Adolescents have a wide range of difficulties in their development process, evolution and adaptation; bullying is a social phenomenon which affects and outlines a clear problem that can be found in any school environment, therefore, it cannot be disregarded. The aim of this paper is to analyze various social factors involved in bullying, but at the same time, to identify suicidal thoughts in students who have been victims of aggression at school. To accomplish such objective, various evaluation techniques which include semi-structured interviews and The Scale for Suicide Ideation, were used; they helped establish the approximate estimated percentage scale of suicidal behavior or attempts in private secondary schools in the cities of Guadalupe and Zacatecas. In the sample studied group, little family support on this issue was detected, high levels of anxiety and suicidal thoughts in adolescents was reported.

This paper shows that through philosophy for children, an education which is different from the one offered daily can be taught. With this type of education, children and young people alike can participate actively in the program while they build their own tools to live together; that is to say, they create spaces necessary for the formation of a new citizen: lecture, dialogue and communication. Furthermore, the work also presents the implementation of the project at “Escuela Normal Superior del Distrito” in Barranquilla, considering it as a training center in the making of an archetype of teachers.

This essay broach about a teachers’ qualification process that is linked to an Institutional Program, which happens at the Paraná Federal University and at others State Universities that have a partnership with the State Education Secretariat. Its objective is to question how the basic school teachers evaluate their continued formative education dislocated of their contexts. This is made by analyzing data from an evaluation instrument applied to the teachers participants that emphasizes criterions to evaluate the courses received by them in this formation, indicating the image of a professional collective. The influence between a medium and the other, university and school, is reflected, when these teachers try to differentiate themselves, individualize themselves by the study and the research of their own practice. The theorization utilizes the Deleuze’s perspective of the difference, dialoging with others authors, in the effort to make explicit at this teachers’ qualification, a practice institutionalized at school that clamor for new meanings.

This paper is a review of the Computerized Adaptive Testing Process. Unlike conventional tests, these assessments propose a test adapted to every examinee’s needs and capabilities, which results in a better experience for those assessed and a more accurate score. Adaptive assessments are based on item response theory, which defines the guidelines and conditions for such tests to be carried out. From this theory, different models that allow the repositioning of different traits of the examinees and their relationship with the probability to succeed in a given item, arise. To complete the assessment process, an adaptive test should consist of a set of items, a method which allows the selection of these and a termination criterion. All the aforementioned components articulate the test and help to properly materialize it.

This research presents a descriptive-explaining study about the impact of the implementation of a virtual learning object in the acquisition of basic knowledge about Wi-Fi wireless networks, carried out with eleventh grade students of an educational institution. The research adopts a quantitative method, contemplating a quasi-experimental, ex post facto, transactional design. A questionnaire was administrated to the students in a first moment to measure their basic knowledge on Wi-Fi, and the again after the implementation to analyze the changes. The quantitative data obtained from the application of the proposed instrument, were treated from a descriptive and correlation analysis. The conclusions presented the positive impact of the implementation of the virtual learning object in acquiring basic knowledge about Wi-Fi wireless networks, raising the need to control extraneous variables in the study.
