Based on the aggregation of available material on geology of metalliferous deposits of Azerbaijan on the principles of new geodynamical concept - «plate tectonics» metallogenic specialization of compositional complexes of structural areas of various geodynamic modes was identified and perspective pathways of researches for discovery of new large metalliferous deposits were established. Identification of indicator factors in the formation processes of structural-compositional complexes of various geodynamic modes facilitates establishment of combination of complex oceanic collages, island-arc active and passive outskirts of blocks and microcontinents, that are divided by continental and oceanic rifts. Metalliferous deposits that match specific metallogenic areas that are on a step-by-step basis are shown along the structural areas of Caucasus are located in close spatial-temporal association with the magmatism. In spacial distribution of mineralization establishing of zoning that supports the complexity of polygene-polychronous genesis of deposits is quite important. Genetic heterogeneousness is conditioned by the stage based manifestation of mineralization within the limits of metallogenic areas of various levels of activation of structural areas. Island arc system of Caucasus Minor in the aspect of magmatism and ore-bearing characterizes its one more possible prospects for gold. Review and generalization of similar problems of geology-tectonic examination of fields will serve as the main predicting assessment of the region for the possible detection of new types of metalliferous deposits.

Physical-geographical factors of engineering-geological conditions were examined (orographical, hydrological, climatic conditions of the territory). Regional geological factors are described: geological structure of the area, rock formation of various composition and origin, hazardous geological processes and related phenomenas: weathering (physical, frost weathering), cryogenic (frost polygonal cracking, frost-heaving, spotting, ice build-up, snow patches, thermokarst); gravitation processes (slides, landslides, solifluction); erosion processes (river, gully erosion, alluvial cones, sills); fluvial processes (water logging). Technogenic factors related to mining, transport and residential complexes were characterized. Typification of geotechnical conditions of Polar-Ural railway route corridor was carried out: the are of Sob river valley with subareas of valley complex of the river and its inflows with engineering-geological regions and subregions, subarea of modern water-dividing areas with engineering-geological regions and subregions is conducted investigations give evidence of the complex construction environment and operation of railway within the environmental conditions of Polar Ural. Organization of complex engineering-geological monitoring with the development of environmental measures is recommended.

An important ecological aspect of work of all mining enterprises that use drilling-and-blasting mining of rock mass with the application of industrial explosive agents (poremite, granemite, igdanite and others) based on ammonium nitrate is inevitable contamination of drainage waters with nitrogen compounds (ammonium ion NH4+, ion nitrate NO2- and ion nitrate NO3-). These drainage waters that are pumped out during drainage of deposits as a rule are discharged into surface water bodies which leads to their contamination. Execution of stringent requirements of environmental regulation based on protection of water bodies from contamination with nitrogen compounds during discharge of drainage waters dictates the need for selection and development of optimal from the standpoint of eco-economic positions technology of purification. Researching of formation processes of their chemical composition based on contaminated compounds and volume of drainage waters that are subject for cleaning for mining enterprises is necessary for this purpose. This article explores formation processes of chemical contamination of drainage waters with nitrogen compounds that are done in conditions of large pit of construction industry for the purpose of determining possible drainage water purification technologies. Results of research are used by the investigated enterprise during development of drainage water purification technology from nitrogen compounds and optimization of water treatment facilities work depending on the natural and man-caused factors taking into consideration specific conditions of enterprise and its infrastructure (connection of mass of nitrogen compound losses with the seasonality of water inflows, volume of rock mass, types of applied explosive agents).

Modern Ural mountains are the recent epiplatform orogen that was formed for the last 30 million years in the western part of more ancient Paleozoic mountain fold belt that occurred at the end of Paleozoic on the border of East-European platform (EEP) and Western-Siberian slab and demolished by weathering processes during mesozoic-kainozoic time. The establishing of the newest Ural mountain belt and adjacent territories on the modern stage are supported by rarely occurring sensible earthquakes with a magnitude from 3–4 to 5–6 grades on MSK-64 scale. Majority of epicenters of sensible earthquakes are concentrated within the boundaries of Sredne-Uralsk seismic domain that is confined to the interference region of submeridional Ural and north-eastern outskirts of Russian EEP platform that has northwestern direction. In the area to the west from Ural rarely occurring sensible earthquakes are registered in submeridional Kirovsk-Kazhimskiy aulacogen. In the area to the east from Ural sensible earthquakes were registered in the region of town Ishim of Tyumen oblast. Sources of sensible earthquakes of examined region are localized predominantly in crystalline basement at depths from a few kilometers to 25 km. For the last 300 years within the limits of examined region there were around 50 sensible earthquakes with intensity from 3–4 to 5–6 marks on MSK-64 scale. At large engineering-seismic condition at Ural and in adjacent to it regions are considered to be favorable and safe for engineering structures that are built in accordance with the construction norms and regulations.

Technologies of excavation of dense and half-rocks with application of surface miners are being developed, which are used during development of deposits of coal, bauxite, phosphates, limestones, marble, chalky clay and other mineral resources. During development of coal deposits surface miners allow to withdraw from drilling and blasting operations, provide an increase of coefficient of extracting the mineral reserves from earth depths and the decrease of ash content of the coal due to its selective mining. An important problem is the presence of a big amount of small fractions in extracted coal, which predetermines the losses of mineral deposits during loading, transportation and storage, it also lowers the quality and market value of the coal. This article proposes the technology of layer-wise open pit development of coal fields with application of modernized surface miner, additionally equipped with transport-assortment device. Extracted rock mass is supplied to the transport assortment device and is divided on its surface into sized coal and coal slack. Efficiency of assortment process is increased due to the operation of vibrator that impacts its sizing grill that is installed in elastic supports. Sized coal is supplied to the dumping truck through the discharge boom of surface miner, whereas the coal slack is transferred into sealed bins of special vehicle through pneumatic conveyor system. The proposed technical-process design allows carrying out the assortment of coal directly where it is extracted, as a result of which necessity in additional coal transferring is eliminated. Ecological situation is improved since the blowing out of coal slack in the coal extraction location and during its transportation to the transfer point is almost entirely eliminated.

The article mentions that the main dynamical equation of mining hoisting units cannot be the basis for energy analysis of unit operations. That is why the purpose of the article is the attempt to fill this gap. Strategy to evaluate the energy efficiency of mining hoisting units operation is described based on the classical mechanics. Dependencies of energy expenditure in the function of average movement speed of conveyances for the time of the hoisting cycle were received. Evaluation of the hosting unit blank run energetics was given. It was shown that in this operating mode no work in the hoisting system is done, however energy consumption for the retaining of the cargo takes place. In the operating mode of the hoisting unit the main power consumption is accounted for the potential component of the full energy of hoisting system, kinetic component of full energy of the system at that is inconsiderable. Analysis of received results shows low energetic efficiency of hoisting units operation during low speeds of conveyances, especially up to 5–6 m/s. The dependencies of energy consumption in the velocity function that are provided in the article are confirmed by experiments that were carried out on industrial hoisting units. Rational speed values of conveyances movement that provide minimal energy consumption during maximum possible movement speed of conveyances in bores are recommended during the operation.

The purpose of conducted research is the modernization of pipeline transport of cast packing filled mixtures, during underground development of mineral products. Due to the registered operation problems of steel pipelines in conditions underground workings on process sections of pipeline flushing system a decision to replace steel pipes on more fitting polymer pipes was proposed. In order to determine the more abrasion-resistant type of non-metallic pipelines a few samples of the more common types of plastic and polymer pipelines were selected, additionally comparative testing based on the wearability criterias were carried out. Research was made on the developed test facility of friction. The results of comparitative studies of wearability of such polymer and plastic materials as fiber-glass, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene of high density and polypropelene that were received with the help of experimental unit showed that pipelines from polyethylene of highdensity PE-100 are the most abrasion resistant. The conducted comparative evaluation of cost of polyethylene pipes with operating pressure of up to 4–6 MPa showed that for today the unit cost of polyethylene pipes almost came close to the cost of steel pipes that are equal in strength and furthermore, considerably lower in cost than similar pipes from other polymer materials and plastic. This allows to assert that on underground loose items of the pipelines for transportation of cast stowing mixtures, where the operating pressure does not exceed 4–6 MPa, using polyethylene pipes PE100 will be more efficient than using steel pipes or pipes from other reviewed polymer or plastic materials.

Concept of active magnetic bearing as a controllable electromagnetic device which holds the part of the machine (rotor) in set position relative to stationary part is given. Structurally the active magnetic bearing consists of two main parts: electrical mechanical part, or bearing itself and electrical control system. Options of the structure and operating principle of bearings are given. Bearing is a rotor and rotor position sensors. Rotor rotates in the magnetic field. Electrical magnets create the magnetic field, they are fixed on the stator. There is no mechanical contact between rotor and stator. There are two structural options of radial bearings: with traversal and lateral direction of magnetic flow relative to the rotor axis. Bearings with transversal flow direction are easier to manufacture and have lesser longitudinal dimensions. Control system is simpler during eight pole structure of the stator. In case of big bearings it is viable to use large number of poles. Routes of providing optimal technical characteristics are given: maximum frequency of rotor spinning, friction losses, power consumption, functional reliability. Maximum frequency of rotor spinning depends only on the quality of structural materials. Stiffness of bearing depends on the parameters of control system and disturbing frequency. Positional accuracy of the rotor axis is determined by the quality of the signal of position sensor and the support stiffness. Friction losses in the bearing are caused by the losses on vortex currents and hysteresis in rotor packs. Energy consumption of the bearing is justified by the loses in electromagnets and power amplifiers. Operation reliability of the bearing is determined by the reliability of the electronic circuit and power supply system. Industry where active magnet bearings are used are reflected: in space systems, gas industry, in energetics, medicine, pharmaceutical and food industry, in power oscillators, in precision measuring instruments, gyroscopes, robots.

The article is concerned with the questions of determining the economic efficiency of methane from coal bed deposits. Demands of national economy in natural gas and products of its processing dictate the need of involvement in the development of non-traditional sources of gas production, which include gas containing coal beds. All projects on extraction of methane from coal beds can be divided on two types: projects of degasification of coal mines and projects on production of methane of coal beds as a self-contained mineral deposit (commercial production). An important difference is that the industrial work with boreholes from the surface allows to extract methane-air mixture with high content of methane. At that unlike degasification the whole methane that was received during commercial production is on spec. Peculiarities of identifying the economic effect from the usage of coal bed methane, during various methods of resources development of coal-gas, additionally methodic approach to selection of one of the directions of developing of coal methane deposits are provided in the article. Additionally the article reviews historical questions of developing the coal methane processing. Main directions of processing of coal methane depending on the content of methane in methane-air mixture. Dependence on the selection of a specific option of methane usage from such economical and organizational factors as cost value on creation of processing plants on corresponding usage direction, size of economic effect from the usage of methane on this direction, organization-economic mechanism of project participants on methane extraction, specific needs of project participators in specific conversion products.

There is substantiated the necessity of social responsibility of the Earth users during the development of subsurface resources, trade-off between making a profit and meeting the needs of society. In the paper we expand social responsibility content of subsoil users on the basis of the level of development of the latter. In particular, the first (base) level includes the need for timely payment of wages and the payment of taxes, compliance with labor and environmental legislation and others, the second level involves the development of social partnership and the greening of production, the third level reflects the orientation of the external forms of social responsibility, its manifestation outside the enterprise. Also we consider the responses of respondents regarding the mining complex environmental responsibility. As follows from the responses, most of them consider environmental pollution, and consider your company as one of the sources of pollution. All respondents evaluated the solution environmental issues at all levels of government is not effective. Despite the negative assessment of the environment, they do not recognize the environmental activities a priority and do not consider it necessary to spend a significant share of the profits on the greening of production. At the same time, most respondents recognize the need to take account of environmental factors in management decisions, especially because mining companies have a negative impact on all elements of the environment. The importance of environmental factors is evidenced by the fact that most of the respondents are familiar with environmental legislation, the reason for the low cleaner production they see a lack of financial security of enterprises, low liability for violation of environmental legislation and the insufficient level of environmental awareness. From the answers respondents shows that they support the implementation of social responsibility initiative, from which they expect to receive appropriate effects, and strategic benefits.

During exploration and prospecting works, when using the method of a charge within the ore fields there is a problem of accounting influence of inhomogeneities of various genesis. In particular, it concerns the dike complex rocks. For immersed point source of current, authors have made the mathematical simulation of anomalous field caused by the presence of submerged half plane – insulator, and this simulation allowed to justify method of detecting steeply dipping bodies of small intrusions that frequently have ore-controlling value. Calculations show that for a successful separation of platelike anomaly-forming objects such as dikes, models of which can be half planes it is necessary to determine abnormal potential and its gradient. The latter is most convenient for interpretation, since it allows selecting objects confidently, even when there is a system of similar bodies. Practice confirms this condition, as demonstrated in the provided charts of the anomalous field and its gradient. The experience of exploration of ore fields, especially in the areas of active rock crushing, shows that bodies of small intrusions are quite contrasting anomaly-forming objects and without correct interpretation of related field disturbances, the successful interpretation of these measurements is difficult.

Authors present information about the conditions of ice formation in the natural and technogenic clumpy rock masses in the climatic conditions of the mountain regions of Subarctic in the Northen Transbaikalia. This research substantiates actuality of the study of ice formation in such clumps for the purpose of developing methods and technical means for their engineering and geological study, determination of physical and mechanical properties, development of approaches to the solution of a wide range of geo-ecological and geotechnical problems and, in general, the problem of ensuring the stability of constructions of various purposes. One can find basic differences of their properties, which determine the radiation balance of the surface of clumpy rock masses depending on the situation on the terrain and the orientation to the cardinal. The authors also analyze of the impact of seasonal fluctuations in temperature, humidity and precipitation on the particular ice formations in clumpy rock massifs as a result of convective heat transfer in interclumpy spaces. The results of studies show relations of the formation and accumulation of ice from the structure of clumpy massifs. Authors obtained types and main genetic characteristics of ice in clumpy rock masses. Moreover, authors determined the conditions for forming the structure of the crystal lattice, water crystallization, crystal growth, chemical composition, physical and mechanical properties and other characteristics of ice, in the surface and underground rock clumpy massifs. One can see their dependence on dynamics of the changing in the winter low daily and seasonal temperature of crystallization and the rapid growth of ice crystals. Authors present conclusions of the scientific and practical importance in solving practical problems of economic development of the territories with local and areal extent of clumpy rock massifs.

The complex orography of Tien-Shan, geodynamically unstable environment determine the formation of such natural processes such as landslides, earthquakes, mudslides, floods and high waters. Dumps and tailings of mining and extractive industries, located in channels and floodplains of spleen and landslide-prone rivers significantly complicate the manifestation of dangerous natural processes and reduce the ecological situation. It determines the necessity of studying factors and conditions of formation of these processes, identifying patterns of their manifestations and interconnections, as well as the study of the nature of the triggers that lead to the emergence of synergies. The article describes the natural conditions and factors of formation of dangerous natural processes and phenomena of the Tien Shan, the characteristic of technogeneous factors. Authors analyzed and typed geohazards with a synergistic effect manifesting with the greatest frequency in the mountain river basins of the Tien Shan. The article describes the formation of different types of floods with the manifestation of the synergistic effect and the formation of a cascade of dangerous processes. Examples of the formation of hazardous processes are river basins of Ala-Archa and Mailu-Suu with typical for the majority of mountain river basins natural conditions, the activity of dangerous natural processes and the basin of river Mailuu-Suu also has the imposition of anthropogenic factors: the presence of radioactive dumps and tailings. For river basin. Ala-Archa authors reviewed a manifestation of the synergistic effect and the formation of a cascade of dangerous processes under different trigger events.For Mailuu-Suu river basin authors give projections of volume calculations dammed lake during the landslide, analyze the possible options for the development of dangerous processes. To justify the prediction of synergistic effects in the formation of geohazards in mountain river basins it is necessary to evaluate the existing relationship between hazardous natural and technological processes, determine the likely triggers, their nature, and trigger chance in time and space.

This article focuses on the application of seismic methods, the study of their capabilities in prospecting and exploration of non-anticlinal traps, which are widespread in Azerbaijan. This article describes the materials of 3D seismic exploration conducted on one of the areas of Apsheron peninsula in 2012. In the study area, the author received a temporary cube in the range of 0–6 seconds. Seismic data on the entire section covering the neogene sediments has a good quality, which makes it possible to carry out an unequivocal interpretation. Geological information and analysis of the wave pattern allowed conducting a seismostratigraphic subdivision of section of studied area. The nature of the wave field divides the entire range into two seismostratigraphic megacomplexes: miocene and pliocene. We studied mainly three types of non-anticlinal traps, which are, in our view, widespread within Azerbaijan: traps controlled by low-amplitude disturbances; zones of pinchout of individual packages of sediments; and other types of traps, such as paleorivers beds.The application of different procedures for processing 2D and 3D seismic data gives very different results in studying of different types of anticlinal traps. For example, coherence cube of 3D data does not allow identifying disjunctive dislocations, and the author had to resort to using the traditional methods of allocation and tracking of disturbances on the wave field. The study shows that in miocene and lower pliocenelow amplitude disturbances play a major role in the formation of non-anticlinal traps of small size.The article specifically describes the anticipated non-anticlinal traps in the sediments of the lower pliocene–miocene of different areas of West Apsheron. The 2D seismic survey revealed pinchout areas, most shallow of which relate to the seismic horizon SH-IV, dated to the underlying productive strata deposits, which is adjacent to the horizon SH-V, related to the upper strata of diatom. At depths of about 2800–3800 m in the underlying with diatoms sediments there are several pinchout areas. These pinching deposits expectedly belong to the oligocene sediments. The study of pinchout zones by the method of instantaneous dynamic characteristics did not give the desired results, although their data allowed to verify the existence of zones of pinchout, but was too imprecise to clarify the position of the pinchout point. Application of Q-filtering was a success: at such a great depths pinchout point position was set accurately. Dynamic 3D seismic data analysis allowed isolating and tracing of the paleo channel of the ancient Volga at the Apsheron Peninsula, which many researchers spoke about.

Authors consider main indicators of reliability and longevity of quarry motor transport - the average mean time between failures and the average resource of dump trucks assemblies. The main part of failures of career motor transport classifies as sudden, caused, mostly, by the influence of the conditions and operating modes. Authors found out that the most unreliable parts of dump trucks BelAZ-75131, in terms of reliability, are motors. Studies have shown that a significant portion of the average recovery time accounts for waiting time of repair, caused by, mainly, the influence of organizational factors. Operating experience of quarry dump trucks on mining enterprises showed that the mean time between failures of domestic cars is much lower than foreign analogues, which operate under similar conditions. On an example of the Tugnuisky mine (OJSC «SUEK») for the rapid assessment of the state of machines authors designed a visualized card of accounting technical condition of units and aggregates dump trucks, allowing site managers to set priorities in setting machines for repair and beforehand start material and financial preparation for its conducting. One can find a developed form of accounting results of the work of maintenance personnel, allowing the district mechanic to track the results of the repair teams in online mode. The study determined that insufficient revolving fund provision of units and assemblies of machines leads to quite low levels of operational reliability of domestic trucks. This increases downtime of dump trucks in repair, waiting time of repair and, consequently, entails economic losses for the mining company. On example of Komatsu HD-1200 authors calculated the direct and indirect losses from the dump downtime on one of the mining enterprises in the North-West region of Russia. The article conatins reference conditions of their exploitation for determining the target operational reliability of quarry dump trucks.

The authors identified the sources of dust formation in quarries and risk of dust effect on staff health. This article presents dust properties depending on its fractional composition and possible ways of use of dust in the production: the use as target products; return to the production that generates this type of dust; recycling in another production with obtaining of commercial products; recycling for construction purposes; agricultural use etc. The authors consider possibility of using pulverized coal as a new fuel. According to studies of granulometric composition of fragmented by explosion rocks of various hardness, for each kilogram of explosives during mass explosions gaseous cloud obtains from 80 to 320 g of particulate fraction of up to 20 microns. One can see a presented dust properties, depending on the particle size, and the dependence by definition of the dust and gas atmospheric pollution in the production of massive explosions. The authors also propose a new all-terrain vehicle with the air bag for collection and transportation of dust-raising bulk materials in the conditions of obstruction on the land, such as in quarries after blasting, excavation, works on movement of the rock mass, and others. This article contains the description and operating principle of the new vehicle, and the main parameters of speed airflow depending on the fractional composition of dust. Authors suggest dependences for differential pressure to create an airbag and the suction line, as well as in the flexible suction conduit, in the intake nozzle, in the filter and expenditure of transported air in the suction line.

The article is devoted to the modernization of the economy, whose main areas are new industrialization (neoindustrialization) and the formation of post-industrial (information) economy based on higher technological ways. The processes of modernization should allow eventually moving from raw material export development strategy of the country’s economy to the innovative strategy. However, social and environmental effects must accompany them, at the expense of development of environmentally friendly economic activities, use of the «green» innovative technologies and environmentally friendly equipment. As an important step towards the «green» economic modernization in Russia the author considers initiated by the government transition to the best available technologies, contributing to the comprehensive prevention and (or) minimization of negative impact on the environment. The author supposes that economic modernization should be supported by the state through the implementation of the related industrial and environmental policies, consisting in direct state participation in the updating of machinery and technological processes in industrial enterprises as well as in indirect: through the use of economic instruments of promoting of the economic subjects (tax incentives, penalties). The author also draws attention to the necessity of preparation and implementation of strategic planning documents at the federal, regional and municipal levels, within which economists must present not only economic but also environmental medium and long-term objectives, targets and indicators.

This article describes the history of discovery, exploration and subsequent geological study of one of the largest copper-zinc pyrite deposits of the Southern Urals – Novouchalinsk and determination of its position in the regional geologic structures. The authors described geological section of the deposit, including the strata and formation members of volcanogenic rocks of rhyolite-basalt subformations (Karamalytash formation D2ef-zv with horizons) of sulfide ores. The strata of the basalt-rhyolite subformation initially bedded subhorizontally underwent synfolded and rupturing deformations. Leading contemporary structure of the deposit, as well as ore field as a whole, is a compressed, meridionally elongated anticlinal fold. It has the ore controlling value. Fold has inherited the element of western edge of a large buried paleovolcano. At the core of the fold is a fragment of this volcano (the lower basalt strata), which is covered with rhyolite-basalt and overlying strata. The authors characterize leading textural varieties of ores: massive, layered breccia, complex. The article contains the proof that zonal structure of the ore deposit field and features of its concentration within the main ore forming components. Obtained data indicates that that the formation of deposit occurred because of two main processes: sulphide deposits in the areas hydrothermal fluids outputs; and subsequent destruction of the mechanical movement of the ore material. Executed paleoreconstruction of the ore field has allowed identifying three ore extracting centers, over which ore hills formed. Their destruction led to appearance of the brecciated and layered breccia ore. Ores with the highest content of sulfur and copper are localized above the effluent channels of hydrothermal fluids, and enriched with zinc – in the overlying rock and on the flanks of emerging centers. Novouchalinsk deposit is the main backup object of Uchalinsk ore mining and processing enterprise.

The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations for improving national economic efficiency of realization of projects of the Arctic on the basis of conceptual proposals on state regulation of the region. Methodical research tools includes statistical and comparative analysis, system analysis, situational analysis of the market, forecasting techniques, methods of peer review. The article presents the research of the role of mining sector in the russian economy and the proof of its raw material nature. Analysis of the global added value chains in the industry showed a low added value of russian companies. Analysis of changes in the structure of the economy based on the advancing coefficients revealed no significant changes in the structure of the economy for the analyzed period. On this basis, the authors concluded that Russian industrial policy in general, and in the Arctic region, in particular is ineffective. The authors identified the problems of formation and implementation of the state industrial policy in the Arctic region, analyzed shortcomings of implemented at this stage state policy in the industrial sector of the Russian Federation. The authors also formulated the conceptual approaches to public policy change in the Arctic on the example of its European part. The basic idea consists of regulating the production chains in such a way as to increase the added value created by the Russian companies involved in the development of the Arctic. At the same time, another problem is solved – the development of the manufacturing industry in the southern regions of the Northwestern Federal District. The study also justifies the necessity of harmonization of the objectives of state regulation of technological chains and companies goals for criteria of improving of national economic efficiency.

Successful implementation of thermic enhanced oil recovery methods requires systematic monitoring of the processes of development of reserves, which is an urgent task of commercial geology. The technique is based on the proposition that if heat carrier is injected into the formation, it must affect not only the formation temperature increase and thereby decrease of viscosity and density of oil, but also lead to changes in nature of formation water mineralization. One should take into account the fact that the movement speed of water in a porous medium will always outpace the speed of thermal conductivity of rocks and its saturating fluid, which will provide more timely and reliable information on the direction of heat carrier flow. The nature of the variation of ionsalt composition depends on the type of heat influence, if steam embeds the formation the salinity of the formation water reduces, and during fire flooding along with a decrease of viscosity and density of oil increases the temperature of the formation water, which increases its chemical activity. Therefore, water produced with the oil, on the background of various salt composition changes, usually has an increased content of ions Na+ + K+ and Cl-. This study allows to reasonably assuming that the thermal influence on layers, in any of its modifications, regardless of their geological heterogeneity, leads to characteristics change in the chemistry of water, which allows making operational changes in development plans using the heat influence. The revealed effect is an argument for including analysis of the hydro-chemical information in the range of research conducted in the course of the heat influence on layers.

The article is devoted to the economic evaluation of environmental protection functions of specially protected areas (PAs), a part of the total value of the flow of services provided by them. The aim of this study is to improve the methodological tools of economic valuation of protected areas, implementing environmental functions, based on the analysis of methodological approaches to the economic valuation PAs lands, considering the basic features and services of protected areas, identifying of specifics of the flow of ecosystem services within the functional areas of protected areas. Authors analyzed the methodological approach, reflected in the technical and tconomic justification of methodology of state cadastral valuation of land reserves and the Timely method of state cadastral valuation of lands of specially protected territories and objects; disclosed positive and negative aspects of each. The authors proved the feasibility of using mixed methodological approach for the economic evaluation of environmental protection functions of PAs that combines direct assessment method (alternative cost) and indirect one (the establishment of correction coefficients reflecting qualitative characteristics of PAs). One can find the author’s methodological recommendations in this article, which present proposals for defining of specific annual standard for average values of PAs land and the establishment of additional coefficients: the uniqueness coefficient of biodiversity at the regional level, coefficient of conservation value of functional PAs land and environmental significance coefficient of PAs. The authors tested guidelines for conditions of the mountainous part of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra within the boundaries of the district Berezovsky.

The paper presents the results of comprehensive petrophysical studies of rock samples, Meso-Cenozoic sediments taken from drilled exploratory wells and geological material of areas of Dzharly-Saatli oil and gas region, with widespread productive strata deposits (PT-Lower Pliocene) that have defined reservoir properties. Authors conducted the studies in the atmospheric and thermodynamic conditions and carried out an analysis of the interpretation of reservoir properties of sedimentary and igneous rocks from the deep exploration wells of areas of Dzharly-Saatli petroleum district. The analysis and interpretation of geological, geophysical and petrophysical materials established that oil and gas bearing reservoirs are mainly related to fractured, by volcanic-sedimentary and carbonate rocks. These brief petrophysical rocks characteristics of the crust sections in Dzharly-Saatli oil and gas region show that all kinds of rocks are characterized by an identical composition, the same degree of metamorphism. Based on the tabulation authors has prepared petrophysical graph showing the change in porosity of the section. The graph shows that with depth, rock porosity decreases with the increase of density and velocity of propagation of ultrasonic waves. The study established dependencies between the physical parameters for individual rocks species, depending on the physical properties and material composition of the rock. Separation by the elasticity and friction is widely used in mining and construction industries. The simplest device for separating by friction is a shelf separator, which consists of the inclined shelf designed to disperse a particle to a speed that will be dependent from friction coefficient. Inclined shelf ends in the bottom with the curved ramp. Curved ramp can be made in an arc with a constant and a variable radius, and it can be considered as the second stage of the preparation of particles with different coefficients of friction for the separation. Authors established experimentally that the friction in this area varies depending on the location of the particle, i.e. radius. At different points of the concave trajectory, the normal pressure of a particle on a curved surface is different. Thus, setting the law of radius variation lets us to control descent speed of the particle from the curved ramp and, thus, the separation efficiency. Using Newton’s second law in the research allowed obtaining in polar coordinates differential equation of motion of the rock particles in the curved trampoline made in the form of a logarithmic spiral. The equation includes spiral parameters: polar radius, the angle between the path tangent and polar radius vector, and the friction coefficient. As a result of the integration of these equations authors obtained velocity of the particle during its descent from the curved ramp, as well as the direction of speed, which allows to determine the initial conditions of motion in free flight of the particle. According to the well-known separation speed of the particle from the curved ramp one can identify its horizontal and vertical components. Then, using the law of conservation of energy and the differential equations of motion of a particle in free flight, authors determined the distance of the particle falling on the horizontal plane, measured from the edge of ramp. The study shows the results of calculations on the model and the results of experiments on a physical model that demonstrates the adequacy of the mathematical model. A curved ramp with a variable radius of curvature provides a larger range of particle distribution that indicates as an increase in the efficiency of the separation process.

В первом номере нынешнего года наш журнал впервые начал печатать статьи на английском языке, причем как в двуязычной версии (статья на русском и её перевод на английский), так и статьи на английском языке с аннотациями на русском. От редакции мы пояснили, что такова политика журнала и отныне мы будем и впредь пе- чатать подобные материалы. Такая позиция вызвала полемику среди читателей и постоянных авторов нашего издания, среди которых нашлись как сторонники, так и противники этой политики. Несмотря на то, что сейчас в России уже многие научные жур- налы не только печатают статьи на иностранных языках, но и порой полностью выходят на английском – с целью быть более доступными международному сообществу – отношение к этому явлению в нашей стране продолжает оставаться неоднозначным. Так, например, в марте 2010 года Юрий Сергеевич Осипов, будучи на тот момент президентом Российской академии наук, в интервью «Газете.Ру» выразил сожаление, что «английский язык стал господствующим в мире» и предложил иностранным коллегам «читать статьи на русском языке», а нашим ученым – поднимать отечественные журналы: «писать в них хорошие статьи, а не посылать их за границу». В ответ на это одно из самых авторитетных в мире науки изданий – журнал Nature – выпустил язвительную редакционную колонку о том, что такое мнение, высказанное не случайным человеком, а президентом РАН, «оказывает очень сильное влияние на российскую науку». И эта колонка Nature вызвала дебаты в среде российских ученых, мнения которых были зачастую диаметрально противоположны. Так что наша дискуссия отнюдь не нова. Как, впрочем, и дискуссия 2010 года, в чем легко убедиться, ознакомившись с мнением на этот счет первого ректора Уральского горного института (и редактора первого номера нашего журнала) Петра Петровича фон Веймарна, высказанное еще в 1920 году. Сегодня мы подхватываем эту дискуссию и готовы продолжать ее на нашем сайте – www.iuggu.ru. Мы прислушиваемся к Вашему мнению и стремимся становиться лучше.

This study reflects the advantages and problems of using the radial active magnetic bearing (AMB). I also describes the existing calculation methods. The traditional method of calculation (developer Yu. N. Zhuravlev) includes a definition of the geometry of the bearing, the calculation of the winding and thermal bearing calculation. To determine the geometry of the radial bearing authors used the optimization approach: the maximum driving force is realized in a given volume by the bearing. The starting point in the procedure of optimization of the geometry is the induction in the gap. It depends on the magnetic properties of the steel used. Unlike electrical machines, magnetic saturation in AMB is not allowed since it causes loss of control. Then authors calculate the bearing winding. Radial bearing has four electromagnets, so its winding contains four circuits. The coils may be included in the circuit either sequentially or parallel. Obviously, a parallel circuit requires higher current but lower voltage. Remagnetization losses on the rotor will be less if the magnetomotive force (MMF) of two adjacent poles of adjacent magnets will have the same direction. Heat bearing calculation consists in determining the maximum temperature of the coil conductor and comparison with the allowable temperature for the used insulation class. The calculation bases on Ohm’s Law for steady heat flow. This method of calculation of the bearing has disadvantages; in result, you get the parameters at which the maximum driving force and the packet length may be more than is necessary. I. V. Zotov and V. G. Lisienko offered the methodology of calculating the bearing. It allows finding the minimum required length of the packet at the maximum electric current. Accordingly, the size and cost of the bearing reduce too. Analysis of the methods showed that it is necessary to improve the calculations in order to minimize the size and cost of the magnetic bearing. It is advisable to use these devices in the rotating parts of mining machines and complexes.

This study considers the problem of improving the calculation of the economic damage caused by the consequences of the development of the natural potential of the area, at the expense of detailing of coefficient of decrease of the economic value of natural resources. The value of this ratio is influenced by two factors: the degree of environmental danger of impact object and the level of stability of landscapes in relation to human impact. According to the results of the expert survey authors have built a system of boundary refinement coefficients, and then, using the apparatus of piecewise linear interpolation, calculated polynomials for defining the intermediate values of the coefficient μ for given values of an influence level x and degree of stability y). The authors substantiate the ability to determine the extent of environmental hazard of the enterprise and the level of sustainability. They analyzed the existing methodic recommendations on the assessment of the considered parameters. One can find a list of 12 indicators to use in relation to mining companies conducting open cast mining. As part of the assessment of the stability of landscapes, study proposes the use of performance indicators, combined into four groups: atmospheric stability, stability of water resources, stability of soil and lithogenic bases, and biological stability. For each of the groups authors give indicators recommended for use in concrete conditions of the study area. Particular attention is paid to the biota, which is considered as a stabilizing factor. Availability of information on the degree of environmental exposures and landscape sustainability, perceiving this effect makes it possible to update the coefficient μ and increase the reliability of the value of economic damage.

Веймарна на этот язык) – 15 предложений, на японском (язык страны, где он прожил последние годы) – 7, на английском (современный язык международного общения) – 2, на русском – 0 (ноль!). Понятна политика времен СССР по отношению к тем, кто эмигрировал. Грустно, что в современной России не нашлось людей, пожелавших восполнить отсутствие русской версии статьи о русском ученом (при наличии немецкой, японской и английской)… Хочется верить, что вскоре кто-нибудь, возможно сотрудник или студент УГГУ, напишет её». The subject of research are suprasalt deposits of the sedimentary cover of the southwestern part of the Caspian Depression. The main tectonic events of this region in the Alpine orogeny phase relate to the formation of salt structures in the Upper Cretaceous and Paleocene rocks. Hence, salt tectonics determine the structure of salt and suprasalt structural complexes. Suprasalt structural complex consists of two structural floors. The lower of these (Upper-Eocene) fills interdome compensation basins, the upper (Miocene-Quaternary) is generally characterized by cloak shaped bedding. The main volume of interdome basins is filled with the Upper-Middle Jurassic deposits, which are leaning against relatively steep slopes of salt domes and flatten out to the centers of basins. Suprasalt complex is well studied in Astrakhan’ arch, where the depth of basins interdome reaches 3000 m. The marks on the base of the Upper Cretaceous carbonates therein range from minus 1200 to minus 2000 m. Above the salt domes in some places persist thin (up to 300–100 m) deposits of Permo-Triassic, Jurassic and lower Cretaceous. The base of the Lower Cretaceous of the salt domes rises to marks of minus 800–1000 m and carbonates of the Upper Cretaceous to minus 500–700 m. Caspian basin is one of the most important oil and gas regions, which has enormous potential resources of hydrocarbons. Influence of tectonic and paleotectonic factors on the formation of oil deposits and gas of Caspian depression took place under favorable combination of lithofacial, geochemical, hydrogeological, and thermobaric conditions that control oil and gas formation and oil and gas accumulation in sedimentary basins. The goal was to identify and trace the regional oil and gas complexes of the suprasalt section within the southwestern part of the Caspian Depression. Within this depression borders, there are the Upper-Triassic, Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous oil and gas complexes, which are associated with the main productive horizons in the southwestern, southeastern and eastern parts of Caspian depression. The paper gives a full description of all the deposits and oil and gas producing complexes. In the Mesozoic complex of the studied region, authors trace the regional oil and gas complexes, various by the nature of saturation, characteristics of structure and the depths of their occurrence. Search for hydrocarbons in suprasalt complex of southwestern part of the Caspian Depression is currently very relevant. The deposits occur at affordable depths and have a wide variety of different types of oil and gas traps.

This article is the third part of the published work on the creation of a unified theory of calculating the stability of slopes. There is no theory for arbitrary geological conditions. Existing individual calculation methods have significant drawbacks. Basically, methodology for calculating the stability of inhomogeneous and undermined slopes does not exist. As for the anisotropic slopes, nowadays there is only one method of calculation. This methodology is based on the fact that the break point of sliding surface satisfies the conditions of the ordinary and special marginal Coulomb balance. However, this technique has some significant drawbacks. The main drawback of said method is that when one determines the bend angle of sliding surface he has to neglect the influence of the stress state (principal stresses), and as a result, a certain bend angle does not depend on the angle of incidence of surface weakening. Methods of study of this work are variational, differential and integral calculus and the theory of stability of homogeneous slopes, which was published earlier. In the first part of the research author examines the general theory of determining of the bend angles of sliding surfaces in the transition from one lithological layer to another and a bend on the weakening surface. The research presents a calculation for anisotropic slope in the case where weakening surface entirely coincides with the sliding surface. In the second part of the research author solves specific examples on the stability of an inhomogeneous, anisotropic and undermined slopes and escribes in detail the procedure for solving of the problems. One can find a comprehensive mathematical apparatus for the implementation of these solutions. All solutions are given in strict mechanical and mathematical formulation.

Research is devoted to the problem of developing guidelines for the economic valuation of ecosystem services of natural potential of the region based on the concept of total economic value. We evaluate ecosystem services based on the classification of ecosystem services of the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment. Provisioning services are the realization of service functions or natural resources. Author evaluated provisioning services according to the methodical recommendations on the economic valuation of natural resources. Economic evaluation of regulatory services took place in several stages: 1) analysis of land in the area; 2) allocation of land (related ecosystems), occupying the largest area in the region; 3) identification of the most important ecosystem services for each type of land based on the expert assessments; 4) economic assessment of ecosystem services (environmental resources) relating to the priority. Analysis of the land in this area involves the formation of structures with land allocation: agricultural land, land covered with trees and shrubs, building land, marsh lands, forest lands; land under water, roads and others. Highlighting the most important ecological services was performed by the results of the expert survey. Experts estimate the significance level of provided services in points. Supporting services are necessary for the existence of the ecosystems and its ecosystem services provision, so in order to avoid double counting supporting services are not the subject for economic assessment. Cultural services are the subject to assessment both by the formulas, and by carrying out surveys on the population’s willingness to pay for the preservation of the ecosystem and, as a consequence, of its spiritual and religious values. These guidelines are approved at Berezovsky District (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District (KhMAD), Russia). The studies provide the basis for improved methods for assessing ecosystem services, their classification, as well as the rapid assessment of any of the analyzed region.

In 1966, “Gosha” gold mine hosted its first geological exploration works and six ore zones were found. In subsequent years, scientists carried out detailed exploration resulting in 17 known and studied zones. Since 2009, international mining company develops this deposit, and it proved that the areas 13 and 13a are mega-rich with gold ore mineralization. Implemented investigation of the development system confirmed that Gosha gold mine requires concrete development system that can fully meet natural and technical conditions of the deposit. We studied different development systems for the development of the deposit and gave their outcome in the article. Considering the main criterions and factors necessary for choosing development system, we propose the system “Wells with open face, breaking of ore by blast holes, from the top to bottom”. Strong and weak features, opportunities and dangers of the offered development system and the results of the SWOT analysis one can find in the article. In comparison with others, the proposed variant of the development system has the following properties: it allows saving initial economic losses, and it decreases volume of mining works (filling the developed gaps is not required). Our proposed options for development systems Goshinsky gold deposit fully meet the conditions of natural and technological fields and can be applied to other ore deposits of Azerbaijan and neighboring countries with similar mining and geological conditions.

Первый номер («первый том») журнала «Известия Уральского горного института», вышедший под редакцией П. П. фон Веймарна, готовившийся в Екатеринбурге с 1917 г., и выпущенный лишь в марте 1920 г. во Владивостоке, был в издательском смысле очень необычным. Он издавался в двух вариантах: в первом варианте – все разделы, с I по IV, тиражом 1000 экз.; во втором – лишь III и IV разделы – тиражом 500 экз. Веймарн объяснил в предисловии, что именно III и IV разделы «особенно будут интересны студентам». По иронии судьбы лишь «студенческий» вариант этого номера сохранился до нашего времени: экземпляры таких журналов, хотя и стали библиографической редкостью, но всё же сохранились в библиотеках Владивостока (где издавался журнал) и Екатеринбурга (куда, скорее всего, привез его М. О. Клер – единственный из профессоров Уральского горного, который, уехав в эвакуацию во Владивосток, вернулся обратно в Екатеринбург). Таким образом и исследователи, и редакция нашего журнала располагают лишь его урезанным вариантом. Однако исследователю творчества П. П. фон Веймарна из Владивостока Н. В. Хисамутдиновой, удалось обнаружить в библиотеке Общества изучения Амурского края фрагмент I части журнала – статью П. П. фон Веймарна «Очерки по энергетике культуры». Мы не смогли пройти мимо этой уникальной находки и с удовольствием вновь публикуем эту статью. Немного о самих «Очерках». Как пишет автор в предисловии, идеи, изложенные в них, он впервые обнародовал ещё в 1914 г., однако из изложенного материала видно, что эти идеи развивались и дополнялись в тот период, когда он был ректором Уральского горного института, и вплоть до этой публикации. Менялась и концепция нумерации. Так, например, первый очерк (который имеется и здесь) вышел также в мае 1919 г. в первом номере студенческого журнала Уральского горного института «Молодая Русь», причём во втором номере был обещан очерк, «посвященный подробному изложению нормальной конструкции рационально поставленной школы», однако для журнала «Известия Уральского горного института» Веймарн предпочел отложить эту публикацию, поставив вторым приведённый здесь очерк о развитии естествознания. Также из предисловия ясно, что очерков было написано как минимум шесть, однако публикация так и остановилась на втором, т.к. это был единственный номер, который удалось выпустить Веймарну. Были ли когда-то опубликованы остальные очерки? Нам об этом пока ничего не известно. Можно лишь с очень большой долей уверенности предположить, что в России они точно не публиковались, т. к. уже в 1921 г. Веймарн эмигрировал в Японию и не возвращался на родину уже до самой смерти в 1935 г.

The subject of this article is a study of the process of work rationing for employees involved in the selection of personnel in recruiting companies. This article contains the study of features of work rationing in recruiting. The purpose of this article is an analysis of the features of four main elements of the process of work rationing for separate category of employees – recruiters. In the course of the author’s study were used scientific methods of study, such as analysis of normative, scientific, educational and practical literature, abstraction, synthesis, classifying; such empirical methods as observation and comparison were used. The main results are a presentation of the author’s classification of working time of recruiters, an analysis of the possibility of applying the methods of labor processes studying. Authors describe the methods, which, according to authors, are suitable for the study of labor of recruiters. Was studied regulatory and scientific base, available in modern Russia for the calculation of labor standards in recruiting. Authors prove a conclusion about the impossibility of using analytical and computational methods for calculating the standards of the modern recruiting in Russia. Authors adapted of classical approach of applying analytical research method in labor norming to the activities of recruiters. The study reveals specific content of the system of labor standards in recruiting. These results can be used in practical activity of recruiting companies for labor organization and rationing of core staff, in the educational process of colleges and universities during the preparation of bachelors and masters in human resource management, and may be an element of further development of the scientific field of Labor Economics. The results presented in the article are the enrichment of theoretical and methodological base of work rationing of a separate category of employees – recruiters.

The article discusses the negative impact of mining and metallurgical enterprises of the Middle and South Urals on water resources. Authors define characteristic pollutants for mineral resources complex, including ferrous, nonferrous metallurgy and mining enterprises of building materials. Authors also show the information about water pollution contaminants, including metals, nitrogen compounds, sulfates, manganese and other substances. The article describes main causes of pollution and measures to reduce the negative impact. The article also shows information about the excesses of the concentration of pollutants on maximum allowable concentration and quality of surface water for the Southern and Middle Urals and gives characterization for many rivers by a high degree of contamination. The article deals with measures to reduce the negative impact on the water resources of the Urals, which in 2014 planned and (or) have implemented the largest mining and metallurgical enterprises in the region, such as Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Compa- ny, Uchalinsky Mining and Processing integrated works, Uralasbest, Gayskiy Mining and Processing integrated works, Sibayskiy Mining and Processing integrated works, Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Company. Authors provide information about the level of funding for these activities. In summary, environmental engineering on water resources which is based on culling component of value and on using current topographic features (i.e. coffins) stays as an actual problem for Ural enterprises. These questions need a timely solution for reducing neg- ative impact on surface of the water body.

The author analyses the main methods of instrumental control of outburst potash beds. The main drawbacks of existing methods of forecasting gas-dynamic phenomena in potassium massifs is the low level of automation and the cyclicity of measurements in a certain interval or period of time, resulting in reduced productivity of combine mechanized complexes and a negative impact on security of implementation of technological processes in the extraction chambers. The study formulates basic requirements, according to which it is necessary to carry out the development of methods and techniques of forecasting of gas-dynamic phenomena in the potash beds. This article describes a construction and functions of software and recording complex VATUR developed by employees of the department «Mining Electrical Engineering» of Perm National Research Polytechnic University. One can examine the results of experimental studies assessing the magnitude and nature of changes of the energy parameters of the process of destruction in potash massif by cutters of working parts of shaft-sinking cleansing combines URAL-20R. Studies have shown that the method of measurement and instruments provide detection of deviations of specific energy consumption of the process of destruction of potash massifs by working parts of combine with high precision and speed. The results of experimental studies allow substantiating the prospect of use of devices of registration of energy operating parameters of mining combines in the prediction of gas- dynamic phenomena in the potash mines. One can use the proposed concept of software measuring complex in the development of on-board recorders of operating parameters of shaft-sinking cleansing combines of potash mines.

The article describes the mechanisms for the implementation of resource-saving policy of the mining enterprise, based on the close relationship of this policy with the trends of ecological activity. Among trends of the ecological activity are manufacturing, control and regulatory, organizational and management, human resources, financial and economic. Given that the production line was considered earlier, the attention of researchers is occupied with four main types of ecological activity. Disclosure of the contents of each of the areas is performed from the perspective of the implementation of resource-saving policies. Managing of ecological activity requires a system of indicators that can be used for planning and subsequent monitoring of the execution. If there are any deviations of actual indicators from planned, the deviations causes are investigated and correction is performed if necessary. Among the fundamental principles that are reflected in ecological activity is the compliance with environmental legislation, the recognition of the leading role of directorship in the development of resource-saving policy, the reality of formed intentions, openness to the company’s employees and the general public, a systematic assessment of the impact etc. The proposed system of estimated indicators can be considered as basis of planning of the environmental activities in the company, reflecting resource-saving nature of the latter.

The results of the second year of research under the grant № 14-18-00456 (Russian Science Foundation) are reflected in the article. It is implemented under the leadership of Academician, Dr in Economics A. I. Tatarkin. As a result of the research we have developed consistent aspects of the geological- ecological- social- and economic approach from the consistency point of view. It demanded to address the system theory and explore the relationship between the natural and socio-economic subsystems within the ecological and economic system. Based on the identified trends we demonstrate the necessity of investment projects of the development of the natural potential (which is being developed in the framework of regional ecological and economic systems) that are oriented on the equilibrium of natural resource management. The natural resource management provides a balanced environmental capacity of the technosphere and ecological technology capacity of the area. Particular attention is paid to the ecological optimization of the landscape with the help of a network of special protected natural areas (SPNA). We have found the distinctive features of the modern Russian system of SPNA, detailed a list of ecosystem and resource functions within the different types of SPNA, systematized methodical approaches to the justification of the network of SPNA, improved methodological tools of economic evaluation of the lands with nature reserve purposes. We have also developed guidelines for the assessment of the environmental situation the territory, based on the excess of the actual components of the pollution indicators of the environment over the background or maximum allowable concentration. The second stage of evaluation procedures in respect of renewable natural resources providing an investment zoning is detailed. Based on the potential demand for natural resources we recommend allocating the seven typical landscaped areas, five of which are estimated in the article. The program of group development of the prospect objects with mineral potential of the North Subpolar and Polar Urals is supplemented by the scenario and determined the size of a possible investment reduction from the beginning of the opening of a deposit. Completeness of institutional capacity in relation to Russia and Kazakhstan is estimated. We have identified the emerging social and environmental effects of the industrial and transport development of northern territories. The article offers a methodical approach of enlarged assessment of economic damage, based on the decrease in the economic value of natural resources under the influence of anthropogenic impact. Lines of possible balance between tra- ditional and industrial natural resource management is formulated. We offer the methodological tools of assessment the comfort of living providing for the use of the scores in the zonal and azonal factors approved for areas within the prospective transport corridor. These studies are the basis for the construction of the optimization of economic and mathematical models aimed at the selection of variants of the natural potential development meeting the requirements of the equilibrium of natural resource management.

The current economic and energetic situation in the coal mining regions of Ukraine along with the need to solve problems of importing and development of their own natural gas fields determines the need for establishment of the suitability and search of aquafier geological structures for the accumulation of seasonal reserves of gaseous hydrocarbons. Based on the analysis of regional and local geological and hydro-geodynamic conditions authors set criteria for assessing the possible injection of hydrocarbon gas in the flooded rocks. With the help of these criteria, regionalization of Western Donbass was performed and Leventsovsky geological structure was selected, which has Permian-Triassic aquifer in an embedded section. Dedicated manifold is represented by a greenish-gray, quartz-feldspar coarse grained sandstones with interbedded highly kaolinized sands and relatively homogeneous in physical and mechanical properties, mineralogical and granulometric composition. Water contained therein is characterized by high mineralization value, high rigidity and total unsuitability for irrigation, domestic and industrial purposes. Interpretation of the data, gained on the investigated area of experimental filtration works, carried out by its appropriate hydrogeological and technological schematic, analytical calculations and graphic-analytical method showed that the filter coefficients and piezoconductivity of the aquifer vary accordingly within the limits 1,51–3,66 m/day and 4,5–9,1*106 m2/day. The calculated values of filtration parameters allow us to consider this as a promising water bearing manifold gas storage facility; they were used in the calculations to determine its capacity characteristics, according to which the working volume of the intended storage will be 150 million m3 and will partially smooth out seasonal fluctuations in gas consumption in the south-eastern part of Ukraine.

Berezovsk post magmatic deposit (Middle Ural) is a classic gold mine object of quartz-vein type with a unique geological and structural position, and therefore the identification of laws of placing of ore miner- alization at such a facility makes it possible to discover new objects of this type, and not only in the Urals. Berezovsk deposit is characterized by joint presense of granitoids and hyperbasites in the areas of gold mineralization. It was found that the gold mineralization is spatially associated with basit-hyperbasites of Pyshminsk-Berezovsk massif, but is maximally manifested in the area of its intersection with Berezovsk dike complex. The article shows the role of ore generating intrusive magmatism in the distribution of gold mineralization of Berezovsk gold deposit, settles close relationship of ore mineralization with intrusive igneous rocks, dunite-harzburgite, gabbro, tonalite, granodiorite and granite formations. It has been shown that the development of mineralization in the ore field is the result of multiple stepwise anatexis associated with diverse geological processes of early and late collisions that led to the formation of pluton of granitoids with dike bundles of granitoids, containing postmagmatic steeply dipping quartz-sulphide transverse to the dikes veins. Hydrothermal mineralization of Berezovsk ore field is genetically linked to the Grand Shartashsk massif of granitoids of tonalite-granodiorite formation. This is confirmed by a vertical zonation of wallrock metasomatic rocks within of Berezovsk ore field, as well as zoning of productive ore mineral associations, defined by power and form of Shartashsk massif roofing. Ore localizing role of mag- matism in the distribution of gold mineralization in quartz-sulfide veins of Berezovsk deposits is caused by geological and structural position of of Berezovsk ore field, early-collisional magmatism of dike series and late-collision post-magmatic activity. Pulses of tectonic movements preceded all these processes.

This article is the second part of the published work on the creation of a unified theory of calculating the stability of slopes. There is no theory for arbitrary geological conditions and even in homogeneous rock masses. Those individual calculation methods that already exist have a number of significant drawbacks. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop a rigorous method for evaluating the stability of similar slopes and its further modification under more difficult conditions. The paper presents and proposes the use of a fundamentally new theory for calculating the stability of slopes and grounds, designed by the author and based on the fundamental theorems and principles of mechanics, such as the principle of possible displacements of Lagrange, Gauss principle of least constraint, Ostrogradskiy theorem of least lost work, and so on. The basis of the mathematical apparatus of the proposed theory is vibrational, differential and integral calculus. Drawing on the theory, author developed the method of calculation of stability of homogeneous slopes. Using the principle of virtual displacements, the author deduces the condition of stability of the prism offset in general. On the basis of the theorem of least lost work author obtains an equation that allows to overcome the static uncertainty of the problem for assessment of equilibrium of the elementary compartment (unit). Author studied law of distribution of interblock reactions along the sliding surface with the corresponding proof of the results. The article also shows the derived formulas for the construction of the weakest sliding surfaces in homogeneous isotropic slopes. Author constructed sliding surfaces for the most commonly used values of slope angles and internal friction. One can see an assessment of the stability and extreme geometrical parameters of flat homogeneous slopes. Author received a nomogram of stability of flat homogeneous slopes. There also is a timetable for determining the width of the prism of possible collapse.
