The Journal of Philology and Linguistics of the University of Costa Rica (RFL) is a publication dedicated to the dissemination of academic articles on current topics in the fields of philology, linguistics and literature. It publishes semi-annually (the first issue covers April to September, and the second October to March). The journal has a committee of expert external evaluators who perform reviews which are double blind which ensures the complete anonymity of all parties. Languages of publication include Spanish, German, French, English and Portuguese. There is no fee for receiving, processing or publishing articles; this guarantees the free editorial process.
