This paper examines the problem of quality of service architectures implementation in today's telecommunication networks. The analyses of QoS architectures are given with particular emphasis on the criteria for QoS protocol embedding. According to predefined QoSs, types of network and techniques for signal transport, it is possible to determine QoS protocol architectures which will satisfy required QoS levels.

A part of gross national income intended for defense purposes should be used in an optimum way. Army defense capability depends, to a great extent, on the quality of defense systems uniting hardware, software, equipment and personnel into processes. System quality can be raised using the integrated system approach through life cycles. Quality management application through life cycles of defense systems identifies the need for multiple interactions among numerous participants as well as their interdependence, including industry which supports development, delivery and maintenance of defense capability from a concept to sale. The concept should facilitate the achievement of an overall aim, i.e. creation of products meeting requirements viewed from life cycle perspective, optimizing internal and external relations of participants and developing good partnership with industry. The paper emphasizes some important aspects of the concept in question.

A possibility of implementing an analytical network process in designing the structure of managing bodies in traffic service is illustrated. This method is shown by selecting a model of one of the variants of the structure of managing bodies. When multi-criteria methods are used in the choice of possible solutions, they start from the presumption that the criteria for evaluating variant solutions are mutually independent. The analytical network process implements mutual dependence of criteria as well as the dependence of criteria on alternatives. By implementing this method and the SUPER DECISIONS, software stability of a chosen variant of organization is increased and could be presumed as optimal.

This work is a presentation of standard technologies and procedures used in a process of small arms destruction in the Technical Repair Bureau Čačak. They include item reception and identification, dismantling and plastic deformation on a hydro-pneumatic press and gas cutting of large-caliber tubes well as marking and warehousing waste materials of all kinds. This method of weapon destruction has passed several international verification controls and in comparison with other suggested methods, it has been accepted as the best solution for particular conditions and requirements. Some special protective measures in the process of weapon destruction, applied at customer's requests, have been presented as well.

There is a growing number of accidents involving hazardous chemical substances during transportation. Serbia and Montenegro are at the crossroads of numerous important European transport links where a lot of such transports pass through. A great number of such substances can considerably damage environment for a very long period of time. This paper studies such events applying different parameters; it tries to point at successful prevention and protection from this threat at peace, as well as during war operations. The realization of the universal and united system of the NBCD of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro, together with modern communication equipment and very effective mobile units, enables on - time reaction and successful monitoring, alarming, protection and decontamination.
