Object and scope of the journal
The Ratio Juris journal is a semi-annual scientific publication of the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous Latin American University of Medellin, Colombia, of wide national and international production, proposed to serve as a means of debate, interlocution and socialization of academic and scientific production of the academic community immersed in legal and socio-legal issues.
The Law School of the Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana calls on the national and international academic community to submit publishable articles, for which you can consult the terms of the permanent call and fill out the rights transfer format. The topics should be the disciplinary knowledge of Law or related areas, such as Legal Sociology, History of Law, Philosophy of Law, Legal Psychology, and Legal Anthropology.
The Ratio Juris Magazine gives prevalence to the articles referring to the research lines:
Law, State and Latin American Culture: Includes topics such as Latin American Thought and Democracy, Ethnicity and Law, and Cultural History of Law.
Globalization, Human Rights and Public Policies: Includes the topics of globalization and Law, Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, State, democracy and Public Policies.
Bio-law, family and society: Includes topics such as Family and Gender, Contemporary Discourses of Civil Law, Psycho-legal Issues, socio-legal, political-legal and bio-law.
For this purpose, articles derived from scientific research, states of art derived from research, articles on thematic review of the area of knowledge or research product, reflection on research work carried out by the authors, and bibliographic reviews can preferably be presented.
