It is proposed that potential consumers form attitudes based on advertising through sport can influence decisions to purchase a particular advertiser’s product. From this reason, it is important to analyse their general attitudes toward advertising through sport among various questions, and this investigation was aimed at gaining relevant knowledge about the attitudes of Serbian consumers toward advertising through sport among. The sample included 173 respondents, divided into six subsample groups: consumers, who do not watch sports events at all, then consumers who watch sports events 1-30 minutes, next 31-60 minutes, 61-90 minutes, 91-120 minutes, as well as consumers who watch sports events more than 120 minutes during the typical day. The sample of variables contained the system of three general attitudes which were modelled by seven-point Likert scale. The results of the measuring were analysed by multivariate analysis (MANOVA) and univariate analysis (ANOVA) and Post Hoc test. Based on the statistical analyses it was found that significant differences occur at multivariate level, as well as between two out of three variables at a significance level of p=.05. Hence, it is interesting to highlight that it was found there are significant differences showed up between the attitudes of consumers toward advertising through sport among the frequency of watching sports events. These results are so important for the marketers, mostly due to the reason they can’t merge all the potential consumers regarding the frequency they watch the sports events. On the other hand, this is the case in previous investigations and this observation presents relevant information.

Unlike other advertising mediums such as TV commercials or online advertising, people involuntarily receive sport advertisements; they prefer to watch the game for the sporting action than the regular advertisements. However, it is important to analyse their general attitudes among various questions, mostly due to the reason it varies from demographic group to demographic group. Hence, this research was aimed at gaining relevant knowledge about the attitudes of Serbian consumers toward advertising through sport among the question how often consumers purchase sporting goods. The sample included 173 respondents, divided into six subsample groups: consumers who do not purchase sport goods at all, then consumers who purchase sport goods less than ones a month, next 1–3 a month, 4–6 a month, 7–9 a month, as well as consumers who purchase sport goods more than 10 times a month. The sample of variables contained the system of three general attitudes which were modelled by seven-point Likert scale. The results of the measuring were analysed by multivariate analysis (MANOVA) and univariate analysis (ANOVA) and Post Hoc test. Based on the results it was concluded that significant differences occur at multivariate level, as well as between one of three variables at univariate level (p=.05). It is interesting to highlight that most of potential consumers (n=146) have recognized themselves in two categories: as consumers who purchase sport goods less than ones a month and one to three times a months, while there were no differences among the groups. If we take a look into previous investigations, it is interesting there are some opposite results, and the recommendations for further research are directed to spread out the sample a little bit more, mostly due to the reason the consumers who had a more negative attitudes were in the group that didn’t purchase the sport goods at all.

The main goal of the research was to make one meta-analyze of original scientific papers, mostly published in the Sport Mont Journal, who dealt with the identification of the level of quantitative changes in basic motor skills at cadet football players under the influence of the programmed training process in the six-week preparation period. The training program in all published papers contained forty four training units. The research was done on a sample of 120 players. Three tests were used for estimation of each basic motor ability. In the field of comparative statistics, for determining the differences in variables used to estimate basic motor abilities at the beginning (starting state) and at the end (final state) of the training program during the preparation period, a discriminating parametric procedure t-test was used for large dependent samples. Based on the numerical values of t-test, in all the aforementioned published papers, it was the concluded that statistically significant positive quantitative changes occurred in basic motor skills during the preparation period of cadet football players. Such a training program during the preparation period proved to be very effective in raising the level of basic motor skills in cadet football players. This meta-analyze shows that the obtained results can be focused on innovative plans and programs in the preparation period as well as on adapting the same to the needs of the appropriate population.

Assistant Professor, Stevo Popovic, Dean of the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education at University of Montenegro, gave one of the opening speeches, as well as Associate Professor Marko Stojanovic, invited speaker from Faculty of Sport and Physical Education at University of Novi Sad, as well as Mr. Dusan Simonovic, president of Montenegrin Olympic Committee, who officially opened the conference.
