Revista Tecnica de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad del Zulia Journal is an organ of scientific and informative publications of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Zulia, created in 1978 as a printed journal
This serves as an instrument for the dissemination of scientific-technical research in all areas of engineering and its related basic sciences; among them Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geodetic Engineering and Electrical Engineering. In this, outstanding and unpublished research works are presented in the form of scientific articles, update articles and technical notes, from the national and international scientific-technological community, from Universities, Research Centers and National and Foreign institute.
It is a journal that is published quarterly in three numbers corresponding to an annual volume. Each issue circulates on the first day of January, May and September, respectively, published in Spanish and English. Since 2015 the Magazine circulates only in digital format. The Technical Journal follows a totally free open access policy, allowing the complete content of the journal to be downloaded in digital format (PDF and HTML).
Authors must send their manuscripts prepared in the format described in the publication rules indicated in the Guide for authors. Manuscripts are submitted to a peer evaluation process by a scientific committee and expert evaluators in the area and lines of research of the same. It is a double blind process. After the manuscript is approved and published in the Journal, the author can place his manuscript in the format published on his personal website, can distribute copies in electronic or printed format and reuse part of it in his future articles, always and clearly indicating the correct citation of the corresponding.
