Today, knowledge management is an approach to many libraries. Library services for students at higher education play an important role to support studying-teaching processes. Nevertheless, it is still very difficult to apply. The bigger demand of students for the library services is a consequence in library management. To meet users satisfaction of library service given by the librarians, it is necessary to raise an application of knowledge management optimally to support service quality. The main objective is to recreate a knowledge and to share with another librarian or users.
A global digital environment and increasing competition. They must improve the quality of their services in order to survive. The article explores the relationship between service quality and user satisfaction and examines how user surveys have been employed in a number of previously published data sets. A model which demonstrates how satisfaction can be seen as both a microlevel response to individual transactions and at the macro-level as an outcome of service quality is proposed. Using an evidence-based approach, gaps between user expectations and perceptions are explored as well as the gap between user expectations and managers' perceptions of these. Studies that include user surveys of electronic library services are also analyzed in terms of customer expectations. Suggestions are offered about ways in which library and information service providers could make more use of the information derived from their own and other organizations' user surveys to improve their services.
The aims of library is to introduce the data such as books collection and information so that the user know and use it. Most of the user interest to visit and reseave good service and all facilities in library. So it’s important to promote the library services and collection to increase the users visiting.
Reading interest and reading habit in Indonesian society are still in category of minimal compared to Asian country. According to data this happened because all the day time of Indonesian society are for work and no time for read.
