Dental caries and periodontal disease have historically been considered the most important global oral health burdens. More recent epidemiological data seem to show an increasing trend of tooth loss due to periodontal reasons rather than caries; the presence of initial attachment loss, bone height and the habit of smoking significantly increase the risk of tooth mortality. A dental implant is a titanium screw which isplaced into bone to replace missing teeth. The implant mimics the root of a tooth in function. A key advance in dentistry has been the flourishing replacement of lost natural teeth by osseointegrated implants and the current and future application of implants to support intra-and extra-oral prostheses is a great implication in restoring dental health

Meet the mind of the patient before meeting the mouth of the patient, hence we understand that the patient attitudes and opinions can influence the outcome of the treatment. Obviously, not the least important factor in the diagnosis of patients needing complete denture service is their mental attitude. This is not a mechanical problem or a biologic problem. It is one that requires an understanding of people and the ways in which they must react to the situations they face. Doctor, with their background education in psychology, can learn to detect patient attitudes and reactions that mutual confidence, which is essential, can be established. In this process doctors must establish within themselves empathy for the patient. If they are unable to do so, the results of any treatment they prescribe are most likely to be less than successful. Doctors must have a sense of real concern for the health, comfort, and welfare of their patients to establish the necessary mutual confidence. Clinical experience has proved the merits of a “tender loving care” approach to dental patients. This should be done before treatment is started and continued throughout the treatment planning and the treatment itself.

Pyogenic granuloma is a moderately frequent mucocutaneous lesion seen in the oral cavity, as a response to some underlying irritating factor. Clinically oral pyogenic granuloma is seen as a smooth exophytic lesion with usually haemorrhagic base. This article presents a case of pyogenic granuloma treated by surgical intervention.

Ankyloglossia, commonly known as tongue tie, is a congenital oral anomaly which may decrease the mobility of the tongue tip.The different surgical techniques for treatment of this condition arefrenotomy,frenectomy andfrenuloplasty done with scalpels, electrocautery or Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation,commonly known as „LASERS‟.There is no sufficient evidence in the literature concerning surgical treatment options for ankyloglossia to favor any one of the three main techniques. Presented here is a case report of a 26-year-old male patient with tongue-tie who reported with the chief complaint of speech difficulty and was treated with frenectomy carried outwithLASER under local anesthesia without any post treatment complications
