Facebook is largest social networking site in the world with having more than 1 billion users active. Facebook users create a profile page that shows their friends and networks information about them. The core purpose of our study was to investigate practice of social media usage among university students. Data is collected through the distribution of questionnaire among postgraduate students of GCUF. The two things that we measured are time consumption and building online relations on Facebook by the students. After completion of this survey we conclude that mostly there is male user of Facebook and they usually spend minimum 40 mints daily which lead to cut off them from real world and Facebook provide them a platform to make new relations. This research aimed to analyze the pattern of networking between government actor (Land Office), private sector (PPAT), and society (citizens) in governance of land services at Makassar city. This research used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective to understand the meaning of social phenomena under study. This research produces the data orally or in writing of the people and events that were observed to formulate a research focus. The focus of research is how the pattern of networking inter-actors in the governance of land services at Makassar. The results of study showed: (1) the Office of Land (government) and Land Deed Official or PPAT (private sector) is a partner in the process of land registration. Land Office implement the land registration, while PPAT make authentic certificate as a basis for land registration; (2) The relationship between actors is intermittent coordination; (3) Relationship with the Land Office (government) and society (citizens) are sociotechnical community programs through Land Certification Services for People (Larasita) and the Land Orderly Literacy Community Groups (POKMASDARTIBNAH). The implications of this research indicate the need for increased networking among actors in land services through strengthening interaction, interorganizational arrangements, and the provision of facilities to the weaker actors to realize the objectives of cooperation. Media is playing a vital role in any country and is being used in many instances to create stereotypes about countries and its people. Today Pakistan is in such a situation where different world media are trying to label Pakistan as a terrorists’ place and linking Pakistan with all terrors. The United State of America (USA) is warring against terrorism with their allies’ specially United Kingdom (UK) and their media are portraying Pakistan as a place for militant groups and terrorists. It is mostly western media that is promulgating news against Pakistan and showing the bad picture of Pakistan. According to Bernays (1928, p.153) “Propaganda will never die out”. The aim of this study is to investigate the image of Pakistan in the British daily newspaper, called “The Daily Telegraph”. This research endeavours to present an overview of the image of Pakistan as portrayed by the UK media organization. Therefore, the purpose of this research study is to investigate the role of the English newspaper “The Daily Telegraph” and its portrayal of Pakistan and to attract government’s attention towards the newspaper’s propaganda against Pakistan. This study conducts content analysis of The Daily Telegraph. Contents of the newspaper were analyzed separately for the study. This study finds out that western media (The Daily Telegraph) is quite different in disseminating information. In two months from November 1st 2013 to December 31st 2013 The Daily Telegraph newspaper covered news about Pakistan in 45 articles of which 7 (15.55%) were considered positive, 24 (53.33%) as negative and 14 (31.11%) as neutral. Most of these news articles are about the Taliban, terrorists, politics and religious extremism with only one news story about drone attacks. In these two months The Telegraph could not give a space for other issues in Pakistan including health, education and other developments. It is quite clear that The Telegraph newspaper is trying to depict a negative picture of Pakistan. Keywords: Image of Pakistan, Agenda setting, Propaganda, English Newspaper.

The research aims to analyze and describe the (1) the forms of implementation of PNPMMP in Kendari, (2) the responsiveness of the government toward the implementation of PNMP-MP in Kendari, (3) the level of public acceptability for the Implementation of PNMP-MP in Kendari, and (4) supporting and inhibiting factors in the Implementation of PNMP-MP in Kendari.The method used in this study is a qualitative approach. A procedure that emphasizes research on the characteristics of natural background as a research instrument, the focus of research produces descriptive data in the form of the written and spoken word and analyzed inductively.The research results showed (1) the forms of implementation of PNPM-MP Kendari tridaya is manifested in the form of social, economic activity and environmental activities as well as the techniques of facilitation by facilitators. (2) Responsiveness Kendari city government towards implementation PNMP-MP in Kendari quite well expressed in terms of the attitude of government officials Kendari city, the level of concern and support personnel Kendari city government officials (3) The level of public acceptance of the Implementation PNMP-MP in Kendari enough both are realized in the form of attitudes, knowledge, understanding, participation and support of the community, (4) the factors that support and hinder the implementation PNMP-MP in Kendari is communication, resource factors, attitudes and apparatus implementing bureaucratic structure.

Aquillaria spp. is one kind of tree that generates agarwood as a non timber forest product. Agarwood is formed due to the pathological process as respond to fungal infection. The research took samples from stem of Aquillaria spp. that formed agarwood naturally, at 4 districts in Nunukan regency: South Nunukan, Lumbis, Krayan Induk and South Krayan. The research aimed to identify the kinds of fungi that able to induce agarwood formation on stem of Aquillaria spp. The 9 fungal isolates were observed for their morphology on PDA and BLA growth media, and identified according to Leslie and Summerell (2006). The result indicated that based on their morphological characters, 9 isolates were identified as Fusarium solani, F. oxysporum, F. lateritium, F. comfactum, and Fusarium spp. Further identification will be done by molecular character using SSU, LSU and ITS primers.

The common trunk of the intermediate and left hepatic veins were studied by anatomical dissection of 40 adult human cadaver livers. The common trunk of the intermediate and left hepatic veins showed 5 types of termination of intermediate and left hepatic vv.: classification of Nakamura. In types A, B, C, and D, the intermediate and left hepatic veins showed a common trunk in 31/40 or 77.5% of cases, that flowed into the inferior vena cava. Whereas in type A termination ( 3/40 cases) common trunks of 1 cm or over which do not receive a branch in the last cm, in type B terminations ( 11/40 cases) the trunk received two branches less than 1 cm from the IVC,ie, short trunks, or trunks of over 1 cm associated with one branch, in type C terminations (12/40 cases), the common trunks having three branches less than 1 cm from the IVC and in type D terminations (5/40 cases),the trunk received four branches. The diameter of the common trunk was 16.09± 3.3mm and its length, 7.5± 2.3mm. In type E terminations (9/40 or 22.5% of cases), the intermediate and left hepatic veins ended separately in the inferior vena cava. The diameter of the intermediate and left hepatic veins in 40 cases was 8.68±1.51 mm and 8.6±1.22 mm, respectively.

The aim of the study was find out “O” level teachers’ and students’ perceptions of double session schooling system in the teaching and learning of geography The study was carried out in the qualitative paradigm in which a case study was used as the research design. One Form three class with forty students doing geography and ten geography teachers participated in the study. Interview and focus group were used as data collecting tools. Data were analysed qualitatively with some verbatim statements being recorded thus bringing out the participants’ perceptions about dou ble session schooling in relation to teaching and learning geography. The study found out that double session schooling system had several challenges. Findings reveal that teaching and learning time is reduced thus impacting negatively on teacher –student interaction. The study also found out that there was rapid deterioration of furniture, books and other resources over and above other challenges which include limited resources, heavy teacher workload and fatigue. The study recommends government to do away with double session schooling by building more secondary schools. The study also recommends that school authorities should make efforts to acquire computers, provide internet connectivity to allow students to get unlimited information.

The researchers have analyzed the social disorder in the west and have generalized it on their own society on the basis of common grounds.
