The Journal of Animal Behavior and Biometeorology (JABB) is a scientific journal published quarterly by the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid (UFERSA) where articles are published inserted in the areas of animal behavior, animal biometeorology, and animal ambiance: farm animals (mammals, birds, fish, and bees), wild animals, pets, animals in zoos and invertebrate animals. The publication is exclusively digital and articles are freely available to the international community.
Submission of articles implies that the data are unpublished and have not been submitted for publication in other journals. The JABB publishes original articles in the form of research articles, short communications, and reviews, and only one review article will be published per issue. The articles resulting from research work should be well grounded in theory and execution should follow scientific methodology and justification for their goals, and short communications should provide sufficient results for a publication in the form of Article Research. Review articles should involve the relevant scientific literature about the topic.
The JABB publishes articles in Portuguese and English. All works written in a language must also contain the title, abstract, and keywords in another language. Should be adopted strictly all rules of spelling and grammar currently in place for these languages.
