RESUMEN: Partiendo de una reconstrucción genealógica del giro decolonial del pensamiento latino americano, el artículo esboza una figura posible de la teologia descolonizadora latinoamericana como una nueva versión de la teología de la liberación. A partir de la distinción entre estudios subalternos latinoamericanos, estudios culturales latinoamericanos, poscolonialismo y estudios decoloniales, señala los aciertos y los riesgos que podría tener una teología que asuma sin mayor criticidad las propuestas epistémicas de estas corrientes actuales del pensamento latinoamericano. Se ejemplican los riesgos a partir de las discusiones sostenidas en el marco del Foro Mundial Teología y Liberación bajo el lema “teología para otro mundo posible”, para sugerir sucintamente cómo estos pueden ser superados tomando en cuenta algunas de las advertencias críticas del giro decolonial. ABSTRACT: From a genealogical reconstruction of the decolonial turn of Latin American thought, the article sketches a possible profile for a decolonializing theology of Latin America as a new version of liberation theology. Starting with the distinction between Latin American Subaltern Studies, Latin American cultural studies, postcolonialism and decolonial studies, it points to the successes and risks of a theology that naively makes its own the epistemic proposals of these current trends of Latin American thought. Examples of these risks are located in the discussions which take place within the framework of the Global Forum “Theology and Liberation” under the slogan “Theology for another possible world”, so as to suggest succinctly how they can be overcome by taking into account some of the critical warnings of the decolonial turn.

RESUMO: A Teologia da Libertação – TdL nasceu num contexto de opressão, buscando ser voz profética e produzindo ação transformadora, como resposta à indignação ética diante da opressão de milhões de latino-americanos. A TdL, a partir da renovação presente na Ação Católica Especializada e seus militantes (1950-1960), alimentada pelo Concílio Vaticano II (1962-1965) e a corajosa mudança iniciada por Medellín (1968), enfrentou o desafio de ser uma teologia “fonte”, recuperando a memória dos pais da Igreja, colhendo os frutos da renovação conduzida pela Nouvelle Théologie (1935-1960), e deixando de ser uma teologia “reflexo” (VAZ). Ganhou o mundo, com os novos sujeitos e os desafios da diversidade. E o espírito que esteve sempre presente na TdL foi e continua a ser de uma teologia que luta contra toda forma de opressão, de colonialismo, inclusive da própria teologia, vigilante sobre a libertação dela própria, como alertava Juan Luis Segundo (1978). Refletida já há algumas décadas, está cada vez mais em pauta a teoria decolonial. O que ela significa, qual sua genealogia e suas ideias? E que visão crítica ela traz para a reflexão teológica? Emergem também hoje as Teologias pós-coloniais. Que críticas elas fazem à TdL? Este artigo, a partir de pesquisa bibliográfica, objetiva refletir sobre o pensamento decolonial, sobre esse pensamento e a TdL, as críticas da Teologia Pós-colonial à TdL, as reações, implicações e perspectivas teológicas dessas concepções para a teologia latino-americana. ABSTRACT: Liberation Theology – LT was born in a context of oppression, with the goal of being a prophetic voice and producing transformative actions, as a response to the ethical indignation caused by the oppression of millions of Latin Americans. The LT, from the renovation present in the Specialized Catholic Action and its members (1950-1960), fed by the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) and the brave change initiated by Medellín (1968), faced the challenge of being a “source” theology, recovering the memory of the fathers of the Church, reaping the fruits of the renewal brought on by the Nouvelle Théologie (1935-1960), and ceasing to be a theology of “reflection” (VAZ). It gained the world, with new subjects and the challenges of diversity. And the spirit that has always been present in the LT was and always will be one of a theology that fights against all forms of oppression, of colonialism, including the one from theology itself, always watching its own liberation, as was warned by Juan Luis Segundo (1978). Having been thought of for a few decades already, the decolonial theory is currently more studied than ever. In this regard, the following questions arise: What does it mean? What their genealogies and ideas are about? What sort of criticism does it pose to theological reflection? Currently Postcolonial Theologies emerge. What criticism do they pose to Liberation Theology? From bibliographic research, this article aims to reflect on the decolonial thought, on the relationship between that thought and liberation theology, on the criticism of Postcolonial Theology to liberation theology, as well as the reactions, implications and theological perspectives of these concepts to the Latin American theology.

RESUMO: Neste artigo é examinada a questão da experiência religiosa no contexto da modernidade, considerada estruturalmente ateia em consequência da virada antropocêntrica que constitui a forma moderna de consciência. O objetivo fundamental do autor é mostrar uma possibilidade de se pensar a experiência religiosa autêntica para tal consciência moderna a partir de uma consideração compreensiva da espiritualidade ateia e de suas relações com a espiritualidade religiosa tradicional. Para isto ele considera a experiência religiosa na forma da experiência mística, apresentando-a em seus traços fundamentais, ressaltando as duas principais formas de mística imanentista. Em seguida explicita a dimensão mística presente no interior da tradição ateísta, indicando brevemente seus pressupostos ontológicos. A partir deste diálogo com a mística ateia o autor sustenta ser possível um horizonte ampliado para se pensar hoje a experiência autenticamente religiosa de forma compreensiva. ABSTRACT: This paper deals with the issue of religious experience in the context of modernity, which is envisaged as structurally atheistic due to the anthropocentric turn that defines the modern form of consciousness. The main goal of the author is to show a possibility of thinking the authentic religious experience for this modern consciousness through a comprehensive understanding of the atheistic spirituality and of its relations with traditional religious spirituality. He examines the religious experience in the particular form of mysticism, showing its essential features, and highlighting the two main forms of immanentistic mysticism. Afterwards he discloses the mystic dimension in the atheistic tradition, pointing briefly to its ontological presuppositions. This dialogue with the atheistic form of mysticism allows the author to claim that there is a possible horizon within which to think nowadays the truly religious experience in a comprehensive way.

RESUMO: As cartas são um dos instrumentos literários de comunicação muito utilizados pelo cristianismo primitivo, como meio de transmissão de conteúdo e orientação para comunidades e indivíduos. Esse instrumento é dotado de convenções estruturais e expressivas muito bem desenvolvidas no mundo antigo greco-judaico. Paulo de Tarso, situado nesse ambiente, apropria-se dessas convenções, adaptando-as às necessidades de cunho teológico e pastoral de suas comunidades. Esse artigo ocupa-se de apresentar os elementos estruturais da epistolografia clássica e suas aplicações nas cartas paulinas. Para, então, descrever e destacar os aspectos específicos da epistolografia paulina, por meio dos quais pode-se compreender melhor a evolução do pensamento e da teologia do Apóstolo. ABSTRACT: The letters are one of the literary communication tools widely used by early Christians to delivery content and guidance for communities and individuals. This instrument is equipped with structural and expressive conventions very well developed in the Greco-Jewish ancient world. Paul of Tarsus, situated in that environment, appropriates those conventions, adapting them to the theological and pastoral nature needs of his communities. This article is concerned to present the structural elements of classical epistolography and its applications in the Pauline letters. To then describe and highlighting the specific aspects of Pauline epistolography, through which one can better understand the evolution of thought and theology of the Apostle.
