Objective:To determine the association between risk factorsandthepresenceofpreeclampsia. Methodology:retrospectivestudyofcasesand controls through the collection of clinical records of pregnant women attended at the Iquitos Hospital César GarayarGarcía(Iquitos,Peru)fromJanuaryto September, 2015. For the group of cases (pregnant womenwithpreeclampsia),thesamplewas80 women. For the group of controls (pregnant women without a diagnosis of preeclampsia) the sample was 80. For the bivariate analysis, the chi-square test was applied. It was also used a multivariate analysis with logistic regression to calculate Odds Ratio (OR) with 95%confidenceintervals.Results:riskfactors associated with preeclampsia were: age>35 years (OR: 1.6); Reside in rural areas (OR: 2.2); Primary or non-education(OR:1.6);Nulliparity(OR:1.2); Gestational age 32-36 weeks (OR: 2.9); To have between zero and five prenatal controls (OR: 6.3); Have a family (OR: 10.6) and personal history (OR: 40.1) of preeclampsia. Conclusions: The risk factors for preeclampsia in the jungle region are: to be 35 years of age or older, to live in rural areas, to have a primary or uneducated degree of education, to be nulliparous and to have performed only from zero to five prenatal controls. Have a rural residency is a major risk factor for preeclampsia in the Amazon region. Pregnant women in these areas are exposed to less participation in prenatal care due to a lack of knowledge associated with low levels of education that may generate fear before the controls.

In the present article, a proposal of psychological intervention is designed according to the methodology of the contingency analysis, from the interconductual approach, considering the clinical case of a thirteen - year - old adolescent who attends in the psychological care service in a hospital institution of Lima-Perú. The basic theoretical bases of the contingency model are presented and an intervention scheme is designed from the data of the case considering, the use of behavioral techniques adapted to this approach. This method is a validalternativefordiagnosis,evaluationand psychological intervention in the clinical setting.

Hyaline membrane disease is a common cause of respiratory distress syndrome in the preterm newborn. A careplanwascarriedoutthroughnursing interventionstoa31-weekprematureinfantwho entered the neonatal intensive care unit because of hyaline membrane disease. NANDAdomain titration was applied, with the following significant diagnoses “00032Ineffectiverespiratorypattern”,“00030 Impaired gas exchange”, “00107 Ineffective feeding patternoftheinfant”,“00132Acutepain”and “000126Poorknowledge”.Thus,nursing interventions were applied according to the taxonomy of nursing diagnoses, interventions and outcomes. Oxygentherapywasoneofthemainnursing interventions that were applied with the continuous positive pressure technique in the nasal airway. Anon-invasive way of covering the need for ventilation in the premature. As a result, FiO2 decreased from 30% to 25%, improving its respiratory pattern. The aspect of goodcommunicationbetweenthenurseandthe patient's mother was fundamental in order to reassure her tense state and increase her level of knowledge, thus finding emotional support within the hospital.
