The governing strategy for education 2016-2020 relies on major investments in human resources, investments made both for professionalization of the teaching career and for reconsideration of the didactical levels system. The community’s expectations in terms of teaching staff’s skills are high. Teachers qualify for one or two speciality disciplines which means a high level of academic education. Knowledge is continuously updated through improvement programmes which ensure a minimum number of 90 transferable credits every 5 years. The traditional role of the information sender is obsolete. There emerge new roles of the modern teacher: resource person, instructor and adviser towards documentation and information, supporter of transdisciplinarity, expert in learning situations presented to pupils, researcher with innovation valences in the discipline didactics, assessor of the learning progress of each pupil, responsible and organiser of the interpersonal relationships which are established in schools or intermediary of such relations with community. The objective of the focus group research as investigation method was to outline the perception of the teaching staff in pre-university education in Dambovita on the “professionalization” model of the teaching career. The sample of the teaching staff in pre-university education, high school, on which the focus group research was conducted, was made up 9 teachers with different expertise, seniority and qualification levels in education so as to ensure representativity and lead to pertinent conclusions with regards to skills which teachers in pre-university education should have in order to practice the teaching profession.

The efficiency of public investments is based on the identification and analysis of economic indicators and the main tool of analysis and valuation of investment projects is cost-benefit analysis. Within it, the emphasis is on the economic impact generated by the projects implementation. Context of sustainable development as growth and competitiveness in European plan, investment strategies implies the use a social and economic perspective, taking into account the benefits allocation and use of resources in the long term. The social and cultural environment issues and the generated impact, it integrates the principles of the territorial intelligence based on the use of information technology and increased territorial connectivity between people, organizations and communities. The article intends to present public investment management approach taking into account the specifics and planning needs of the territory and identifying new approaches in area that were based on documentary analysis of current methodologies. The study results demonstrate the need to evaluate investment efficiency taking into account the three priorities: territorial economic intelligence, territorial strategic intelligence and management of territorial communities.

Price fairness perceptions for hotel services is a topic of interest, considering the particularities of price setting process in this area and the variety of factors that influence hotel prices. The present study aims to investigate some aspects of price fairness perceptions for hotel prices in Romania, using a national survey on hotel services customers. The main objectives of the study are oriented on investigating: the behaviour and feelings associated with unfair prices, the attitude to hotel prices, the perceived motives that determine hotel price increases, the information behaviour on price changes. The main results show that price is important for customers in choosing hotel services, the main factors associated with price increases being related to the desire of seller to increase profit and to the cost increases. The customers' reactions when they are confronted with unfair prices refers especially on changing the rebuying behaviour, while the most important way to acquire information on price increases is to analyse the competitors' prices. The decisional implications of this research refer to the management of pricing process and to the communications associated with price changes
