Antalya ili ve ilçelerinde 2014-2015 yıllarında yürütülen bu çalışmada 28 serada 13 kesme çiçek türünde Insecta sınıfına ait 64 tür ve Arachnida sınıfına ait bir tür saptanmıştır. Elde edilen 16 türün kesme çiçeklerde ekonomik düzeyde zararlı, beş türün ise ana zararlı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Önem sırasına göre bu türler; Tetranychus urticae Koch, Frankliniella occidentalis Pergande, Bemisia tabaci Gennadius, Helicoverpa armigera Hübner ve Spodoptera littoralis Boisduval’dir. T. urticae ve F. occidentalis çalışma yapılan tüm ilçelerdeki kesme çiçek seralarında saptanmıştır. F. occidentalis dokuz, H. armigera yedi, T. urticae üç, B.tabaci iki ve S. littoralis iki farklı kesme çiçek türü üzerinde saptanmıştır.

Bu çalışmada, Dereköy Lavvar Tesisi (Soma, Manisa) tikiner girişinden alınan numune üzerinde anyonik (Akkim Akua 5220, Brentag Brentamer A 2030, Brentag Brentamer A 2530, Bifloc An 254, Minefloc Lot X 4119, 3F Sedifloc 750 AHM), katyonik (Snf 5980 Sl ve 3f Sedifloc 408 C) ve noniyonik (Snf Fa 920) flokülantlar kullanarak katıların çökelme davranışları incelenmiştir. Flokülasyon deneyleri altı pervaneli jar test cihazında yapılmıştır. Çökelme testlerinde flokülant tipi ve flokülant miktarının lavvar tesisi ince boyutlu artıkların flokülasyonu üzerine etkileri belirlenmiştir. Flokülasyon etkinliği ölçütü olarak çökelme hızı ve bulanıklık değerleri dikkate alınmıştır. Anyonik flokülantların özellikle düşük polimer konsantrasyonlarında daha etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Minefloc Lot X 4119 anyonik flokülant, çökelme hızı ve bulanıklık açısından diğer flokülantlara göre daha iyi bir flokülasyon performansı göstermiştir.

Yaşam sürdürme verilerinin analizinde kullanılan modellerin çoğunda tüm birey ya da birimlerin aynı başarısızlık riskine sahip olduğu varsayılmaktadır. Bireylerin bazılarının başarısızlık yapısı diğerlerinden daha farklı olabildiği için bu varsayım her zaman gerçekçi olmamaktadır. Bireylerin oluşturduğu yığında gözlenemeyen bir heterojenlik bulunmaktadır. Bu durum dikkate alınmadığı zaman ciddi sorunlara neden olabilmekte ve yanıltıcı sonuçlara yol açmaktadır. Yaşam sürdürme verisindeki gözlenemeyen heterojenliği tanımlamak üzere kırılganlık modelleri kullanılmaktadır. Genellikle kırılganlık faktörünün temel hazard fonksiyonu üzerinde çarpımsal bir rol oynadığı varsayılmaktadır. Kırılganlık modelleri koşullu modellerdir ve kırılganlık faktörü rastgele bir yapıya sahip olmaktadır. Bu nedenle kırılganlık modellerinde kırılganlık dağılımının belirlenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada orantılı hazard varsayımı altında gamma kırılganlık modeli dikkate alınmış ve gerçek veri setine uygulanmıştır.

Çalışma alanı GB-Türkiye’de Isparta Açısı olarak bilinen bir coğrafik yapının batı bölgesindeki Kışla Köyü ile Yazır Köyü (Isparta – Burdur) arasında yer almak­tadır. Sahada otokton ve allokton birimler gözlenir. Kretase – Jura yaşlı, Beydağları kireçtaşları ile Akitaniyen yaşlı Yazır kireçtaşları ve Burdigaliyen yaşlı Ağlasun Formasyonu bölgenin en önemli otokton kaya birimlerini oluşturur. Bunların tümü, yörede Pliyo-Kuvaterner yaşlı Gölcük volkanitleri ve Kuvaterner yaşlı güncel sedimanlar tarafından üzerlenmektedir. Çalışma bölgesinde yer alan allokton bi­rimler, Antalya naplarına ait Isparta Çay Formasyonu ile bunlara eşlik eden ofiyolitik kayalardan oluşur. Yörede Ağlasun Formasyonunun üzerine bindirmeli bir dokanak ile gelen, Eosen yaşlı Isparta Filişi (Kayiköy Formasyonu), çalışma bölgesinin diğer önemli allokton birimini oluşturur.İnceleme alanında yer alan bu birimlerin yayılımları ve birbirleri ile olan dokanak özellikleri incelenerek bölgenin yer altı jeolojik yapısı ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Çalışma alanında geniş yayılım gösteren ve organik maddece zengin özellik sunan Yazır ve Ağlasun Formasyonları bölgenin en önemli petrol anakayası niteliğindeki kaya birimleridir. Diğer taraftan resifal özellikteki Yazır Kireçtaşları içerdiği yaygın gözenekli yapısı ile yörenin en önemli hazne kaya özelliğine sahip birimini oluşturur.Örnekler üzerinde yapılan petrografik incelemeler sonucunda, Yazır kireçtaşlarının daha çok bağlamtaşı ve istiftaşı özelliğine sahip oldukları saptanmıştır. Benzer şekilde, Beydağları kireçtaşları vaketaşı ve çamurtaşı olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Ağlasun Formasyonu içindeki kumtaşları büyük bölümü ile feldispatik litarenit ve litarenitten oluşmaktadır.Bölgede hazne kaya özelliği gösteren Yazır kireçtaşları ortalama olarak % 10 ile % 16.4 mertebesinde gözeneklilik içerir. Bu kireçtaşındaki gözeneklerin büyük bölümü sekonder kökenli olup daha çok, çatlak ve kovuk (vuggy) porozite yaygındır.

Bu çalışmada, Muğla yöresindeki, kızılçam (Pinus brutia Ten.) ormanlarında uygulanan bakım ve odun hammaddesi üretimi sonucu ortaya çıkan odunsu atıklardan odun peleti yapılarak yakıt özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu kapsamda, Muğla ormanlarından tedarik edilen biyokütleler, öğütülerek 0.5 mm’lik partikül boyutuna getirilmiştir. Açık havada rutubeti % 10’nun altında olacak şekilde kurutulan materyal, pelet presinde odun peleti haline getirilmiştir. Odun peletlerinin, ısıl değerleri, özkütlesi, karbon (C), hidrojen (H), oksijen (O) ve azot (N) içeriği ve kül bırakma yüzdeleri belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, odun peletlerinin özkütlesi, ısıl değeri ve kül bırakma yüzdesi sırasıyla 0.671 gr/cm3, 22.17 MJ/g ve % 4,91 olarak bulunmuştur. C, H, O, N miktarları ise sırasıyla % 47.52, % 5.15, % 42.16 ve % 0,26 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Kızılçam orman hasat artıklarından yapılan odun peleti Avrupa Pelet Standardına göre EN-B kategorisinde yer almıştır.

Bu çalışmanın amacı Gökçebağ (Burdur) ve Yakaören (Isparta) köyleri arasındaki bölgede yer alan Geç Tersiyer yaşlı denizel kırıntılıların biyostratigrafik çözümlenmesidir. Çalışma konusunu oluşturan denizel tortul kayaçların biyostragrafik çözümlemesinde, eş yaşlı ve taşınmış olarak kökensel ayrımlanmış 93 adet nanoplankton türü tanımlanmış ve kayıtlara dayanarak Isparta Formasyonu’na ait Discoaster saipanensis NP17; Güneyce Formasyonu’na ait Triquetrorhabdulus caritanus NN1, Discoaster druggii NN2, Sphenolithus belemnos NN3 olmak üzere 4 aşmalı menzil zonu belirlenmiştir.

Bu çalışma orman yetişme ortamlarında alfa tür çeşitliliğinin hesaplanması üzerine gerçekleştirilmiştir. Alfa tür çeşitliliği bir yöredeki biyolojik çeşitliliği ifade eden önemli bir bileşendir. Alfa tür çeşitliliğinin belirlenmesi ile bir yörenin bitki türleri için potansiyel yayılış alanlarını tespit etmek açısından değerli bilgiler elde edilebilmektedir. Çalışmamızda Burdur-Altınyayla yöresinden alınan 40 örnek alandaki bitki türlerinden yararlanarak alfa tür çeşitlilikleri hesaplanmıştır. Daha sonra alfa tür çeşitliliği ile çevresel değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler korelasyon analizleri ile ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Buradaki en dikkat çeken sonuç yükselti ile alfa çeşitliliği arasında pozitif yönde bir ilişkinin bulunmasıdır. Ayrıca çalışmada vejetasyon verileri ile çevresel değişkenler Eğrisel Uyum Analizi (DCA) ile incelenmiş, yükselti ve bakı ile pozitif yönde ilişkiler tespit edilirken yüzey taşlılığı ile bitki türleri arasında negatif bir ilişkinin olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Çalışmada; Lamiaceae familyasındaki Marrubium L. cinsinin iki taksonu olan Marrubium lutescens Boiss. ve M. cephalanthum Boiss. & Noë subsp. akdaghicum’ da gövde ve yaprak, anatomik olarak incelenerek cinsin taksonomik problemlerinin çözümüne katkı amaçlanmıştır. Işık mikroskobu için iki tip preperasyon yapılmıştır. Parafin içerisindeki gövde ve yaprak örnekleri Safranin-Fast Green ile boyandıktan sonra, epon içerisindeki yarı ince kesitler ise Toluidine blue ile boyandıktan sonra ışık mikroskobunda incelenerek fotoğrafları çekilmiştir. Her iki taksonda gövde; köşeli, kalın kutikulalı, tek sıralı epidermis ile çevrilidir. Köşelerde, epidermisin altında 2-3 sıralı lamellar kollenkima bulunmaktadır. Yaprak; M. lutescens' te bifasiyal iken M. cephalanthum’ da unifasiyaldir. Küçük iletim demetleri kollateraldir ve yaprak amfistomatiktir. Gövdelerde ve yaprakların alt ve üst yüzeyinde örtü ve salgı tüyleri bulunmaktadır. Anatomik sonuçlar karşılaştırıldığında, iki taksonun birbirine yakın oldukları anlaşılmıştır.

Yapılan bu çalışmada, sınıflandırma problemleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu çalışma farklı yapıda olan 3 adet veri kümesinin (Tohum, Arazi Uydu Görüntüleme ve Kırmızı Şarap Kalite Değerlendirme) incelenmesi ve aynı algoritmaların bu verilere uygulanması itibariyle hem başarı performansı olarak hem de zaman bakımından aralarındaki ilişkiyi gözler önüne sermektedir. Tohum verisi için yapılan karşılaştırmada Uyarlamalı ağ tabanlı bulanık çıkarım sistemi (Adaptive-Network Based Fuzzy Inference Systems-ANFIS) ile Basamak Korelasyon Sinir Ağı BKSA (Cascade Correlation Neural Network-CCNN) test performans yüzdeleri %86.41 ve %88.06 olup, işlem zamanı yönünden bakıldığında ise BKSA 0.59 saniye gibi kısa bir süre içerisinde sınıflandırma yapmıştır. Arazi Uydu Görüntüleme veri kümesinde ise test performans yüzdeleri ANFIS de %100, BKSA da ise %99.92 olmaktadır. Verinin algoritma içerisinde yaptığı işlem süreleri ise ANFIS 800 saniye, BKSA 72 saniyede tüm sınıflandırma işlemini tamamlamıştır. Son veri kümemiz ise Kırmızı Şarap Kalite değerlendirmedir ve test performans olarak bakıldığında ANFIS %99.975, BKSA ise %99.862 gibi birbirleri arasında çokta anlamlı bir fark oluşturmadığı açıkça görünmektedir. İşlem zamanı bakımından ANFIS 85.271 saniye ile BKSA metoduna göre çok hantal kalmaktadır.

Çalışmada t testi ve dengesiz iki grup olduğunda toplanmış varyans yerine gözlem sayısı büyük olan grup varyansı kullanılarak hesaplanan t testi I.tip hata ve testin gücü bakımından karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışmada farklı gözlem adetleri kombinasyonlarındaki gruplar, varyans büyüklükleri bakımından çeşitli ikişerli grupların oluşturulmasında kullanılmıştır. Z, t(10), kikare(3) dağılımlarından tamamen tesadüfen çekilen tesadüf sayılarından yararlanılmıştır. Her bir I. tip hata ve testin gücü değeri 100000 simülasyon denemesi sonucunda elde edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak dağılımın şekli normal olduğunda I. Tip hata bakımından her iki testte benzer sonuçlar vermiştir. Her iki test de I. Tip hatayı % 5 seviyesinde korumuştur. Ancak dağılım şekli değiştiğinde özellikle eğri olduğunda kikare(3) gözlem adedi büyük grup varyansının toplanmış varyansa tercih edildiği yöntem de I. tip hataların % 5 seviyesini koruyamayıp bir miktar yüksek değerler almıştır. Testin gücü bakımından ise gözlem adedi büyük olan grup varyansının toplanmış varyansa tercih edildiği yöntem her durumda daha yüksek güç değeri almıştır.

In this study, the photovoltaic device application of bromothymol blue (BTB) as an organic interlayer has been reported. After Al back contact fabrication on the surface of the chemically cleaned substrate by thermal evaporation method, the organic interlayer has been grown on p-Si substrate via spin coating technique. Al top contacts have been formed on this organic thin film to finalize the device constructions. The different illumination intensities were exposed to the prepared sample for the enhancement in the photovoltaic properties of device. The fundamental photovoltaic parameters such as open circuit voltage (Voc), short circuit current (Isc) and output power (P) were determined for the device under different illuminations. The photocurrent and the photo voltage have been increased with the increasing in illumination intensity. The dependence of the capacitance on the voltage at high and low frequency has been also reported for the studied device. Consequently, it has been confirmed that the illumination intensity has an important influence on the photovoltaic parameters of the device.

The main concerns of this paper is the study and the development of numerical methods for solving fractional order autocatalytic chemical reaction model problem. This is a nonlinear fractional order differential equation of fractional order , where . Three different (explicit and implicit) schemes based on multistep methods, nonstandard finite difference method and the product integration (PI) method are developed. The PI scheme enjoys the integral equation formulation of the model problem. The accuracy, efficiency and comparison of the developed methods are demonstrated in numerical results.

The link between analytical and logical thinking skills and success of software practitioners attracted an increasing attention in the last decade. Several studies report that the ability to think logically is a requirement for improving software development skills, which exhibits a strong reasoning. Additionally, analytical thinking is a vital part of software development for example while dividing a task into elemental parts with respect to basic rules and principles. Using the basic essence of gamification, this study proposes a mobile testing platform for assessing analytical and logical thinking skills of software practitioners as well as computer engineering students. The assessment questions were taken from the literature and transformed into a gamified tool based on the software requirements. A focus group study was conducted to capture the requirements. Using the Delphi method, these requirements were discussed by a group of experts to reach a multidisciplinary understanding where a level of moderate agreement has been achieved. In light of these, an assessment tool was developed, which was tested on both software practitioners from the industry and senior computer engineering students. Our results suggest that individuals who exhibit skills in analytical and logical thinking are also more inclined to be successful in software development.

The effect of different demineralization process on CO2 gasification of cokes obtained from Karaman / Ermenek lignite at different temperatures was investigated in this study. 10% and 20% hydrochloric acid (HCl), nitric acid (HNO3) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4) solutions were used in the demineralization process. The demineralized lignite samples were subjected to coking process at the temperatures ranging between 500°C-800°C, and the reaction capabilities of the obtained cokes in the gasification reaction with CO2 at the temperatures ranging between 900°C–975°C were determined. The reaction capabilities of the demineralized lignite samples during CO2 gasification were observed to be lower than those of the samples untreated with acid. In addition, it was observed that the reaction capabilities of cokes increased with increasing of coking temperature.

In the present study determined the side effects of four acaricides of acequinocyl, etoxazole, bifenazate and milbemectin on the predator mites Phytoseiulus persimilis Athias-Henriot and Neoseiulus californicus McGregor. Acaricide concentrations were prepared as a two times the field application dose (2T), field application dose (T), and half of the field application dose (T/2) and were then applied on eggs, nymphs and adults of the P. persimilis and N. californicus. The side effects of the acaricidesapplied to the predator mites were determined three, five and seven days afterthe application. While all doses of acequinocyl and etoxazole showed a higher toxic effect on N.californicus eggs, it was found that bifenazate and milbemectin caused similar effects on both predator mite eggs. Furthermore, it was found that the toxic effects of acequinocyl, etoxazole, bifenazate and milbemectin on nymphs and adults of the predator miteswere high seventh day after the application. The results of the study showed that four acaracides frequently used against to pest mites, should be used more carefully in the agricultural areas.

Hand grip strength is broadly used for performing tasks involving equipment in production and processing activities. Most professionals in this field rely on grip strength to perform their tasks. There were three main aims of this study: i) determining various hand grip strength measurements for the group of hand tool users, ii) investigating the effects of height, weight, age, hand dominance, body mass index, previous Cumulative Trauma Disorder (CTD) diagnosis, and hand tool usage experience on hand grip strength, and iii) comparing the obtained results with existing data for other populations. The study groups comprised 71 healthy male facility workers. The values of subjects’ ages was observed between 26 and 74 years. The data were statistically analyzed to assess the normality of data and the percentile values of grip strength. The results of this study demonstrate that there were no significance differences noted between dominant and non-dominant hands. However, there were highly significant differences between the CTD group and the other group. Hand grip strength for the dominant hand was positively correlated to height, weight, and body mass index, and negatively correlated to age and tool usage experience. Hand dominance, height, weight, body mass index, age and tool usage experience should be considered when establishing normal values for grip strength.

3D printed calcium sulfate (CS) is a promising material for on custom bone substitutes. Since it dissolves easily in body fluids, manufactured samples require to being improved to reduce solubility. The main aim of this study was reducing the dissolubility of CS based samples by using sintering and investigating the effect of heat treatment on their physical, chemical and structural properties. To observe the effect of heat treatment on samples, contact angles were measured, X-Ray diffraction analysis (XRD) was performed, and scanning electron microscope (SEM) micrographs were captured before and after the sintering process, and the results were compared. Furthermore, sintered and non-sintered samples were soaked in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) to observe the impact of sintering on the solubility of the material. Also, three different pore sized scaffolds were manufactured to test the limits of the 3D printer for manufacturing of scaffolds with open pores. Sintering process results in a volume reduction and according to SEM results, CS grains were fused together after heat treatment. Although non-sintered CS sample starts to dissolve in high rate and nearly 1/3 of the sample was at the bottom of the glass in a matter of minutes, sintering creates more rigid structure and there were not visible dissolution in PBS at the end of a week. The contact angle of samples cannot be measured, so it can be concluded that 3D printed material showed a super-hydrophilic property. XRD diagram suggested that there is not any new phase created in the printing and sintering processes except related hydrates of CS. As a result of the 3D printing, 500 µm, 750 µm and 1000 µm pore sized scaffolds were manufactured, successfully. However, it was seen that 500 µm pores could not be open by using depowdering after the printing process.

It is known that there exist canonical and nearly parallel $G_2$ structures on 7-dimensional 3-Sasakian manifolds. In this paper, we investigate the existence of $G_2$ structures which are neither canonical nor nearly parallel. We obtain eight new $G_2$ structures on 7-dimensional 3-Sasakian manifolds which are of general type according to the classification of $G_2$ structures by Fernandez and Gray. Then by deforming the metric determined by the $G_2$ structure, we give integrable $G_2$ structures. On a manifold with integrable $G_2$ structure, there exists a uniquely determined metric covariant derivative with anti-symetric torsion. We write torsion tensors corresponding to metric covariant derivatives with skew-symmetric torsion. In addition, we investigate some properties of torsion tensors.

In this paper, damped spring-mass systems with generalized piecewise constant argument and with functional dependence on generalized piecewise constant argument are considered. These spring-mass systems have piecewise constant forces of the forms $Ax(\gamma(t))$ and $Ax(\gamma(t))+h(t,x_{t},x_{\gamma(t)})$, respectively. These spring-mass systems are examined without reducing them into discrete equations. While doing this examination, we make use of the results which have been obtained for differential equations with functional dependence on generalized piecewise constant argument in \cite{2}. Sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the spring-mass system with functional dependence on generalized piecewise constant argument are given. The periodic solution of the spring-mass system which has functional force is created with the help of the Green's function, and its uniqueness is proved. The obtained theoretical results are illustrated by an example. This illustration shows that the damped spring-mass systems with functional dependence on generalized piecewise constant argument with proper parameters has a unique periodic solution which can be expressed by Green's function.

Here, a novel enzymatic biosensor was developed using multiwalled carbon nanotube including screen printed electrodes (MWCNT-SPE). Pyranose oxidase (PyOx) was immobilized on the electrode surface by way of gelatin membrane and then cross-linked using glutaraldehyde. Glucose was detected at -0.7 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) by watching consumed oxygen in enzymatic reaction after addition substrate. After optimization of pH and enzyme loading, the linearity was found in the range of 0.1–1.0 mM of glucose. After that, the effect of MCNT on the current was tested. Also the enzymatic biosensor including glucose oxidase instead of pyranose oxidase was prepared and the biosensor response followed for glucose. Furthermore, this system was tested for glucose analysis in soft drinks.
