Türkolog ve Moğol dilbilimci A. Şçerbak, beş bölümden oluşan makalesinde TürkMoğol dil ilişkilerinin tabiatını açıklamak için Türk ile Moğol dillerinde ortak olan fiilleri incelemiştir. Makalenin ilk bölümünde makalenin amacı ve hangi sorulara cevap vermeye çalışılacağına dair bilgi bulunmaktadır. Sonra ise Türk-Moğol dil ilişkilerinin tarihi ile ilgili bilgi ve dil ilişkilerinin genel arakteristiği hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde üç gruba ayrılan Türk ve Moğol dillerinde ortak fiiller incelenmektedir. Dördüncü bölümde sonuç yer almakta ve Türk ve Moğol dillerinin benzerliğinin dil temasları temelinde oluştuğu öne sürülmektedir. Son bölümde ise incelemenin genel değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. - Turkologist and Mongolist A. Sherbak searched common verbs in both Turkic and Mongolian languages to shed light on the nature of relations between them in his article consisting of five parts. In the first part the aim of writing this article was explained and information about which questions will be tried to answer was also given. Then in the second part the history and the character of the relations between Turkic and Mongolian languages were introduced. In the third part, common verbs in Turkic and Mongolian languages which have been divided into three groups have been studied. In the fourth part the conclusion takes place and it is claimed that the similarity between Turkic and Mongolian languages was formed on the basis of linguistic contacts. And in the last part of the article a general evaluation of the study was given.

Peace-building is longer-term mission to secure peace by dealing with the origin causes of a potential or past conflict. The peace will last only if corresponding, long-term action is taken to eliminate the basis of the onflict. Peace-building is especially important and difficult for the United Nations is that such conflicts the root causes are internal issues. Peace-building operations are complex and difficult. Peace-building process should include: establishment and maintenance of law and order, providing humanitarian assistance such as repatriation and reintegration of refugees and internally displaced persons, performance of basic civil administrative functions, development of local democratic political institutions, and the building of infrastructure and civil society, and economic reconstruction and development.

Bu makale, Soğuk Savaş sonrası döneme damgasını vuran etnik çatışmalarda Birleşmiş Milletler (BM) barış güçlerin etkinliğini tartışmayı amaçlamakta, söz konusu güçleri güçlü ve zayıf yönleri itibariyle değerlendirmektedir. Bu bağlamda, etnik çatışmaların önlenmesi ve çözümlenmesi sürecinde BM barış güçlerinin sağladığı yararlara değinilmekte, ancak bu güçlerin karşılaştıkları ciddi sorunlar da ayrıntılı bir biçimde irdelenmektedir. Değerlendirmeler ışığında çalışma, BM barış güçlerinin etnik uyuşmazlık çözümünde daha etkin bir araç haline gelebilmeleri için mevcut sorunlarının ivedi olarak aşılması gereğine dikkat çekmektedir.
