Innumerable components affect the conduct of human capital in businesses, with the organizational environment being a determining and influential factor at work. Among the elements that accompany it is the burnout syndrome (professional exhaustion), known as mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion generated by overwhelming demands, stress, and job dissatisfaction. The research aims to reveal the organizational environment's influential effects on human capital when venturing into using the design thinking tool as a business culture towards solving problems innovatively and creatively. The study is framed within a non-experimental documentary-type methodology, given the amount of theoretical content supported by a review design based on original research, triplet reviews, books, and theses stored in electronic databases: Redalyc, Scopus and Web of Science (WoS), in order to know, analyze and interpret the influence of the organizational environment when implementing the design thinking method. The results demonstrate the importance of the organizational environment towards the consolidation of actions regarding the responsibilities of human capital when applying new and creative methodologies, such as design thinking. The conclusions point to the influential existence of the business climate as a distorting entity and generator of the burnout syndrome in psychological and physiological aspects that produce stress and low quality of work life in the staff, whose incidence resides directly when implementing design thinking as a feasible alternative to solving organizational problems.
