Beden ve cinsiyetçi imgeler tarihsel süreç içerisinde toplumsal cinsiyet kavramlarına bağlı olarak mimari yapılarda farklı biçimlerde kullanılmıştır. Kadın ve erkeğin toplumsal rolüne bağlı olarak anaerkil, ataerkil ve eşitlikçi olarak adlandırılan üç dönemde cinslerin mimari temsilleri oluşmuştur. Anaerkil toplum düzeninde kutsal olarak nitelendirilen kadın bedenine ait dişil, ataerkil dönemde ise erili temsil eden biçimler mimari yapıları şekillendirmiştir. Toplumsal cinsiyet kavramlarının değişmesi ile yeniden inşa edilen cinsiyet tanımları eşitlikçi dönemde kendi üslubunu üretmiştir. Yapılarda kullanılan beden ve cinsiyetçi imgeler, cinslerin toplumsal statüsünü, mimarlık ve toplum düzeni arasındaki ilişkiyi okuyabilmek adına tarihin her döneminden günümüze önemli veriler taşımıştır. In the historical process, the body and sexist images have been used in different forms in architecture according as the concepts of social gender. Depending on the social roles of women and men, the architectural representations of sexes have been formed in three periods called as matriarchal, patriarchal and egalitarian. Feminine figures belonging to the female body regarded as sacred in matriarchal society and the figures representing masculine in patriarchal society have formed architectural structures. The definitions of gender reconstructed with the alteration of the concepts for social gender have produced their own style in the egalitarian period. The body and sexist images used in the structures have transferred important data from each period of the history to perceive the social status of sexes and the relation between architecture and social order.

Araştırmada üstbilişsel öğretim stratejileri içeren etkinliklerin çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerde öz düzenleme becerileri ve bunların kalıcılığına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Çalışma, ön test-son test kontrol, gruplu modele göre düzenlenmiştir. Araştırmada deney ve kontrol grubunda 15 öğrenci yer almıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde parametrik olmayan test teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Üstbilişsel öğretim stratejilerinin kullanıldığı deney grubundaki öğrencilerin, yapılan uygulamalar sonucunda algılanan öz düzenleme düzeylerinin arttığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmanın denenceleri üç ayrı zamanda toplanan veriler ile yapılan analiz sonucunda ortaya çıkan bulgular kapsamında tartışılmıştır. In the current study, the effects of teaching based on metacognitive teaching strategies on students’ self-regulation skills were investigated. The present study was conducted according to pre-test-post-test-control group design that is one of the experimental research methods. There were 15 students in each group in the study. In data analysis, non parametric tests were used. The findings show that teaching based on metacognitive teaching strategies increased students’ perceived self-regulation skills in the experimental group. Findings obtained from the statistical analyzes applied to the measurements made in three time periods were discussed in the context of the essays which constitute the basis of the research.

This article probes into the meaningfulness of work as a potential mediator between paternalistic leadership and well-being as well as an outcome, being one of the dimensions of psychological empowerment. This is addressed in this preparatory study. According to hypothesis, leadership behavior, ahead of that of other influential variables, can contribute to the prediction of psychologic well-being at work. In order to measure paternalistic leadership behaviour, we have used a questionnaire-based instrument whose validity and reliability of the instrument have already been proven by Aycan in Turkey. The research hypothesis was tested using single and multiple regression by the mediating model of Baron and Kenny within a convenience sample consisting of 77 males and females working in a variety of organizations, occupations, and industries in Turkey. The results of the analyses conducted have revealed that benevolent paternalistic leadership and executive/authorized paternalistic leadership factors have significant effects on positive effect and negative effect factors of well-being construct and the work meaningfulness variable has a mediating role on these effects. In addition, it has been exhibited that executive/authorized benevolent leadership has a significant effect on fulfillment factor of well-being construct and the variable work meaningfulness has a mediating role on this effect. Additional evidence is provided herein, with respect to the fact that leadership behaviour can affect employee well-being and it is suggested that the individuals that seek creating healthier workplaces should not neglect supervision. It is argued that, for those concerned with psychosocial working conditions, it is now sufficiently justifiable to consider supervisor behaviour as a potentially influential variable. Moreover, a new model is presented in the study for assessing the supervisor behavior with the potential value for the future studies. Bu makale, paternalist liderlik ile psikolojik iyi olma durumu arasında potansiyel bir arabulucu olarak, psikolojik güçlenmenin boyutlarından biri olan iş anlamlılığını analiz etmektedir. Çalışmada belirlenen hipoteze göre, liderlik davranışı, diğer etkili değişkenlerin ötesinde, işyerinde psikolojik refahın tatmini için katkıda bulunabilir. Babacan liderlik davranışını ölçmek için, “Aycan” tarafından Türkiye’de geçerliliğini ve güvenilirliğini ispatlamış olan bir ölçek kullanılmıştır. Araştırma hipotezi tek ve çoklu regresyon kullanılarak Baron ve Kenny aracı etki modeliyle test edilmiştir. Türkiye’de çeşitli organizasyonlar, meslekler ve endüstrilerde çalışan 77 erkek ve kadın araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda; iyiliksever babacan liderlik ve icracı/yetkili babacan liderlik faktörlerinin, iyi olma yapısının altında yer alan pozitif etki ve negatif etki boyutları üzerinde anlamlı etkilere sahip olduğu ve işin anlamlılığı değişkeninin bu etkiler üzerinde kısmi aracılık rolünün bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca; icracı/yetkili babacan liderliğin, iyi olma yapısının altında yer alan gerçekleşme boyutu üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu ve işin anlamlılığı değişkeninin bu etki üzerinde tam aracılık rolünün bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, liderlik davranışının çalışanların refahını etkileyebileceği ve sağlıklı işyeri yaratmaya çalışan kişilerin bunu göz ardı etmemesi gerektiği konusunda ilave kanıtlar sağlamaktadır. Psikososyal çalışma koşullarıyla ilgilenen kişiler için yöneticilerin davranışlarını, çalışanlar üzerinde etkili bir değişken olarak ele almak gerekebilir. Bu çerçevede, gelecekteki çalışmalar için önemli bir potansiyele sahip olan yöneticilerin davranışını değerlendirmek için yeni bir model sunulmaktadır.

Son dönem Osmanlı edebiyatının en velût kalemlerinden Abdülhak Hâmid Tarhan, Cumhuriyet Türkiyesi’nde de varlık gösterebilmiş ve bununla beraber dönemin muktedirleri tarafından sahiplenilmiş istisnai bir tarihsel şahsiyettir. Geride bıraktığı külliyat her ne kadar teknik açıdan Cumhuriyet elitlerinin idealleri ve kültürel dönüşüm tasarıları ile tezat oluşturacak derecede “Osmanlı” hüviyetinde olsa da çeşitli yorumlama ve tevil girişimleriyle onun edebî şahsiyeti, tasarlanmaya çalışılan modern-seküler ulusal kanona bir referans hâline getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ölümünün (1937) hemen ardından CHP Halkevleri çatısı altında şair için düzenlenen anma törenleri kapsamında oluşan gündem ve bu merasimlerin icra ediliş biçimleri ilgili bağlamda önemli veriler barındırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, söz konusu anma törenlerinde sergilenen ritüeller, teatral sunumlar ve şair hakkında irad edilen nutuklardan hareketle Abdülhak Hâmid’in hangi dayanaklar çerçevesinde bir ulusal deha olarak yorumlanıp mitleştirilmeye çalışıldığı ele alınacaktır. Abdulhak Hamid Tarhan was one of the most active writers of the late Ottoman period and his corpus can be evaluated as the ‘modern Ottoman’ one. Althought he continued to write in the Republican period, his style and standpoint reflects an Ottoman taste that was not fit well to the Republican elits’ aims to redress the literary genres according to their new ideals. Nevertheless after his death in 1937, Hamid’s personality, but not much his corpus, was used to create a new national(ist) memory and space around his name as was the case to the most of the literary personas. In these attempts, as a ruling and only party of the period, People’s Houses hold ceremonies to commemorate Hamid. Strangely enough these commemorations didn’t aim to respect an important writer’s corpus, but to the contrary, to perform rituals that were very convenient to the ruling elits’ aspirations to create a new, secular and modern national memory and space. This article deals with these ceremonies, rituals and commemorations held in the name of Hamid in all part of Turkey in order to show that these must be seen as a way of trying to a national myth around the Republican regime.

ثبتت العديد من البحوث العلمية أهمية مشاركة التلميذ في العملية التعليمية ولا يمكن للمتعلم أن يحقق غاياته بعيدا عن مساهمات المعلم، والدراسة الحالية تأتي في سياق الدراسات التي تهتم بالعلاقة بين المعلم والمتعلم، فهي تهدف إلى تقصي فاعلية التعلم التعاوني في تحسين مستوى التحصيل الدراسي لتلاميذ السنة الخامسة إبتدائي. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف ارتأت الباحثات أن يتضمن البحث ثلاث مباحث رئيسية : الأول مبحث نظري و يشتمل على السياق النظري لبروز مفهوم التعلم التعاوني و كذا التحصيل الدراسي والمبحث الثاني منهجي ويشتمل على إشكالية الدراسة، فرضياتها وتحديد للمفاهيم الرئيسية الواردة في البحث، أما المحور الثالث فهو ميداني وفيه تم شرح إجراءات الدراسة الميدانية التي قامت بها الباحثات وصولا إلى نتائج البحث وتفسيرها. وقد استخدمت الباحثات لهذا الهدف عينة تجريبية تكونت من 24 تلميذا و تلميذة وعينة ضابطة تكونت من 42 تلميذا وتلميذة من تلاميذ السنة الخامسة ابتدائي بولاية الجلفة، و قد تم تطبيق استراتيجية التعلم التعاوني على العينة التجريبية بعد التأكد من تشابه العينتين التجريبية والضابطة من حيث مستوى التحصيل ودرجات الذكاء والمستوى الثقافي والاقتصادي، أما القياس البعدي فقد تم فيه الاعتماد على نتائج تحصيل التلاميذ في الفصل الثاني. ودلت نتائج الدراسة على وجود فروق بين العينة التجريبية والعينة الضابطة في التحصيل الدراسي لصالح العينة التجريبية . Birçok bilimsel araştırma öğrencinin eğitim sürecine katılımının önemini ispat etti. Ayrıca öğretmen katkıları olmaksızın öğrencinin hedeflerini gerçekleştirmesinin mümkün olmadığını da gösterdi. Bu çalışma öğrenciyle öğretmen arasındaki ilişkinin önemini gözeten çalışmalar kapsamındadır. Çalışma, ilköğretim beşinci sınıf öğrencilerine akademik başarı kazandırmada işbirlikli öğrenmenin etkinliğini araştırmayı amaçlıyor. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmacılar çalışmanın üç ana bölümde incelemesi gerektiğine karar verdi. İlk olarak teorik bölüm, işbirlikli öğrenme kavramının ortaya çıkışının teorik bağlamını ve akademik başarıyı içerir. İkinci bölüm ise metodolojiktir, çalışmanın problemi, hipotezleri ve araştırmada bulunan temel kavramların tanımını kapsar. Üçüncü bölümdeyse saha çalışması yer alır, burada saha çalışmasında uygulanan prosedürler açıklanmıştır. Bu uygulamalar doğrultusunda araştırmacılar çalışmanın sonuçlarına varmışlar ve onu yorumlamışlardır. Araştırmacılar Djelfa eyaletinde ilkokul beşinci sınıfta okuyan 24 öğrenciden oluşan deney grubu ve yine 24 öğrenciden oluşan bir kontrol grubu kullandılar. Deney grubundaki öğrencilerin başarı seviyeleri, IQ skorları, kültürel ve ekonomik düzeyleri açısından benzerlikleri tespit edildikten sonra işbirlikçi öğrenme stratejileri bu gruba uygulanmıştır. İleri ölçüm ise bu gruptaki öğrencilerin ikinci yarıyıl sonu başarıları neticesinde tamamlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları ise deney grubunun lehine olmak üzere deney grubu ve kontrol grubu arasında akademik başarıda farklılıklar olduğunu göstermiştir. Many scientific research has proven the importance of student participation in the educational process and a learner can’t achieve his targets away from the contributions of the teacher. This study is in the context of studies that consider the relationship between teacher and learner and it aims to investigate the effectiveness of cooperative learning in raising academic achievement for students in the fifth year of primary schooling. In order to achieve this aim, the researchers decided that the research should include three main topics: The first is a theoretical study that includes the theoretical context for the emergence of the concept of cooperative learning and the academic achievement. The second subject is systematic and it includes the problem of the study, its hypotheses and definition of the main concepts in the research. And the third is field research, where the procedures applied in field work are explained. In line with these practices, researchers have arrived at the end of the study and have interpreted it. The researchers used an experimental group consisting of 24 students and a control group consisting of 24 students in the fifth year of primary school in the state of Djelfa. The cooperative learning strategy was applied to the experimental group after confirming the similarities between the experimental samples in terms of achievement level, IQ scores, their cultural and economic levels. And the post-measurement has been based on the results of student academic achievement in end of second semester. The results of the study showed that there were differences between the experimental group and the control group in the academic achievement in favor of the experimental sample.

Bu çalışmada çağdaş Azerbaycan edebiyatının önemli isimlerinden biri olan Elçin Efendiyev’in Mahmut ile Meryem romanı yeniden-yazma yöntemine göre incelenecektir. 1984 yılında kitap halinde yayımlanan Mahmut ile Meryem romanında yazar, Aslı ve Kerem hikâyesini alt metin olarak almış ve yeniden-yazma yöntemiyle modern bir metin üretmiştir. Efendiyev, eserini yeniden yazarken hikâyenin olay örgüsüne bağlı kalmış; ancak mesaj, olay, kişi, zaman, mekân, tür vb. unsurlara önemli ölçüde müdahalede bulunmuştur. Aslı ve Kerem hikâyesi karşısında romanına bireysel ve toplumsal olmak üzere başka temalar yerleştirmiştir. Kişi kadrosunun genişletildiği gözlenen romanda, hikâyedeki yalın kat kişilere karşı psikolojik boyutları olan kişiler yerleştirmiştir. En önemli değişiklik ise romanın temel iletisinde sezilir. Aslı ve Kerem hikâyesi aşk iletisi üzerine kurulmuşken romanın iletisi insan sevgisidir. This study will examine the novel called Mahmut with Meryem by Elcin Efendiyev, one of the most important names in contemporary Azerbaijani literature, according to the “re-writing” method. In Mahmut with Meryem, which was published in 1984 as a novel, the author took the story of Aslı and Kerem as a sub-text and produced a modern text by using the re-writing method. Although whilst re-writing her book Efendiyev remained close to the plot; she interfered significantly with the elements such as message, event, people, time, place, genre, etc.. Some individual and social themes have been added on top of the story of Aslı and Kerem. As well as expanding the cadre people with psychological depth have been placed instead of certain the plain characters in the novel. The most significant change is felt in the basic delivery of the novel. While the story of Aslı and Kerem is based on romantic love, the message of the novel is human love.

Sabri F. Ülgener iktisat tarihine yönelik çalışması ile Türk tarihçiliği ve sosyolojisi içinde oldukça istisnai ve mümtaz bir yerde durmaktadır. Yaşadığı dönemde, Türk düşünce ve bilim hayatı açısından oldukça yeni olan iktisadi hayat ve zihniyet arasındaki ilişkiyi eserlerinin temel meselesi olarak ele almış ve düşünce ufkumuzu genişletmiştir. Yine de Ülgener’i, bu meseleyi nihayete erdiren bir kişi olmaktan ziyade yeni bir problem alanını Türk düşüncesine takdim eden birisi olarak görmemiz gerekir. Makalede Ülgener’in neleri vukufla açıklayabildiği ve nerelerde yetersiz kaldığı ve ayrıca çalışmasını yönlendiren temel siyasi saikın ne olduğunu ortaya konmaya çalışılacaktır. Son olarak Ülgener’in analizinin sosyolojik teori içinde nereye yerleştirilebileceği tespit edilmeye çalışılacaktır. Sabri F. Ülgener stands in a very exceptional and prestigious place within Turkish historiography and sociology with his work on the economic history of Turkey. As the main issue of his work, Ülgener introduced a new area of study to Turkish intellectual and scientific life: the relation between economic life and mentality. He, it is fair to say, singlehandedly expanded the horizons of our thought in this area. Nevertheless, we should consider Ülgener as a person who presents this new field of problem to Turkish thought rather than a person who says the last word on this matter or solves the problem. This article tries to demonstrate what Ülgener is able to explain explicitly and where he is inadequate as well as the basic political motive that drives his work. Lastly, it will be tried to define the position of Ülgener’s work in sociological theory.

İstanbul’un Eyüp semtinde, 16.yüzyılın başında inşa edilmiş olan Cezerî Kasım Paşa Camii günümüzde Nişanca Mahallesi’nde yer almaktadır. Cami, tek kubbeli kare planlı bir yapı olup, giriş kapısı üzerinde yer alan kitabeye göre Sultan II. Mahmud Döneminde (1808-1839) kapsamlı bir onarım geçirmiştir. Arşiv belgelerine göre, yapının son cemaat yeri, minare gibi bazı bölümlerinde de onarımlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sağlam bir şekilde günümüze ulaşan yapıda renkli taş kullanımı yanı sıra, sınırlı sayıda da olsa çini, hat sanatı, ağaç işi ve kalem işi örnekleri görmemiz mümkündür. Cezerî Kasım Paşa Mosque, which was built in Eyüp district of Istanbul in the early 16th century, is located in Nişanca Neighbourhood today. The mosque is a square planned structure with a single dome and, according to the epitaph on the entrance door, has been through a comprehensive restoration within the period of Sultan Mahmud II. (1808-1839) According to archive documents, some restorations also took place on parts like the narthex and minaret. Along with coloured stones, and although limited, there are specimens of tile art, calligraphy, woodwork and hand-drawn ornament in the extant mosque.
