A qualitative, interpretive, and phenomenology study was conducted making possi- ble to reveal the significance of human condition as the essence in Nursing profes- sionals training given by teachers and students. The sample was intentional or se- lective and a descriptive matrix was used for the analysis and interpretation of data. The institution taken as object of study, showed a curriculum process that conditions the teaching work to achieve goals and to influence students and teachers attitudinal characteristics, in like manner, the absence of human value in the pedagogical act in Nursing program.

Forced in Colombia, displacement is a complex problem and algid in our reality, which involves various stakeholders and has serious implications for both commu- nities and individuals. It was therefore decided to address this issue as a case study, investigating specifically in educational and cultural characteristics as dimensions that demonstrate the impact of this phenomenon in order to shift families. Against this social backdrop, the Norte de Santander department has become a receiver sce- nario displaced population, however, at the beginning of the investigation had been conducted few studies about it, and often without sufficiently involved know the realities of these families, and the way of life of the displaced population and the Pastor of Bethlehem the city of Cucuta, Colombia neighborhoods. The object of study focuses on how the forced displacement transgresses in education and cul- ture in families and children. The study is approached from ethnography, allowing us to contextualize the phenomenon, addressing a theoretical foundation from an anthropological perspective and a shortcut to the subject study population approach: parents, children, subjects of displacement.

An approach on analyzing some key concepts of feminism theory, such as: gender, sex and sexuality which involves a committed thought with the compromised, embodied and located research we show in this paper. We will analyze the possibilities of looking for female oral and body languages in order to fi nd the materiality of the body/speech in relation with subject/subject in research. We emphasize that these expressions (oral and body languages) are lived as a resistance and are constructed. That is why they demand freedom. The female’s body and speech are independent and are expressed with their own strategies and space of freedom which is able to be researched.

This paper shows the results of a qualitative research entitled: Hookers and Trans Women: Narratives about trans women in Spain. This study was developed in 2010 and it is based on presence of trans women in the academic texts of prostitution in Spain produced between 2000 and 2009. The content analysis of thirty four narratives showed that the references to in transsexual women in these texts were few, although they have more presence into prostitution, in relation to the biological women. Only nine texts show an experience of prostitution and among these, transexperience only is described assertively when transsexual women write the texts themselves.

The paper discuss one of the fronts of my doctoral research which purpose is to analyze subjective processes in a male community providing from digital media. An analysis will be made of the Cabana community from site Papo de Homem, a closed male group that promotes online interactions and presencial meetings, which intention is to help men in many parts of Brazil to advance in certain areas of life. Through fi eld notes and interviews with users, I intend to demonstrate how Cabana is a legitimate space to share feelings between men and to launch lights over the sociability’s settings built on these platforms articulated with markers of gender, class and sexuality

The journalism, which is in charge of offi cial sources in Mexico, is characterized because of the production of the hegemonic discourse of the governmental institutions. The lack of a critical point of view related to this information, together with commercial activities of the communications industry causes the individuals’ right to obtain information to be limited. Researching human and gender rights requires the guild to work in favor of the citizens and help to exercise the freedom to criticize those in power and to access the effectiveness of governmental institutions. This is a proposal for the use of accountability as a research tool on femicide in Juarez, Chihuahua.

This study was to analyze the Coexistence and feminist critical discourses in Latin America. An analysis by the academic production in Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica is a work that seeks to investigate and distinguish the implicated speeches in the philosophical production around the identity of gender category, as well as the theoretical references which disclaim the current debates about the analysis of such category. This work is part of the academic, philosophical and political speech and their revision of the identity category in the social theory from the references of the feminist theory. These debates are contrasted with a study performed on three educational interviews in order to determine the speech of educational philosophy present in three countries of Latin America: Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico.

This research focuses on one of the fi nest works of feminist thought, The second sex. Facts and myths (Vol. I), as well as some of its key assumptions and inputs to the contemporary. The tour begins from conception of otherness, the critique to the biology, psychoanalysis, materialism and the historical evolution of women up to the connection with the present century. Its pages question, reveal, denounce, with exquisite skill, the role assigned to the women in society, and thus, the infl uence of cultural values in the “construction” of the feminine. Their influence enabled a quantum leap in the analysis, insight and perspective in the study and understanding of female ethics and politics, as well as its path to liberation.

This paper presents the theoretical analysis of qualitative data collected through interviews with Bolivian women living their migration experience in Huelva, Spain. The paper has as main objectives on the one hand, to give voice to the main protagonists, knowing through his own speech perceptions about issues such as: the host society, family, power relations, social and economic remittances building new identities from a gender perspective. On the other hand, it is also important to identify changes that can be generated from their migration experience. These are both individual and collective shifts because they may infl uence the process of social and cultural claim of Bolivian women, both in the host as the origin societies.

This paper aims to understand the violence against the female gypsy society in two countries, Spain and Brazil. Spain was chosen because of its connection with the gypsy community and its cultural interchange. In the south of Spain there is a region known as Andalucía, that has a strong cultural gypsy presence and integration with both cultures. In spite of this, violence against gypsy women and girls is still present. On the other hand, the gypsy community in Brazil is analyzed because it’s the country with the largest population of gypsies in America; however, the same signs of violence against their women and girls are shown.
