Technological trends in the post-pandemic educational field

The coronavirus or SARSCoV-2, a respiratory disease that plunged humanity into total confinement, a measure issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a strategy to reduce the levels of contagion and spread of the virus, controlling whether the health emergency. Analyzing technological trends in the educational field in the framework of the post-pandemic product of Covid-19 was the objective of this research. Methodologically, framed in the positivist paradigm, quantitative approach, field research, descriptive level, not experimental. The population was represented by 376 members of the university academic community of Guayaquil, as a sample 68% of it was considered. The technique used was the survey, as an instrument a questionnaire of 10 items was used, with closed questions, sent by the virtual platformsWhatsApp, Telegram and Email. Among the analysis techniques of the results, statistical analysis was used, constructing tables through the Excel 7.0 program. The results reflect that the pandemic shook all dimensions of human life, but in the field of university education, it became an opportunity to appropriate new strategies to develop the teaching and learning process using technological platforms. , being the most used WhatsApp, Facebook and text messaging. In conclusion, during the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, the educator assumes a role mediated by information and communication technologies, but which is projected as a tool for the post-pandemic educational approach from virtual contexts.
