  • Iuris Dictio is a refereed publication oriented to the study of law. Its objective is to disseminate original and recent research that contributes to the analysis and discussion of the complex legal phenomenon. Iuris Dictio is published every six months and all its articles are freely accessible and circulated, with the aim of disseminating the debate in an extensive and regular manner and within the framework of a socially responsible international academy. The journal was founded in 1998 and is attached to the College of Jurisprudence of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. It is based on the Liberal Arts philosophy and, as such, welcomes specialists from diverse institutions and academic experiences as part of its editorial team. In its desire to understand the contemporary world, the journal tries to combine general legal analysis with the specialization required by certain legal topics, through the publication of innovative and quality articles and reviews by people interested in academic work. Iuris Dictio is oriented to a legal specialist public. However, the Interviews section seeks to have a more informative scope that aims to allow people who do not necessarily know law in depth to approach the legal work.
