Temas de Coyuntura is a biannual academic and indexed publication of the Instituto de Investigaciones Económicas y Sociales (IIES) of the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB). The journal was founded in 1983 with the aim of publishing articles in Spanish that present research results, reflections or theoretical reviews that contribute to the economic and social sciences. Currently, it is managed through the Open Journal Systems platform and has evaluators who ensure the quality and originality of the published works.
