Face and Non Face detection is a technology with a hefty range of applications such as access banking, information security, human computer communication, fundamental reality, and database recovery etc. This paper addresses the building of face detection system by using an image-based approach towards artificial intelligence and image compression using two-dimensional discrete cosine transform.
