In the emerging scenario of the business and competitive environment of the future, organizations must be flexible, adaptable, and more responsible to market needs. The nature of the paper is conceptual and link with corporate entrepreneurship to service quality which increase service related organizational performance. Corporate Entrepreneurship enhances a company's success by promoting product and process innovations. The empirical evidence provides that Corporate Entrepreneurship improves company performance by increasing the firm’s pro-activeness and willingness to take risks, and by pioneering the development of new products and services. Entrepreneurial orientation with innovation has provided core competitive advantage in an ever-changing market place. An organization’s performance underlying market value will be determined by its ability to innovate. Management should promote a entrepreneurial culture and a climate within their organizations that is encouraging innovation, and pragmatic approach towards service delivery witch lead to better service quality in the customer centric era.

DISCRIMINATORY POWER OF SELECTED RATIOS IN DEFINING STOCK MARKET PERFORMANCE OF AUTOMOBILE COMPANIES IN INDIA

The main focus of the paper is to investigate the relationship between financial ratios and stock returns and to find the ratio(s) which can discriminate between outperformers and underperformers in stock market. Multiple discriminant analysis models with Wilks’ Lambda were used on fourteen selected companies from April 1, 2004 to March 31, 2016. Market capitalization was the basis for this selection. For this a basic model was developed to identify the potential Good stock market performer and the Poor stock market performer, based on the Predictor variable viz. Eight ratios which were identified by the Discriminant Analysis. The classification summary shows that a good number of original Groups were correctly classified in to “Good” performer and “Poor” performer. This indicates a very good predictive capacity of the selected ratios. Also it has been concluded that financial variables viz. financial ratios have impact on the Capital Structure of the Automobile companies In India. The Market cap/Net Operating Revenue, Current ratio are the important set of ratio, having impact on financial performance of the companies. Revenue from operations/share, Asset turnover Ratio, Cash earnings Retention Ratio, PBDIT/share having moderate impact on financial performance of companies and Quick ratio and EV/Net operating Revenue are the set of ratios, having less impact on financial performance of companies

Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale is an important novel in many aspects including visions. This is a novel with a definite visionary quality and it depicts a terrifying annihilistic and futuristic vision. Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale is cast in the form of visionary fiction, which is presented as a women’s dystopia. The novel is a brilliant indictment of the twentieth century life as a whole in a totalitarian state. The Handmaid’s Tale projects a grim vision of the plight of women in the foreseeable future, a vision which broadens almost into an apocalyptic one. The paper attempts to reflect the vision of Atwood in the socio-cultural and socio-political condition of the Gilead period, which exhibits the conflicts and tensions, fear of uncertainty, violence and insecurity among the people.
