  • Christian Pilgrimage Review is an international, quarterly, bilingual scientific journal of open access on various issues of scientific study Christian pilgrimage in the world in the past and present. Christian Pilgrimage Review is thematically focused on the study of the formation, development and current situation of Christian pilgrimage to the Holy Land (Palestine and neighboring countries) and in the territory of other states of the spread of the Christian religion. Christian Pilgrimage Review is thematically focused on the study of the formation, development and current situation of Christian pilgrimage in the world, the history of holy places of general Christian or local significance, and the practical implementation of going to holy places. The journal highlights several major destinations for the pilgrimage of Christians of the Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant or Oriental churches or other Christian religious organizations. The journal strives for a theoretical understanding of the phenomenon of holy places and the study of the practical implementation of the pilgrimage of Christians in the past or at the present stage. The phenomenon of pilgrimage deserves its essential study from the point of view of the existence of the tradition of pilgrimage, history, anthropology, politics of states of origin of pilgrims and holy places of arrival of pilgrims. The problems of the formation and development of the Christian pilgrimage from the point of view of the journal can be comprehended from the moment of the birth of the Christian religion to the present. Christian pilgrimage can be conceptualized and explored in the light of the latest challenges and opportunities, the transformation of Christian pilgrimage in different regions of the world. The journal is interested in publishing scientific research, regardless of the confessional and religious affiliation of the author. The journal does not emphasize the value of articles on the basis of a statement about the author's belonging to the Christian religion or sympathy for it.
