Bu çalışmanın amacı, Highhouse vd. (2003) tarafından geliştirilen Örgütsel Çekicilik Ölçeğini (ÖÇÖ) Türkçe’ye kazandırmak ve geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizlerini yapmaktır. Ölçek, öncelikle araştırmacılar ve bir dil uzmanı tarafından Türkçe’ye çevrilmiş, ardından ifadeler iki dilli 15 uzmanın görüşüne başvurularak dil ve anlam uygunluğu bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. Öneriler doğrultusunda son şeklini alan Türkçe form iki aşamada uygulanmıştır. İlk aşamada, test-tekrar test güvenirliğini sınamak amacıyla ölçek iki hafta ara ile 50 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Test tekrar-test güvenirlik katsayısı birincil değerlendirme için 0,85, ikincil değerlendirme için 0,89 olarak bulunmuştur. Uygulamanın ikinci aşamasında anket 257 öğrenciye uygulanarak ölçeğin iç tutarlılık katsayısı 0,89 olarak bulunmuştur. Yapılan analizler sonucunda ÖÇÖ’nün özgün ölçekte olduğu gibi üç faktörlü bir yapı gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Hiçbir madde atılmadan 15 madde ile üç boyutu ölçen geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek elde edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to investigate the role of brand trust in the consumer-brand relationship for both global and national brands. The model developed for this goal is applied to two rival brands in the baby care products market in Turkey, one of which is global and the other is national. To test the research model, a structural equation modeling approach is followed. The study reveals that the effect of the brand trust on repurchasing intention is greater than its effect on relational commitment, and that this effect is observed particularly in the case of national brands.

Çalışmanın amacı Borsa İstanbul’da “psikolojik bariyer”in var olup olmadığının test edilmesidir. Psikolojik bariyer araştırması daha önce Borsa İstanbul için yapılmamış olması nedeniyle önemlidir. Çalışmada 03 Nisan 2003 ile 12 Nisan 2013 tarihleri arasındaki 2,523 günlük kapanış değeri incelenmiştir. Bu tarihler arasındaki borsa endeksi hep beş basamaklı olması nedeniyle seçilmiştir. Ki- Kare uyum testi ve regresyon analizleri sonucunda binler basamağında Borsa İstanbul için psikolojik bariyer olduğu bulunmuştur. Çalışmada veri kümesi döngüsel olarak simüle edilmiş olup sonuçlar yüzdesel olarak ilk sonuçlarla paralellik sergilemektedir.

This paper investigates the determinants of pre-paid and post-paid mobile phone subscriptions in Turkey. The binary logit analysis is employed to explore the relationship between the subscribers’ characteristics and their subscription type i.e. pre-paid or post-paid. The data used in the analysis relies on a survey carried out during 2009-Q3. The results indicate that there is a statistically significant relationship between the subscription type choice and the dependent variables. It is found that the choices of the other members living in the respondents’ household have significant effect on the decisions of the subscribers. The results also show that the subscribers who use their phones mainly for mobile calls and for surfing on internet are more likely to have a post-paid subscription while the pre-paid users usually use their phones for short messages and for playing games on their mobile phones.
