Chirurgia is a bimonthly journal, an open access journal, published in English and, has a comprehensive but prompt peer-review process coordinated by a strong editorial team of experts from Romania, Europe, USA and Asia.. In Chirurgia, original papers in the area of general surgery which neither appeared, nor were sent for publication in other periodicals, can be published. Chirurgia accepts for publication original articles, new surgical techniques, or comprehensive general reports on surgical topics, clinical case presentations and, depending on publication space, - reviews of some articles of general interest to surgeons.
Chirurgia only accepts electronic submission of manuscripts, directly onto the journal’s Web site.
Chirurgia provides free access to the full text of articles. The abstract of each of the published articles will immediately be placed on PubMed. Chirurgia uses LinkOut service to provide links from PubMed abstracts to full-text articles.
