Composite has special behavior properties even compared to the other alternative engineering materials, for example it is strong, light, corrosion proof, economic, etc. Type of fiber in this research is natural fiber (widuri), and hopefully it can replace fiber glass that is difficult to be reached today, because its price is too expensive. The aims of this research are to find out the effect of fiber length and volume fraction on bending properties of widuri composite polyester. Widuri composite was treated by using NaOH 5% for 2 hours, fiber orientation was short random direction with the fiber length was 3 mm, 5 mm, and 7 mm, molding method was hand lay-up with variation of volume of fraction in each size of fiber was 20%, 30% and 40%, and the binder was matrix polyester, specimen measurement was three points bending with ASTM D790 standard. The result of calculation is the highest power of bending is 188,7567 MPa and the lowest is 143,527 MPa, while the highest point of elasticity module of bending is 4,9142 MPa and the lowest is 2,7078 MPa. The highest point of bending temporary is 21516,6 Nmm and the lowest is 13184,64 Nmm. From the result of statistic analysis, there is no significant influence to volume fraction and fiber length on polyester widuri composite. The result of photo specimen fracture shape, showed that on volume faction 20%, the fracture was resulted by matrix failure when it held back burden, while on 30% and 40% showed fracture shape was resulted by failure of fiber
