patient satisfaction: price, image, perceived quality and convenience were used to analyse service quality and patient satisfaction respectively. Samples of 490 patients from different 10 private hospitals which all are based on Kathmandu were considered in the study. The results indicated that each dimension of service quality is positively correlated with patient satisfaction, and overall service quality and patient satisfaction has correlation coefficient of 0.719 which is significant at the 0.01 level. This implies that service quality and patient satisfaction are positively correlated with each other. The results demonstrated that service quality has strong positive impacts on patient satisfaction as regression analysis demonstrates that service quality has significant impacts on patient satisfaction as β = 0.719 and P = 0.000 which is less than 0.05. Similarly, the results also indicated that private hospitals in Nepal are providing high level of service quality in the view of patients/customers; and there is high level of patient satisfaction at the private hospitals in Nepal.

This research aimed to 1) analyse the situations and problems of Business English instruction, 2) examine the accelerated learning system to enhance motivation in Business English learning for undergraduate programmes by means of a focus group of 10 people, and 3) evaluate the accelerated learning system to enhance motivation in Business English learning for undergraduate programmes. The sample consisted of 30 Chairs of Management, the focus group with 10 experts, and the experimentation with 34 students, while the three steps of the research process included 1) the examination of concepts and theories, 2) the learning system development, and 3) the learning system experimentation. The data were analysed using percentages, mean, standard deviation, and t-test (dependent samples), and the paired difference was analysed using LSD and one-way analysis of variance. According to the results of the learning system development, the system consists of the following components: 1) input, 2) process, and 3) output and feedback. Meanwhile, the system process elements include the: 1) principles, 2) objectives and 3) evaluation and assessment of training, contents, training activities, and roles of instructors and learners. The learning system evaluation results reveal that the pre- and post-trial difference of learners’ Business English knowledge to be at the statistical significance level of .05. Also, the pre- and post-trial motivation was different with an increase at the statistical significance level of .05. With respect to the level of satisfaction towards the learning system, the learners’ satisfaction towards the learning system was found to be at the highest level.

The agriculture sector of India has occupied almost 43 percent of India's geographical area agriculture play a vital role in the in the Indian economy over 70 percent of the rural house hold depend on agriculture. Agriculture is an important sector of Indian economy as it contributes about 60 percent job the population. the food grain protection has form 57 million tons (MT) in 1950-57 to268MT during 2013-14 highest ever since independence. In the years since its independence, India has made immense progress towards food security. Indian population has tripled, and food - grain production more than quadrupled. There has been a substantial increase in available food-grain per capita. Present study was carried out in two blocks of district Satna with 120 farm women. Eight farm practices were selected after the consultation with officials and farmwomen. Correlation coefficient was used to find out relation between extent of knowledge and extent of participation of the farmwomen with regard to the practices. It was found that there is a equal variables positive and negative, significance and non-significant relationship between participation and knowledge of the respondents.

Using data collected from Ghanaians living in the United Kingdom, and the USA; this research examined the motives that drive the performance of transnational entrepreneurship, the mobility involves and why such businesses normally fail. The study was conducted in 2013-2017; with a population size of 120 Ghanaians living in the UK and the USA. The objective was to find out what really drives the performance of these entrepreneurs who operate in a condition where costs may be known but rewards are uncertain, yet they are motivated. The research employed both deductive and exploratory approach and the methods were both primary and secondary. The study focused on small-scale entrepreneurs who run their businesses through personal social connections. The general results show that though individuals motives for seeking self-employment are diverse and numerous; and differ on certain points. However, there are some basic motives common to all and that is majority of the respondents with the average score of 63.3% supported that Economic Mobility, Financial Independence, Success Perspective, and Social Factors, are the most driven factors for the engagement in transnational entrepreneurship. We discovered that in a small-scale business, where most often do not have the needed managerial capabilities to engage in corporation, trust can be used to avoid loses that might come as a result of someone’s misconduct. We also discovered that the successes of these entrepreneurs are based on attitudinal; the degree of embededdness in the home country; personal and the institutional regulations of the destination countries. The results found that Ghana Transnational Entrepreneurs (GTE) are more into Merchandising Business with (59.21%) as compared to Service Business (34.21%) and Manufacturing Business (10.53%); and such businesses are managed and run mostly by their families (59.21%). Ashanti Region of Ghana was spotted to be more involved in doing business with 52.63%.
