Effect of non-work related Internet usage on stimulating employee organizational creativity

Creativity in organizational success has no alternatives in future and according to Internet which is an integral part of any organization and usage of the organizational Internet resources for non-work purpose by employee is current; This study intends to use stimulating creativity factors that has been extracted from earlier research for investigate organizational creativity through non- work related Internet usage by using factors. Target population are automotive manufacturer employees in their central offices and potential stimulating creativity factors are: intrinsic motivation, independent thinking, information accessibility, curiosity and exploration, break down technical barriers and collaboration. Data gathering is done by questionnaire and answers are designed by Likert Scale. Sampling technique are cluster and random together. Statistical Software SPSS 22.0 is used for Pearson correlation and investigate hypothesis. The method is library and field study. Findings are shown these defined independent variables have positive and meaningful relationship to creativity but intrinsic motivation and information accessibility have positive and reverse; curiosity and exploration and independent thinking have positive and straight relationship through non-work related Internet usage.

Qualitative Analysis of Routing Protocols in WSN

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is partially distributed autonomous sensors to monitor physical or environmental conditions such as temperature, pressure etc. and to cooperatively pass their data through the network to the central location. The technique referred to as multi-hop wireless communications is used by the WSN’s to communicate. Due to the limited processing power and the finite power accessible to each sensor nodes, the application of regular routing techniques is not recommended. Hence recent advances in wireless sensor networks have made the routing protocols more efficient. This paper surveys and compares the advanced routing protocols. The three main categories discussed here are flat based, hierarchical based and location based. The paper concludes with open research issues.

Image Cryptography using Nearest Prime Pixels

Protecting the data in a safe and secure way which does not impede the access of an authorized authority is an immensely difficult and very interesting research problem. image cryptography is a special type of encryption technique to obscure image-based secret information which can be decrypted by Human Visual System. Communication is the process of transmitting information from source to destination. The exchanging information should not be stolen by unauthorized parties like hackers while sending or receiving via channel. To avoid this stealing of the information visual cryptography techniques are used. This paper proposes a novel method for key generation by using nearest prime pixels. Further 2’s complement and logical operations are performed to generate decrypted image. The final decrypted image is generated by representing pixels in matrix form and data is retrieved in column wise.

Evaluation of Digital Data Effect on Computer Based Idea Generation

Organizations and businesses that do their best over long term are those who are the most creative and innovative. In order to achieve this, in today’s business world, organizational creativity and employees idea generation became one of the most important and essential elements for success and survival. At the same time, the world is faced with a phenomenon known as digital data that may appear in various forms. Most employees in the business world use digital data on their organizational computer systems and these digital data always affect them. This study intends to investigate the relation between digital data and computer-based idea generation. Target population is Iranian computer users that work with organizational computer systems. The sample used in this empirical study includes 1270 Iranian organizational computer users. Data gathering is done by questionnaire and answers were designed with Likert Scale. The sampling technique is cluster and random together, the statistical Software SPSS 23.0 is used for Pearson correlation and investigate hypothesis, and finally the method used was library and field study. The findings show that textual, audio and visual digital data have a positive and meaningful relationship with employees’ computer-based creative idea generation. The contribution of this paper is suggesting that certain digital data parameters are important to drive the creativity. The results presented in this paper can be useful for the competitive advantage of organizations and their survival in today’s dynamic and complex business environment.

Link Reliable Joint Path and Spectrum Diversity in Cognitive Radio Ad-Hoc Networks

Due to the uncertainty in the available spectral resource, there is a need of inimitable challenges in cognitive radio networks. The most common decisive issue is that the performance degradation in cognitive radio ad-hoc networks (CRAHNs) experienced by cognitive users (CUs) due to the variation in the activity of primary users (PUs) in both frequency and space domain, diversity techniques can be represented an efficient way to address this issue. In this paper, we propose a link reliable joint path and spectrum diversity technique by modifying D2CARP with link quality metric such as CETX instead of hop count for effective use of spectrum in CRAHNs, is referred to as Link Reliable Dual Diversity Cognitive Ad-hoc Routing Protocol (LR-D2CARP). Make use of both link reliable path and spectrum diversities, CUs can switch dynamically to different link reliable paths as well as spectrum bands for communicating with each other in the presence of frequency- and space-varying PU activity. The simulation results reveal the effectiveness of our protocol in CRAHNs.
