This paper addresses the problems of poor convergence and high value of mean square error, embedded with various blind adaptive equalization techniques in mobile communication and proposes an improved design providing enhancement in performance and ease of operation. The effectiveness of proposed approach is evaluated against different algorithms and simulations prove that design facilitate in reducing convergence time and low MSE. Proposed algorithm also ensures that equalizer does not converge to any wrong solutions under time varying and noisy conditions.

This paper reviews numerical methods and analysis procedures used in the study of automotive disc brake. It covers Finite element Method approaches in the automotive industry, the complex Contact analysis. The advantages and limitations of each approach will examine. This review can help analysts to choose right methods and make decisions on new areas of method development. The complex eigen value method is choose for contact analysis of car disc brake. The essence of such a method lies in the asymmetric stiffness matrix derived from the contact stiffness and the friction coefficient at the disc interfaces. This paper presents the analysis of the contact pressure distributions at the disc interfaces using a detailed 3-dimensional finite element model of a real car disc brake. It is also investigates different levels in modelling a disc brake system and simulating contact pressure distributions at varying load. It points out some outstanding issues in modeling and analysis of disc brake squeal and proposes new research topics. Wear can take place when two or more bodies in frictional contact slide against each other. It is found that the complex Contact analysis is still the approach favored by the automotive industry.

Regional rainfall trends in Ivory Coast, due to climate change, show a general decrease in rainfall over the entire country. This is likely to disrupt plans streams thereby reducing the availability of surface water resources. The objective therefore assigned to this work is to analyze the precipitation field while incorporating the effect of climate change. For field analysis of precipitation, the approach follows a markovian approach, which is a stochastic approach widely used to analyze and simulate the spatio-temporal evolution of a system from transition probabilities. The study was conducted on a time series of rainfall data (1966-2000) and showed that monthly precipitation echoes are well described by a Hidden Markov Model (HMM). The arkovian approach followed in this work has helped develop a model to analyze and forecast precipitation field in the department that of Sinfra that reflects reality with accuracy about 83 %.

In Nepal, drinking unsafe water is attributed for the mortality of 13,000 children. The prevalence of this cause of morbidity and mortality in many poor rural regions has created a need for water quality intervention. These days various household drinking water treatment options are currently available in Nepal. Almost 85% of Nepalese population use cooking stove and more than 70% of the heat energy is wasted through chimney of cooking stove. Three different heat exchangers with different efficiencies were designed for Water Pasteurization by utilizing waste heat of flue gas. Locally available hollow aluminum pipe (internal diameter 8 mm, length 3.65 m) was coiled into a spiral ovular helix of 12 cm in diameter. Two different heat exchangers with coiled unit placed inside and outside of the chimney were designed. Similarly a jacket type heat exchanger with 0.5m height was also designed for Water Pasteurization. With 6 hours of average cooking period per day, total water output from three different prototypes was found in the rage of 24 to 28 liters/per day. Water quality test for treated samples from three different prototypes was done and the E. coli test result was less than 5 CFU/100ml and thus treated water was safe to drink.

Had you ever thought of storing the solar thermal power without any expensive solar storage devices? .Can‘t we generate solar thermal energy in the form of low grade heat of 70-80.c with 20.c ambient temp .Yes this paper suggests a solution of storing the solar energy only by constructing a simple pool of salt water ,isn‘t it amazing?. Thus a solar pond is a pool of salt water which serves as the solar energy collection and sensible heat storage. The solar ponds made a tremendous progress in the last thirty years . This paper also mainly reviews the basic principles of the solar pond and the problems encountered in its operation and its maintenance. Here we also discuss the factors that enhance the heat storing capacities and also the factors that influence the technical and the economical viability of the solar ponds.

The depth of the problems that Nikolic procedures in his movies arise from the specific subject matter that was unlike some other arts, above all literature, in this field of aesthetic expression in the unique cultural and conceptual framework of former Yugoslavia, less prevalent. Although it is difficult to talk about their polyphonic or polymorphic characteristics, the clear and dramatic functional narratological structure of his movie stories should be pointed out, so much more since Nikolic never dealt with esoteric subjects and vain speculations, but he tried to rise the narrative statement to a level of absolute recognition, especially when he the anthropological discourse embodied in traditional norms, mystical and theological dogmas were involved. In such an approach, abstracting straight guided plot lines and extensive exposures, we can undoubtedly speak of full compliance and permeation of all the expressive constituents of the diegetic structure in Nikolic's movies. A strongly emphasised demystification of ultra-traditional interpretation of eros and simultaneously its relationship with ethos, the constant confrontation with extreme ethical views and distorted visions, as well as his persistence in debunking the dominant and burdensome taboos, are particularly important in Nikolic's narrative. Thus comprehended Eros together with so-called "forbidden topics" and their hidden and often ambivalent meanings, including possible deviations from their essence, often take precedence over other thematic elements in the dramaturgical structure of Nikolic's movies.

This paper proposes an approach for the hybrid solar photovoltaic and wind power system in Battery management for stand-alone applications with Artificial Intelligence. In general, Solar and wind energy are utilized as leading sources of energy and battery unit is considered as storage element to meet out the load demand. Loads are considered based on the priority. Ratings of hybrid energy system components such as solar PV, wind generator, battery unit, power electronic converter, etc., are optimally selected based on the rating of load. Fuzzy logic and Neural network are the tools being used here to obtain the maximum utilization of battery. A simulation model with MATLAB/Simulink for the hybrid power system has been developed. Considering power supply variation in Solar and Wind Hybrid Power system (SWHP) caused due to disturbed power supply from wind turbine generator and solar cells, fuzzy-PID-NN control is brought into it. The main components model of SWHP is established and simulation of fuzzy-PID-NN control is being presented, analyzed and compared. The final result of simulation indicates an effective utilization of battery.

In this project, we propose a real-time embedded finger-vein recognition system (FVRS) for authentication on mobile devices. The system is implemented on an embedded platform and equipped with a novel finger-vein recognition algorithm. The proposed system consists of four hardware modules: radio frequency identification system, image acquisition module, embedded main board, and human machine communication module. RFID module will start the very initial communication between the user and the device The image acquisition module is used to collect finger-vein images. The Embedded main board including the Microcontroller chip, memory (flash), and communication port is used to execute the finger-vein recognition algorithm and communicate with the peripheral device. The human machine communication module (LED or keyboard) is used to display recognition results and receive inputs from users.

Cargo terminals are as one of the main components of road transport system that by which we can provide services and facilities to the drivers and the fleet of transportation, centralized and coherent, and so we can make policy, conduct, and have necessary control and supervision the system of road transportation. One of the main problems in the transport sector of kohgiloyeh & Boyer Ahmad’s province is wandering trucks for finding and loading of the goods in urban areas that it caused to increase the number of accidents, environmental pollution and noise pollution, and so on. It also undermines the possibility of supervision on their activities. Considering the present situation, organizing the transportation of goods was a necessity, that as cargo terminals localization in the province of Kohgiloyeh & Boyer Ahmad were studied. Methods used to locate cargo terminals are regional planning techniques including, spatial analyses of land use and traffic flow analysis in the major roads. Geographical Information Systems (GIS) is used to visualize the results clearly. The findings of the above mentioned techniques in totally gave the priority of construction of the cargo terminals to the roads of Yasuj-Babamaidan weighing 40, Yasuj-samirom weighing 36, Dogonbadan-Behbahan weighing 28, Dogonbadan-Babamaidan weighing 27, Dogonbadan-Behbahan weighing 25, and Yasuj-Sepidan weighing 25, respectively. According to the research findings and the multiplicity of goods transport’s companies in the province and the need to construct a terminal in each territory, places suitable for construction of the cargo terminals were selected respectively in Boyer Ahmad territory, the 15-20 km of Yasuj-Babamaidan road, in Gachsaran territory, centered 5 kilometer of Dogonbadan-Behbahan road, and in kohgiloyeh territory, the beginning of Dehdasht-Behbahan road.

Over the years there has been significant increase in the standard of living of the people around the globe due to rapid industrialization, and urbanization. However, these developments have also resulted in exploitation and overuse of natural resources, which are now hitting us back in the form of global warming, natural calamities and other tantamount effects. The word is slowly getting spread that we need to protect the environment so the quality of life for us and future generations does not deteriorate. To protect our Environment, the concept of Green Building has come in to picture which helps to reduce the pollution that is being produced from industries, automobiles, houses, pesticides, etc. However, lack of awareness on this technology, coupled with improper city planning, and complacency to provide support at the level of Government and local bodies has challenged for astute implementation of green technology. A Green Building is a sustainable building which is environmentally eco-friendly and resource efficient. Developed countries like USA, UK kick started to make people aware about this technology and provide aid for implementation through organizations like USGBC (United State Green Building Council), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) and NAHB (National Authority of High Rise Buildings). In India, too, the task has been taken up through IGBC(Indian Green Building Council). The main aim of the Council is to reduce the pollution that emanates from houses and industries and seek for alternative renewable resources of energy for efficient use of building materials. In this research the process of point system for award of IGBC credits has been studied in detail and it was observed that the system is too complex for adoption for low and middle income group of houses in developing country environments like India and Nepal. Thus there is a need to review and suggest an encouraging system of categorizing the houses as Green Houses in developing country environment. In this research different factors like area, type of design, materials used have been included to come up with new plans and assignments of credits in a way that they can be achieved relatively easily. Also components like landscape, parking facilities, energy performance, grey water management, management of irrigation systems, credits have also been factored in so that certification as green building is made easy for new and existing low and middle income groups/class of houses to promote sustainable development in the near future
