Broiler poultry farming in India has a tremendous improvement from past decades due to the increasing demand, purchasing power of the consumers, adoption of various technologies and fast returns. Most of the farmers in India are uneducated. Most of the farmers are even not trained and the trained farmers are supposed to earn more profits than the non trained farmers. The broiler poultry farming in India is carried in two ways – self-farming and contract farming. Self-farming is a process where farmers alone take care of input procurement, rearing and marketing the output. Contract farming is where the input is provided by the integrators and output is also taken by the integrator, supervision is done by the integrator.

A Smartphone is a cell phone having an advanced operating system which can be performed like a normal computer. In this study, we examine the usage of Smartphone among first-year engineering and management students of affiliated colleges of SSPU. The research will be carried out using questionnaires distributed to 100 students. Based on this data, the trends will be evaluated, by categorizing usage into 2 types; normal usage and usage for learning. To study, the trends in Smartphone usage for learning, questions related to learning activities such as the benefit of Smartphone for education in terms of technical topics, soft skills, aptitude and reasoning, general knowledge are asked. This paper is organized as follows; Section 2 presents a literature review, Section 3 presents objectives, Section 4 discusses the methodology used. Section 5 presents tables and graphs, section 6 discusses research findings and section 7 gives suggestions. This study is concluded in Section 8.

Financial inclusion broadly defined as facility provided to wider section of the population to access financial services at a reasonable and affordable cost, these include not only banking products but also other various financial services such as insurance and equity product, Thus the financial inclusion is nothing but the making an effort of reaching financial services to those people who not able to have access to formal financial service sector and deepening of financial services for people who have minimal financial services and greater financial literacy and consumer protection so that, those who are offered the products can make the right choices. Therefore, we can rightly be said that delivery of financial services including banking services and credit at an affordable cost to the large sections of highly disadvantaged and low- income group of society. The concept of financial inclusion has been prevailing in India for a very long time. Major steps have been taken by both the central and state government and RBI. A greater number of studies have been made on financial inclusion in India, yet some gaps still exits, still there are problems like access to finance, credit, poverty, illiteracy and indebtedness etc., The prime object of the present study is to give a brief understandings about initiatives undertaken by our central and state government and RBI to uplift the poor and largely disadvantaged people by providing them with customized financial products and services.

‘Depository’ is an institution which holds the securities such as shares, government bonds, mutual funds etc on behalf of shareholders in a dematerialized form through depository participants (DPs). A Depository Participant acts as an intermediary or an agent between the customers and the depositories. The depository participants play a very significant role in the smooth functioning of the Indian capital market. One of the main objectives of the depository is to reduce the paperwork by converting the securities in electronic form and it transfers the shares from one account to another whenever there is any transaction of shares takes place. In India there are two depository institutions, namely, NSDL (National Security Depository limited) and CDSL (Central Depository Services Limited). The current research paper is focused on a comparative study of the two depositories i.e. NSDL and CDSL in terms of performance, total income, total asset, growth, demand custody (value) for a period of 5 years starting from 2011-12 to 2015-16. The data used for analysis are collected from the annual reports of the depositories. The ratios have been used to compare the performance of the Depositories. The paper also discusses the volume and value of dematerialization of securities, growth of centers/ beneficiary accounts.

The biscuit segment in India is going through a transformation and the consumer behavior is shifting from economy glucose biscuit to premium grain biscuit segment. There is tremendous pressure on the bottom line of the glucose biscuit segment as per the Industrial experts. So the retailer’s behavior is also shifting, looking at the thin margin in the glucose biscuit segment. This research paper is prepared to identify the effects of marketing mix strategy on retailer’s behavior towards glucose biscuit segment. In this paper, authors collect the data through a primary source from 50 respondents and attempts to highlight the impact P’s on retailer’s behavior. The literature explores topics such as pricing, Promotion strategy, Brand Identity, nutritional value and other factors related to retailers behavior for making the products available. This article reviews various research studies on Retailer’s Behavior and factors related towards Glucose Biscuit. The literature review has been based on a variety of studies ranging from phenomenal studies to articles focused on the aspect of Retailer’s Behavior and related attributes identified for the study. To check the reliability, exploratory factor analysis was applied and various suggestions have been recommended. Considering the above objective the research was conducted by designing a structure of questionnaires and survey was done to find out the feedbacks of retailers. The factors extracted fromin the research are Place, Product, Brand Identity and Packaging is found to be highly significant in influencing retailer’s behaviors through multiple regression analysis. Price and Promotion is not highly significant in this study.

This study examined the effect of banking, lending policy on the SMEs’ performance in Nigeria. The SMEs sector in Nigeria has been facing many difficulties in having access to the needed funds to run its business activities successfully. The commercial banks are reluctant to grant loans to the SMEs because they believe that giving loans to the SMEs is a risky business. Twenty four years macroeconomic data, from 1992 to 2015, were collected from the CBN Statistical Bulleting for this study. The findings indicate that SMEs sector is facing problem in accessing the needed loans from the commercial banks; while the commercial banks loans granting to the private sector are increasing, the commercial banks loans to the SMEs are declining; interest rate, commercial banks loans to the private sector have significant effects on SMEs’ performance, but commercial banks loans to the SMEs, exchange rate, and inflation rate do not have significant effect on SMEs performance.

The Agriculture sector, the particularly agrarian community has been benefited by Cooperative banking since the inception of Cooperative legislation. The three-tier short-term cooperative Credit structure is playing a vital role in agriculture sectors. At grass root level there are a lot of cooperative societies’ functioning, which helps in solving the financial needs of the rural population. District Central Co-operative banks help these societies to raise money by way of loans. At apex level there is state co-operative bank are functioning. This three-tier system is working reasonably well in India. In this paper, an attempt is made to study the financial performance appraisal of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank which has been playing an important role in the economy of the state of Himachal Pradesh. The study covers the period of Three years from 2013-14 to 2015-16. The various parameters taken for the appraisal of the bank are Liquidity, Investments, Assets, and Incomes. The study is based on secondary data. The data required for the study has been collected from annual reports of the bank and various websites.

It has been noticed that at the earlier decades the Financial Planning was mainly comprised of buying and selling of stocks, bonds and insurance, but slowly and steadily it has expanded to the other parts of the economy in the society. After that, Financial Planning included a broad variety of insurance planning, estate planning, investment planning and tax planning experts. This helped Financial Planning evolve into a comprehensive personal finance solution. The purpose of the study was to explore the motivational factors among the women entrepreneurs who started their beauty parlors in Bangalore city. A mixed method approach was adopted and a questionnaire was designed with 25 items to measure the motivators of 81 women entrepreneurs. The study found that the triggers which influenced women to start beauty parlor included external, internal factors and meaningful engagement such as perks/rewards and education/competencies. These women opined that the beauty parlor industry is a small enterprise and is easy to manage, which provides them social status, financial independence and rewarding career through which they are able to balance their family and professional lives. The research will help improve strategy for women employees to explore opportunities for start-ups and would aid in better positioning the significance of the above factors to train women to explore the opportunities for becoming entrepreneurs.
