The Iranian Journal of Microbiology (IJM) is a peer-reviewed journal that strives to publish high quality, original research papers, reviews, short communications, case reports, technical reports, and letter to the Editor on all aspects of basic and applied research on bacteria and other micro-organisms, particularly diagnosis, epidemiology, antimicrobial agents and chemotherapy, clinical microbiology, veterinary microbiology, environmental microbiology, pathogenicity and virulence, molecular biology and genetics.
